  • Sí que parecen mongoles, sí. XD

  • Do you have any clips of Mongolian wrestling as it was used on the battlefield, in it's purest form ,before it became a sport?

I want to find it for historical purposes, as I am very interested in it.

    Thanks

  • it looks similar to freestyle wrestling

  • nice demonstration. are there techniques in buh that are similar to shuai jiao?

  • excellent demonstration along with the traditional costume and dance (even if it looks strange to us). see the other live matches, you will see many familiar moves including a very effective 'uchimata like' throw..

  • Many technics are very similar to judo technics.

  • @bufandri

Man you cannot put parallel types together. With your logic you can call many types ranging from Chidaoba (Georgia) to Sumo (Japan), Khapsagay (Yakutia) to Pehlavani (India) as Shuai Jiao. lol, kinda Cinocentric chauvinism huh?

  • The one reason that Mongolians conquered the world is because of our wrestling skills. Wrestling was the key winning that when soldiers fights with enemies hand to hand combat. We were just beating em.

  • Great Video!!!I like wrestling. I look for different wrestling arts all over the world.

  • LoL I'm glad I'm Mongolian :D, cuz i know a lot of stuff like history and culture, if you have a question ask me :)

  • @dolgoon08261027

what was the vission of chengaiz Khan?

And tell me something about his personality. Can Mongolia give birth to another chengaize khan or something like that ever?

please to meet you I m Jankhan from Afghanistan. I m hazara Mughul.

  • He wanted great peace! He started to take lands by war and call whole land as Mongol, He was a kind man, he took care of every men. and he was so fair.

  • mongolians are taller then the other asians

  • the real matches are the best.

  • It's pretty cool that every nation has the same techniques when it comes to wrestilng.

  • yeah but its only nowadays

  • what the hell is this stuff?

    judoka1 one musta had a point !

  • AWESOME

  • I wonder what will happen if Mongolian wrestler vs a Brazilian JuJISU wrestler.

  • dum

  • most got owned at stand up, bur rule the ground

  • Mongolians will win!!!!

  • @Timothyloyalist . I am Mongolian but I dont take wrestling that seriously. I wrestled a Venezuelan guy who does Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and I put him down in seconds.

  • chutgur gej ene odo yu ve jinken buh tavilda

  • This mighty style influenced everything from Judo to Sambo and Turkish wrestling. Take it from the guys who conquered the world when h2h combat was essential.

  • They never came close to conquering the world since they had no idea that there were several continents that they didn't even know existed. Don't exaggerate!

  • mongolia martial art

  • I guess the dance represents the eagle flying, and I see lot`s of Judo. Nice clip, to study a serie of movements for drawing.

How`s Mongolia today? Japan and Mongolia, I believe they have the future.....

  • nice

  • the dance is wierd

  • And, you do not know anything about the dance at all.

  • the dance is the most important part man... its full of pride!!! it so beautiful

  • nice and beautiful.

  • And finally there's no such a thing like "forward moving as in japanese sumo"and "honorable death" . If you lose by moving forward, you will still remain the "Loser"!

And if you die the"honorable death" in a war, you will remain dead forever! There will be no other chances to fight again!

  • yep thats right.. if u live to another day.. u always can come back to fight again!

  • Mongolian wrestling is about the winning, using different types of techniques(just like in a war) You attack the opponents weak sides!(that doesn't nessesarily mean you're weak)

If the opponent doesn't show it's weakness, there's moves to make it open! And if the opponent attacks there's lot of different counter moves(techniques)

  • Nice comment. thanks buddy

  • they can be so fast.

    i mean like: REALLY FAST!

i saw them once throwing people around like pillows or something... heya

  • nice video! they can be fast. i mean like: REALLY FAST.

i have seen them throwing people like pillows or sumthing.

  • I'm Chinese too but I dun think that way.

Only retards like u make such racist comment.

  • im mongolian and im not trying to be racist- and totally just out of curiosity- do u in any way have some kind of detestment towards mongolians? again just out of curiosity

  • respect!

  • I understand that in China lots of information is being kept blocked and filtered but I hope what you've said about the reproduction and wrestling was a joke.

  • @HabibiLooks hahahahahahaahah oh my god

  • @HabibiLooks You mad? Non-asians can't even tell the difference between the greater Asian population.

  • @HabibiLooks You're polemicizing. Remember Qin for example? The Chinese had warriors long before the Mongols began to develop any warfare and the martial arts mainly developed from Chinese combat techniques. The Mongols were great warriors, but only since the 10th century onward and only until the 15th century. Watch your words!

  • Very tehnical stuff !

  • Do you really think your dodgy statement related to this video? Sorry I just couldn't connect Mongolian wrestling with ming or whatever warriors...

  • slapping - stimulates activity by causing minor pain (adrenaline)

"underwear" - is called 'shuudag' the purpose is same to Judo's kimono / for gripping and use a trick

they actually have underwear under the 'shuudag' :)

  • wow these Asians are huge.

  • mongolians eat lots of meat

  • although it looks kinda weird, i think it requires a lot of strength and balance.

  • In case anyone thinks that the eagle dance is really weird stuff and just looks stupid, it's actually quite a good warm up. Try gently flapping your arms and walking in low stance for 5 minutes, and you'll see. Great video. Really, thanks a lot for posting it, fenrismaelstrom.

  • Check out.

No agressivity , no fighting spirit in this video.

What they are showing in this exhibition is nothing else than grace, beauty , pure strengh , respect, dedication to the spirit of "birds" and nature...

    Impressive !

  • very nice video

  • 1000 years of history!!

  • that's interesting, thanks once again for posting!
