Yeah, sure. The movement of hips together with the movement of sides makes the movement logical or natural if you will. Don't confuse competitive dancing with social dancing where it's irrelevant how good your movement actually looks.

It's pretty obvious to begin with. Besides I've had many many girls saying they could have crush on me because of my dancing.

Ppl keep asking if any of the dances are salsa. There is no such thing as ballroom salsa - salsa is a different type of dance entirely. There's Cuban, LA, Cali, Cumbia, and NY styles of salsa. Ballroom is "ballroom latin" and actually has nothing to do with salsa! It's important ppl keep that perspective instead of the "that's not salsa!" remarks - no sh*t captain obvious!

There seems to be an "obsession" about the girls' rear ends. I am not sure that I am that comfortable in that mode of dance manner. Each girl seems to "stick out her rear end obviously. I don't mind the use of "the entire body" for latin. I realize that latin dancing changed since the 1980's, and I competed a few years in the advanced levels. This must be a trend now. It must be my age and taste showing, otherwise they executed the moves well. Thanks for posting,

There is no one in this world that has ever seen Eugene dance and said that he has no Heart or Soul. I did a little test and showed this video to my dancer friends and none of them would've placed Chmerkovskiy into 3rd or higher place before I told them who the couple was. I have yet to try this on pro judges though.

In their defense I could say they are not dancing their best in this video.
