Hallelujah is just one of those great songs props to Leonard Cohen for writing it.

It's wonderful what Jason's AI performance has done for both Buckley & Cohen ~ what matters is that a good song like this reaches many.

I love how each of Jason Castro's versions have been different too and tailored to the situation. Just watching this other video here ~ qEqszkV80wA of his arrangement for the film Amar A Morir, such a contrast in delivery ~ both equally wonderful for different reasons :)

Jeff Buckley's version of this song had never even charted before (in America anyway) and after Jason performed it on AI it propelled Buckley's version to be certified Gold and Platinum as a single. Not bad for an unknown kid that had only performed in public a handful of times prior to AI.
