@craiglsimons next time you come to Cornwall go up to any group of Cornish people from Bude to Lands end and tell them they are english and see what happends
@DjLukeBurton Cornwall is not england, under the 1337 charter of the Dutchy of Cornwall is land extra -territorial to england this is so that the heir to the throne has his own land to rule this charter still stands, Cornwall is legally the soil and teritorial possession of the Duke of Cornwall in right of the Duchy of Cornwall in england Scotland and Wales the land is held from the crown and reverts back to the queen in right of the crown so we already have a diffrence to the rest of the uk
@DjLukeBurton The Cornwall submarine mines act 1858 (the Duchy proved they owned the foreshore and river beds not the crown) and that Cornwall was jurisdictionally seperate from england and the uk goverment was forced to concede these points ,the 1973 Kilbrandon also known as the 1973 royal commission into the constitution recommended that Cornwall should be refered to as Duchy not county .
@DjLukeBurton The 1988 boundary commisson for the european parliment enquiry assistant commissioner G.D.Flather QC recorded" Cornwalls de facto if not de jure joinder with england." Any english goverment policy relating directly to Cornwall can only be carried out with approval from the duke who also holds bona vacantia rights in the Duchy no where else in the uk does this happen, does Cornwall still look like a part of england?.
@DjLukeBurton the reason idiots like yourself call Cornwall england is because the duke does not want Cornwall status to change he would prefer people to belive the falsehood that Cornwall is a part of england this cannot be debated in parliment because of royal privilege though the E U parliment does recognise Cornwalls status.
Sorry. Yes you're right. Cornwall is indeed not in ENGLAND, but IS part of the UK. Just like Scotland and Wales are two sepperate countries, which make up Great Britain.
@craiglsimons Its nothing personal there's a big push down here to get the goverment to recognize like the EU does that we are like the Scots and the Welsh with our own culture and identity, good film by the way
I had a feeling that as soon as I saw the "Welcome to Cornwall" sign and it had another language underneath, that I was entering a very different part of the country.
I noticed that the place names are very different to those in Devon, Somerset etc, with a lot more "Z's" than i'm used too! You certainly have a culture and identity all of your own and I found it absolutely fascinating.
This was my first ever visit to Cornwall and I love the place. Will visit again. Glad you like the video =)

@DjLukeBurton I know it's in England. Try telling that to hardy Cornish people who stupidly deny this fact.
