I never got the feeling while playing the game that Talisman, the player characrer is Melissa's husband. I wonder why you did.
It's a well know tradition that all the player characters in AC games are faceless legends, I like this approach.
I do have the feeling that Namco will ruin this in AC Assault Horizon, it's obvious to me that they are trying to appeal to an american audience with this new game, they have gotten rid of the AC world and probably the player character will get a face and voice this time, to me this will ruin the almost mythical presence of the player character as in the previous games.
Last missions in giant tunnels of some sort while running out of time, followed by narrow escapes and destruction of "something big" have been the thing since star wars.
I've done it several times in different aircraft, the A10, Tornado is hard to do it with, the Rafale isn't too bad, neither is the F18, yet to try it in the F14 tho!

That tunnel flying segement was easy. If you think it was hard go play HAWX 2 until the last mission then wait till you see the tunnel they make you fly down in that game not to mention as you try and fly into it lasers try to kill you.

@Wilkes94 Shamrock specifically makes a comment to Talisman (Garuda 1) in this video. Also, if I recall correctly (haven't played AC6 in a LONG time), I think the husband of the blonde woman was killed. This occurred early in the game; I think the husband was a pilot, actually.

Marcus Lampert (Shamrock) was wounded during combat action and has been placed on medical hold until he either succeeds in rehabilitation, or he will be medically discharged. He simply wanted to go see who was talking to him on the radio. Garuda 1 needs no mention, because he was A: you, and B: he represented all Emmerians.
for some reason I think the scriptwriting and voice acting is beginning to diminish for the Ace Combat games. In AC4, they seemed like believable people, but AC5 and this one, the voices seem more like studio script readings instead of convincing radio chatter.
Not to mention the new AC is in real world settings...wtf are Namdai on?

(I've heard from some website that said in the final mission when his plane getting heavy damage he thinks about suicide to be with his family. But in the end he choose to live on and eject. Which results in he needs to be in the wheelchair and cannot fly again.)
@dixievfd55 But at least before that, he managed to defend the innocent people of his beloved homecountry to the very end, even if he couldn't saved his family, but to prevent others from suffering the same fate is the greatest task he've ever done, even if it means he can never fly again. (Being alive is always better than death, he can live to see the world in peace again.)
@TeeheeTv Ironically F-16 is the plane that most wingmen preferred to use and died in it. I accidentally choose Alvin 'Chopper' Davenport to fly the F-16 in the mission he got shot down and died, PJ got killed by Pixy while flying the F-16, and now Shamrock in his F-16 got shot down as well. F-16 is a cursed plane!!!
@Willy2537 yea F-16 is the most difficult and the most cursed plane, and it is really the most difficult plane in a real world simulation when u are launching an AMMRAM(AIM-120C) off an f-16 in real life its is more difficult trust me i ran a Flight simulation on it once and got shoot down instantly by an SA-13 even though i was using ECMs, tons of Chaff and Flares and doing hard G turns to evade the missile. also u are mostly F@#$ed when it comes to a dogfight with a MIG-29 Fulcrum

i have no doubt they work. i just feel that they are pointless when it is possible to actually dodge missiles. as for realism its not exactly unreallistic to avoind a missile.
@ColdShadow3993 When playing online there are up to sixteen people in that room. Sixteen planes crisscrossing the sky. When i'm tailing someone and have a lock, i'm not gonna give up that kill just so evade a missile. Hence why i use my flares.
Each to his own but those flares help me out immensely in battle, lol.
i still think it is reallistic. for every minute you drag out a dogfight your chance of victory diminshes rapidly...consequently it is a case of be quick, be decisive then drag out your enemies attempts for as long as you can to formulate a counter
@ColdShadow3993 You have a point. But i have an aggresive flying style and try to stay more on the offensive than the defensive. OFF mode allows me to be more aggresive than in AC, and the flares save me from having to give up a kill to evade a missile shot. It doesn't ALWAYS work, but it's very effective.
there are certain planes with a flare type of system. they are called electronic counter pod measures and are mounted on several of the planes as an alternative to your special missiles. i guess it leaves you with less choice should you want these but i beleive it has a higher capacity of about 20 pulses or so. still they are mounted on some of the less offensive planes

talisman didnt die his wingmen fly into the core but was shot down and failed hes not dead but then came talisman and flew talisman inside and finished it thats the end!!!!!
at the end of AC5 it says that they dont know what happened to blaze edge nagase grim and snow just that they never flew again and they are heroes or something but they did live =D
UPDATE!!! For those who wonder where are the Sukhoi's SU series. Ace Combat 2 has Su-37 (Or SU-35 i don't know) and Ace Combat 3 has a more futuristic version of it cause the game take places in the future.
No the symbol for this game is F-15E but he used the F22 in the final mission. The F22 is the symbol for AC04 and F-14 is for AC5. While in Zero it is F-15C. F-16 serves as a minor roles in the game such as Zero and 6 as a wingman's choice plane. (Yeah you can see that PJ and Shamrock likes to used F16s)

Each to his own but those flares help me out immensely in battle, lol.

i still think it is reallistic. for every minute you drag out a dogfight your chance of victory diminshes rapidly...consequently it is a case of be quick, be decisive then drag out your enemies attempts for as long as you can to formulate a counter

@ColdShadow3993 You have a point. But i have an aggresive flying style and try to stay more on the offensive than the defensive. OFF mode allows me to be more aggresive than in AC, and the flares save me from having to give up a kill to evade a missile shot. It doesn't ALWAYS work, but it's very effective.

there are certain planes with a flare type of system. they are called electronic counter pod measures and are mounted on several of the planes as an alternative to your special missiles. i guess it leaves you with less choice should you want these but i beleive it has a higher capacity of about 20 pulses or so. still they are mounted on some of the less offensive planes

With off mode I think HAWX beats ace combat. That and the addition of flares. Ac has better everything else. Storyline, exceptional music, characters. I cried when chopper died in AC 5 and was extremely angry that PJ was killed. I live AC but they should borrow so stuff from HAWX

talisman didnt die his wingmen fly into the core but was shot down and failed hes not dead but then came talisman and flew talisman inside and finished it thats the end!!!!!

UPDATE!!! For those who wonder where are the Sukhoi's SU series. Ace Combat 2 has Su-37 (Or SU-35 i don't know) and Ace Combat 3 has a more futuristic version of it cause the game take places in the future.

No the symbol for this game is F-15E but he used the F22 in the final mission. The F22 is the symbol for AC04 and F-14 is for AC5. While in Zero it is F-15C. F-16 serves as a minor roles in the game such as Zero and 6 as a wingman's choice plane. (Yeah you can see that PJ and Shamrock likes to used F16s)
