  • Where did you get teh cards?

  • Excellent point sketchman. I was playing with my own tapered deck and thinking the same thing. You have got to create an effect, something akin to telling a story and less like doing a trick.

  • I want to ask you something what if you mess up the order how you can fix it as it was before?(Sorry for my english)

  • copate ! just a word... i know, you can't understand...

  • Why would one want to do a tick for someone who knows about the stripper deck?

  • @JonahTorn This seems like a video on why magicians buy products that impress other magicians who see these tricks often enough to get bored and want their hobby to be fun. The trouble is that may not make for the perfect finish, point or general presentation for someone who has never heard of or seen a given trick.

  • THEY LIED!!!!!! there wasnt a single stripper on that deck!

  • well i have had my stripper deck for 3 years now and the cards are pretty wear out so the sides dont rilly show with time .. stripper decks rock tho!!!

  • Can I also do normal card tricks with a Stripper Deck?

  • @MegaGurke007 yeah, absolutely.

  • sketchman16 my msn in profile! Stripper Deck Tutorial

  • In fact, You CAN do this with a non-stripper deck :D

  • where did u get that black tiger stripper deck?

  • @ItsMeBdon It's actually called a Stealth Deck which you can order online at magic shop websites.

  • i didn't know they make stripper decks in black tiger

  • So What Are The CardsMade Of. Please Dont Tell Me IS Paper?

  • Cool thanks i just bought a deck but it didnt really come with instructions so i had to figure it out. I usually get ticked off when people reveal tricks but stripper deck looks like a normal deck so they wouldnt really know if its a stripper deck. Great tutorial helped out alot

  • You CAN do that with a regular deck. :P If you know how to force card and you also have a trick to know where it exactly is.

  • This is a good video. I just got a stripper deck with a short DVD but I am having a hard time. I keep getting the cards mixed up and then there is the manual dexterity. It would be nice to see a very basic video about how to practice so that I don't mix up the cards and practice getting my hands to work right. Thanks for the video.

  • well............ur a faggot

  • Can you please tell me where you got that black tiger stripper deck I've been looking all over the Internet for one and couldn't find them please help

  • thanks for this video

  • song???

  • you can make a stripper deck by ur self

  • these are black tiger stripper decks

  • the second trick was pretty clever well done

  • how did you get a tiger stripper deck ?

  • how can i make home made stripper deck?

  • shouldnt u have done the tricks first then explained it lol :)

  • the deck im using in the video response is a marked stripper deck and to be honest i use them all the time and to this date no1 has ever realized they are marked or tappered. hehe lol.

what do you think of my trick? im pretty new to magic but enjoy practicing. check out some of my videos, i only have like 10 as im new to youtube too.

    nice video. peace.

  • How did you get the black cards?, nice

  • what bicycle deck is this?

  • Are the stripper decks plastic because the plastic decks last longer

  • Stripper decks are usually not plastic as plastic does not have the same feel that magicians need. They usually stick together and they are harder to work with. This does not mean that a plastic stripper deck can not be made it can, but why would you want one as the feel of most plastic decks is just horrible.

  • well stripper decks cost more than normal decks so if its plastic it should last longer

  • yes but then you would lose functionality since plastic cards do not perform as well. Would you rather have a shitty deck thats lasts long or one that functions how you want it to?

  • @mrroflsauce Not if you get fanning powder and treat it properly. I HATE plastic coated cards

  • Great !!! Tanks !

  • Great Presentation of the tricks...enjoyed. 5*****

  • what would i do if they get all out of order?

  • There is no order to the cards. Like I said it is a normal deck that has an angled cut on 1 side of the deck. Now you do have to make sure you cut and shuffle properly so that you don't mix the angled cards. If that happens during a trick you messed up and you must start over. Play with the cards and see which shuffles and cuts work and which ones do not. This is another reason i am not a big fan or stripper decks because you are constantly trying to make sure the cards are flush. Very limiting

  • how are stipper decks different to normal ones?

  • they are rough at one side and sharp at the other... that's why the reversed card will stick to your fingers and you can pull it out...

  • Can you guys not hear or something. I said in the video that they are cut at an angle on one side. Thus they are narrower at one end than at the other. If one card is reversed in the deck an edge will pop out because its thick end is in the narrow end of the deck. It s a little hard to explain but rockhailand...your description is very wrong.

  • well i'm sorry for that... never had a stripper deck, just heard it from a friend... didn't know, that he was wrong... sorry

  • a normal stripper deck is better , i mean not in black tiger version nor ghost etc....... just normal , because other people might feel strange if it is their 1st time to see a custom deck like black tiger

  • your exactly right...just wat i was thinking

  • thanks for the thumbs up , my mirage deck cant be fan anymore , cant spread it out too .. the rough backs are faded .. too bad

  • it's still obvious.

  • Imagine a Svengali/Stripper Deck...That would be sweet but ud probably face some problems

  • Shape shifter (trickbusters1)

  • What is the name of the change/switch at 4:48 ??

  • can u get this "negative" color deck as a normal deck? PLZ REPLY

  • yes you can

its called "black tiger" you can choose it with red/white pips

  • thx alot :P

  • no problem :)

  • no problem :)

  • Yes you can, just go on google. and type Black tiger deck and it will show

  • im pretty sure its the bicycle ghost deck.. im not sure go on Ellusionist [dot]com

  • nvm!! i figured it out. its the black tiger deck :) you can buy it at Ellusionist [dot]com

  • Yea, where did you get that deck? It looks really cool.

  • "just be original... play around with the cahds"

  • *picks his ear*

  • i made my own.

    its really quite simple

  • i can do the first one with a regular deck. very simple don't need stripper deck

  • is there a way to shave down a regular deck to make it into a stripper deck

  • I don't believe so. You see if you were to sand down the edge it would flatten the edge and it would no longer preform well. I suggest buying one. It like 10 buck and they cut it so that it keeps its edge.

  • ok ty i tried to sand down one of my crappy decks that arent full and it didn't work so im just gunna buy one at magic geek

  • HOW THE HELL DO YOU DO SHAPE SHIFTER

  • 1st card face up, double lift the 1st and 2nd card(which is face down), hold the sides, flip the card

  • which is better a stripper deck or a normal deck?

  • It depends on the trick.

A regular deck of cards is 3.99 and a stripper deck (that I baught) was 11.00

its really easy to do stuff with a stripper deck :P

  • real magicians do not require gimmick decks.

    sleight > bought tricks/decks

  • So true thank you!

  • the one thing i'd advise you on is to not overdo that "look no showing edges" move (e.g. 2:41 ). Yes, this would imply it isn't a stripper deck, but it also implies you've got something to hide. This is one of the fundamentals of magic theory: don't try to convince people of something that doesn't need convincing, it arouses suspicion.

My advice is to square up the deck and show the "clean" side like you did and leave it at that. Let the spectator's eyes do all the work.

  • Now, I know the answer to the "shape on my heart" card trick...

  • how did you change that card ive tried and tried

  • pause at 6:36. it kinda looks like he is flipping us off

  • How did you do the cardchange at 4:48 ??!

  • U must use a trick... I tell u in a mail...

  • its called the shapeshifter look it up on youtube type in shapeshifter tutorial

  • its called the shapeshifter

  • stripper decks aren't that noticeable, unless the person decides to suddenly take one card and turn it around, the first method is great.

  • jaja what a coincidence!a doctor gave me a striper deck froma medicine named letarmine, all because i do a magic trick, the magic is good

  • dumb ass glassed guy dont be so boastful (Be Creative)??

    so dont use stripper card...

  • you talk too much dickhead

a better magic trik will be to make your head disappear!

  • hey whats the name of the song

  • try penguinmagic for us

    taylors magic shop for aus

  • Nice idea, but you'll never change the fact that some people have no imagination or creativity of their own, and by posting this your showing a load folks that the stripper deck actually exists! Not just that, but even explaining how they work! Not that your the only one of course, but your saying don't be obvious when using a stripper because people will know.. I've passed out stripper decks, no one suspects a thing! The key to a lot of good magic is MISDIRECTION! That alone will get you far!!!

  • i need sum help!

were did u get them cards :O

    they are LUSH!!!

  • I do not av a stripper deck but 4 the first trick yeh good iea of using a crimp

  • where did u get that stripper deck it looks soo cool

  • i agree with you. people use this deck only to pull it out of the deck. I will say that it is not magic by doing it that way . good tutorial, ceep telling tips. GOOD WORK. : P

  • NEVER say: "see, there are no cards sticking out". People don't know there are decks like this, and this just gives them the idea that you are using fake cards......

  • Make more tricks.

  • lol you got pretty annoyed didnt you

  • can u just shave the edges down or do u got to buy it??

  • i like the card change

  • wow thats nice didn't know you can do so many cool tricks with it.. i go buy it :D but if i buy stripper deck with your color (which really cool..) ppl will know that something special with this deck.. so i gotta buy red or blue deck.. damn =\

  • where can i get a striper deck from.

  • local magic shop or somtin like penguin magic wud hav it

  • Just make one.

  • nice tips man... my stripper got waterlogged, but when i get another... im gonna learn that changey one...

  • What for a Stripperdeck are that?

  • yeah well hey i agree with what you have to say, but dont talk about how im screwed if someone finds out im using a stripper deck and yet you're the one posting on a public video site about using one of the greatest magic secrets of all

  • That is because i do not respect the stripper deck. It is a shortcut for people who do not want to invest the time to learn how to control a card. It is cheating and it is not necessary.

  • No, it's because you're young and stupid and don't know how to REALLY use the deck. There are SO many more uses for this deck other than stupid tricks like these but that comes from learning, reading, and growing up. I've done entire show stoppers with this deck before but now with the kind of crap you do.

  • haha congrats on choosing the shortcut i am glad you like it, i prefer using real slight of hand rather than depending on a deck to do the trick for me. I will tell u what if u think you can do better show me... post a response. I GUARANTEE a can do it with a regular deck. Lets see this show stopper fag...

  • Even if it is a shortcut, what does it matter u aren't using it. If u were to do some slieghts or even the most advanced, U should know that these are supposed to be secrets to the magic world. I know u dont respect the deck but seriously why go and ruin a trick???

  • im not really trying to ruin it. No lamen knows what a stripper deck is so they wouldnt search for it on youtube. Also i just wanted people to invent higher quality tricks with the deck rather than the crappy one everyone uses it for.

  • thank you very much rickroll411 you truly understand magic and must be a magician

  • sorry i meant to post that here. thank you rickroll411 for understanding. im not being sarcastic either. you understand magic unlike the video poster

  • my stripper deck got all messed up. do u know how to fix it. i think i shuffled wrong.

  • I'm sure I could help you. Just explain how exactly is it "messed up"? Are half the cards the wrong way round? or what?

  • i shuffled it and half of the things got turned around

  • then its so simple. hold the deck from both edges (as in one hand holding it from one edge and the other hand holding it from the other edge) and pull. All cards that are turned one way will come in one hand and all cards that are turned the other way will come in the other hand. Turn the cards in one hand, and put the deck back together. If you aren't that good at "stripping" multiple cards at once, you might not get all cards in the first try. Just repeat till you get 'em all.

  • how do u pinch the card and it changes can u post a vid on that?

  • stupid boy pendejo estupido

  • c'mon man dont reveal that

  • reveal what?

  • can you find a card with a stripper deck just by cutting? im not new to magic, iv been doing it about a year and im really pretty good, but i am new to trick decks.

  • yes you can cut to a card, but if you are already into magic, i suggest not getting into trick decks. Everything you can do with them u can do with normal deck. Stick to the real stuff.

  • can a card from a stripper deck be mixed in to a normal deck and achieve the same effect?

  • no. A stripper deck is the same size as a normal deck but shaved smaller at one end thus if it was placed into a normal deck the thicker end would be the same size as the deck. One thing you can do tho is put a very small mark in sharpie on the edge of the card on opposing corners. it will be barely noticeable to spectators but if you look for it you can see the card that has a dark corner and you can control it... Maybe this method will work for you.

  • if the thisk end would match up wouldnt you be able to cut to that card similar to hou you can with a svengali deck? thats what im interested in, cutting to a card.

  • no you would have to cut the whole deck. If you just cut one card the thick end would be the same size as the the deck. This way no matter which way you put it in, the thick end would not stick out to cut it because the deck is as thick as the thick end.

  • all tricks arent definitely obvious, there are many variable dependencies, how it is done, what it is done with, how well you speak and guide the spectator. i think that "obsolete trick" can be done, frying the spectator's mind, with necessary add-ons.

  • how do i do that flicky thing?

  • its called a shape shifter and it is quite a difficult move. Look it up if u need to know how.

  • more vids plz!!

  • i just bought a stripper deck few days ago..wondering where i can learn more tricks from it??? anyway good vid..thanks..

  • Just play around with the deck and i am sure that you will come up with your own tricks. You can do any lost and found card tricks with that deck just remember that the audience can shuffle so let them as it makes the trick better.

  • thanx man... its easy when u get the hang off it...cool trick...cant wait to perform..

  • thanks I just bought a Stripper deck and this helped me familiarize myself with it

  • u could have made it for cheaper

  • what is the difference between a hindu cut and a belly cut stripper deck?=]

  • Hindu cut is down the long edge (side) of the deck and a belly cut is down the short edge (back/front) of the deck. Both work well and both have different qualities. The one i used was a hindu cut. If you are into stripper decks i would recommend giving both a try.

  • gud man, nice video.iv orderd that deck jus dere hope its good.

  • by the way good video thanx, and i love ur cards (i have them too)

  • Great...I have just received the stripper deck, but in blue bicycle. I am not too keen on the tiger decks!....you accent sound like your from the mid-Atlantic? No offence, perhaps lived in England for sometime? Magic????

  • yes i was born in england and i now live in america, good luck with your magic, but i would advise trying to use a regular deck. I started out on a stripper deck and then i moved over to a regular deck once i got better.

  • Yes..Thought there was a British twist in your accent. I was doing a video blog on accents across N. America anyway, i.e Boston "Pahk de cah," they don't pronouce 'R's, Texas they say "howdy Y'all" etc! What is your favourite store there? I went to Misdirections, SF, Chicago navy pier and Tannens magic NYC - hate that store!

  • lol im from El Paso TX and we dont really say that howdy thing... but that Y'all is one of the most common things you will hear lol

  • good job would love to see more of these not the magic trick reveals but magiciacian to magician tips..... good job btw

  • hey dude cool tricks. and cool deck of cards

  • more please.

  • y r u picking up magic now?

  • no, i just think you did a good job, and it would be beneficial to those that ARE picking up magic if you made more

  • moar pl0x

  • what?

  • nice tutorial 5 stars

  • hey where do u find those at ? and how much r they? or can u make em urslef:)

  • uhm im guessing u just pushed the j of d that was sticking out to the other end

  • yes i explained that at the end of the video but it is a good cover.

  • nice black tiger stripper.
