if mambo in seattle is any indication of what would happen if curlin meets colonel john it wont be much of a contest. the pro ride surface is only unanswered question. i think curlin and assmussin's staff can make that transition. but colonel john was my derby pick. i never saw big brown coming.

Eh, I wouldn't say he's the next Big Red, because both Big Reds were great from the start. I'm not saying Curlin wasn't great from the start, he just seems like a horse that gets greater with age, so I'd say he's another Cigar or John Henry.

its funny, last year during this time i kept saying how great Curlin would become and everyone kept telling me "he is too in-experienced, and i still believed at him. haha, its just funny to look back now and see i was right! =)
Curlin is " THE NEXT BIG RED" but now that he's retired i wonder who will come through the ranks next?

he´s an amazing horse with a lot of power.
for me is curlin, "the american superhorse" of this time!
Breeders Cup Classic and Dubai World Cup.
he´s a true champion!
