2 Glock 23 .40 Cal Pistols In Hidden White Cerakote

i was just questioning why someone would want to take a superior coating and media blast it off to spray on ceramic what ever the fack on it. tenifer is on par or even more resistant to wear than dlc type coatings.

i do know about cerakote thanks you and i have seen it chip and crack maybe it has something to do with the process idk but, either way it looks ghey :)

I never said there was anything wrong with glocks tenifer coating. As for white, it's not my cup of tea. Like I said earlier, their not my pistols.

why media blast the tenifer off? it has to be one of the most durable finishes i have ever seen? the only thing i would replace the tenifer finish with would be the dlc coating thats the only comparable coating i can even think of at the moment.

lol a non reflective almost indestructible coating was just replaced with white paint that will chip off in 6 months :/

i'm not trying to be a dick here i'm just curious why someone would want to do this? this stuff just never seems to last.

You obviously don't know anything about cerakote. It's not paint. It's a polymer ceramic, and it doesn't chip. I Cerakote whatever the customer wants, in whatever color he/she want's. Personally white is not my first choice, but these are not my pistols.

Well if I don't spray guns for customers, then I have a shit ton of them. I'm a gunsmith, did you even look at my site? I spray guns whatever color the customer wants. This one happend to be a homosexual, whats wrong with that? Buy the way it's glocks, when there's two of something it's plural.
