My father once told me about he misses his childhood. When stars were heroes, not just celebrities that we want to know what type of drug they were using.
It's kind of odd to admit this, but I think the Universal Monsters are my "heroes" in that sense.
Oh, and fucking awesome video. I mean FUCKING AWESOME.
Gret job however it wouldn't have hurt to include a few seconds of Henry Hull as the Werewolf of London. Lon Chaney Jr. is by far the best and greatest known of the Universal Studios' werewolves however Hull was there first.
You can tell you put time into this montage and it makes it a million times better than just random scenes like most montages on Youtube do. This is amazing. Best horror tribute online. Perfect.
Wow. Absolutely FANTASTIC video, just wonderful. Dracula. Frankenstein's monster. The Mummy. The Invisible Man. The Wolf- Man. The Creature from the Black Lagoon. The Bride of Frankenstein. The Phantom of the Opera. The music is just terrific. I love these movies, thanks for reminding me how great they were.
The best quality one was probably the first one that Image released. Their later special edition release is nice for extras but the motion on the restored print has an odd blurry quality.
@Uncletim you seem like a cool person i'm into all the old monster movies my brother hates me for that anyway great video and nice work nice pick of music. i know more about the old movies then the new ones that come out i ow that to my dad he got me interested in godzilla and all the other old monster and horror movies my firstfilm that i saw was godzilla. any way nice a pefect job.
@MOVIEmania709 Thanks. Good to hear you're into Godzilla movies as well. I'm hoping to make a video for those once I find the right piece of music. It seems like everyone uses that Blue Oyster Cult song so I'm hoping to find something different.
captainwillies69, that would be the original Mummy played by Boris Karloff in 1932. He isnt well recognized because none of the sequels had him. This Mummy is only seen in bandages in the beginning, but he regenerated (like in the 1999 remake). All the sequels focused on a different mummy, who was always in bandages.
Excellent! My only suggestion: you should have had Chaney Jr. reciting the famous "Even a man who is pure of heart..." in there, somewhere. But, I realize you had limited time to work with. Brilliantly done!
Bravo!!!! This is the best presentation of this suite of films I've ever seen. You really captured the spirit of these films and why they are classics of popular culture. Your choice of music, choice of shots, and the editing all work together to create something special. Excellent work.
Great job. Well edited, and the music is perfect. Love the Universal monsters.

I believe you're referring to the guy in the skull mask? That's from the Phantom of the Opera, when the Phantom dresses as the Red Death.

Bravo! This was so well done! The Invisible Man is my favorite Universal Monster movie. "Here we go gathering nuts in May...."

It's interesting to note that of all the monsters, the Invisible Man kills the most people following the train wreck he causes.
