I FIXED MY PS3 WITH A HAIRDRYER YHH.NOW IM GNA SELL IT TO GAMESTATION FOR £95. SAVED ALL MY DATA AND GOT BLACK OPS.YHH I FU**ING WORKS. THANKS A LOT JAMES

Can't believe this actually worked. Didn't use a box, and put it in front of the outside door to cool it down. And it worked! Great. Got my disc and save files, so now I can buy a slim.

Similar to me ja196. 1st time 50+ hours playtime...2nd time much less,probably only 8-10 hours.3rd time was even less I think but latest time she has been going for 40+ again.The last time I did it I pulled the flaps of the box so they faced me,this meant the PS3 was even more 'insulated' and she got really hot. Also this last time I have put my fan up another level(I use it behind ps3 when on now) Another tip is NO PROLONGED PLAY/USE..if you hear the PS3 getting louder then Save and power down

i have done till this date 8 attempts. on my 1/2 attempt didnt work 4 attempt worked for 3 days and now when i try it doesnt work at all. can you please help me or give me some tips?
