However, as I've stated before, there is a deficit of gliss in the B-tone section. Two examples: listen to Stay Fly 02's version and then 08's, and to 97's Blood on The Dance Floor and 08's version. Listen directly for the gliss deficit. If you honestly believe it's still there as it was prior, then I just agree to disagree.

@smt9thward There was a lot of gliss'n in the B-Tone section all the way up till 03. The majority of the leaders of the section from 2000-2001 were from N.O. and passed that down to us. I don't hear it at all no more though.

@WMJaren28 You're assuming again. Let you tell it, every section in Juke has kept the exact same playing ability from Doc's inception at SU. This couldn't be further from the truth. The notes of the songs may be the same but the style and concepts definitely differ from year to year, thus I said what I said. It's obvious after listening to all years SU. My opinion coincides with this fact because it is truth. I'm not the only one that hears the difference.

This rambling was all you. I did ask you to state your claim and you did. I gave the nod to 05. But I'll give another nod to 06 since Redo and Lonzo were apart of that section. After 06, not so much. Heard 07 in the Chi when they came no gliss whatsoever.

However, as I've stated before, there is a deficit of gliss in the B-tone section. Two examples: listen to Stay Fly 02's version and then 08's, and to 97's Blood on The Dance Floor and 08's version. Listen directly for the gliss deficit. If you honestly believe it's still there as it was prior, then I just agree to disagree.

@smt9thward There was a lot of gliss'n in the B-Tone section all the way up till 03. The majority of the leaders of the section from 2000-2001 were from N.O. and passed that down to us. I don't hear it at all no more though.
