This is four years after "Nights on Broadway" was released in 1975. They had four years to perfect their live singing style on this tune. The tempo is actually slightly faster than the original "Nights on Broadway". They had definitely become far more comfortable doing live performances by this point and it shows with this performance which is one of their best live performances of "Nights on Broadway". I do like the original version with Maurice singing the "Falsetto" highs though.
i soooo wanted to marry barry gibb!!!! hmmm maybe i still do! lol. Bee Gees are awesome c'mon.... dont be afraid,,, ive been missing the funk in music these days!!! ok myabe not the tight satin pants.. but the funk for sure.
if i had that stage setup in my basement and my friends could come play guitar hero or rock band at my house.... i would HAVE TO buy the fog machine... and maybe a disco ball...
these guys!!! so awesome!!! love them! and to all the ladies like me that have always loved them, go check out a video called "to love somebody" from 1967 or 1968 look how young they were! and beautiful! and a great song that one....
In one of the spirit tour vids, I think it's one with Andy, Robin is dancing with his back to the camera. I just want to pinch that tosh! Omg!! I LOVE YOU ROBIN!!!!!!!!
i was watching this film with once again he was dancing in front of the camera and i didnt know what to look at his tosh or body.oh god i love robin so much.and so does my mum.i know that might sound weard but she does.but i love him more
I was ten when this concert tour happened. My older brother saw them at the Cow Palace in S.F. and to this day says it was the best concert ever. The music, light show and everything else. Never will there be another band like them!
O.K. I must admit these guys were great!!! Yes, 30 years ago I said that it was lame girl music...but, hey I was a lot younger then. I never thought I'd say it, but, The Bee Gees are (WERE) awesome!!!!

ROBXXXL: Hi. Are those x's in your id representative of the x that is your lame brain. It is no longer lame to you because now that you are old, YOU ARE lame as ever.
Hey, Satori1800. What's with the hostile comment? I'd Love for a prick like you to utter such a remark to my face...you cowardly prick. Have a nice life hiding behind your computer
i total agree with you robxxxl,, no need for unconstrutive comments like that,,,you only stated a fair veiw,, satori would not have the guts to call you a prick to you face because people like that are all mouth to begin with,,, now you giving him a good smack in the gob for his comments ,, would be well worth posting on you tube,, lets see who,s the prick then,,
thanks for this video i think they have said in interviews that this was a really hard song for them to sing, barry does look like he has to strain to sing. i really enjoyed watching these fantastic brothers. such talent
I think Barry just sang like he struggled. I believe this was quite easy for him to sing, considering that he can still vocally sing like this now, while his brothers couldn't even sing on key with this song in 1997. They struggled to sing a snipet of this song.
ME ENCANTAN AUN HOY 30 AÑOS DESPUES!!! GRANDES

Is Nights on Broadway about stalking. Well, I have to follow you, though you did not want me to. That won't stop my loving you, I can't stay away.

I absolutely love the Bee Gees and love a lot of their songs, but I think this song is my favorite one, or it's pretty close.

Now when Robin sing "well I had to follow you, though you did not want me to" he would get slapped with a restraining order for stalking someone.

You're interpretation is pretty spot on, the Bee Gees often wrote stalker influenced lyrics...Obsessions is another.

This is one of the best songs that the Bee Gees ever sang! It is quite tragic that we can no longer be blessed with their beautiful harmony.
