women can divorce her husband.
brother inherits because brother has to feed his family and her responsibility is on her husband and when islam gave inheritance to women in almost whole world there was none.
@JunaidKhan011 People who come to the West from Islamic countries & are Muslim are having their girls circumcised in my country & to do so is against the law. Some are frustrated and give up, if they have the money and want it bad enough, they go out of the country and have it done, some do it in Canada.
Hirsi Ali, you should have heard of her, had this done to her. She is not happy about it and yes, she was raised in Islam.
If Islam wants to be enlightened, they should teach it isn't healthy.

there are two ways in islam for muslim women to get divorce.
if she had added the condition in her marriage contract/nikkah nama then she can directly.
if not then she can get it through by applying to qazi or judge and in that case it would be khula and these rights were given to women 1400 years ago.
@courag1 it would have been sincere on her part to have criticised her culture but again these days these kinds of things/whining take you different place.

@courag1 see i didnt mean it hadnt been done to her but what i am saying it is not in islam.
i am muslim live in pakistan and it doesnt happen here for females not at all.
here you would find very few male gynocologists let alone female circumcision.
it may be in some arab or african culture but not all in islam.
and by means arab have so many different culture.
i can assure you she is lying when she connects it to islam
