  • In my personal opinion, canada's current government is a disgrace to democracy.

Democracy shouldn't have to be picking between separatists, Eco freaks and power hungry children

  • Vic Toews needs to be REMOVED from The Government of Canada (Permanently).

  • The only thing I dislike about the rants is the canned laughter. It really dampens the seriousness points.

  • @stenchinator What makes you think it's faked?

  • The Great Leader Stephen Harper :)

  • @asswipe71 You need to do a little more research on this issue, asswipe.

  • Too late RM how many Canadian news agencies including the CBC call the Canadian government "The Harper government"

  • @DjHardJ There's a difference between referring to it that way casually, and ordering public servants to do so on official papers.

  • @BoredomCorner Yeah that's messed up.

  • more of Harper power will bring hope and change to us just like Obama has brought to Americans.

  • "...kids today will be taught Stephen Harper does that, 'cause he's our leader" funny/sad/true

  • Someone should play this for Harper!

  • @erocicTheGreat They tried to say the same thing during the election; they were thrown out by the RCMP, and Harper's supporters cheered for them to be hanged.

  • "Much" like Colbert and Stewart, Rick too is a sneaky little snake.

Humour won't solve the problem. Those in power probably laugh harder than anybody else when Rick pretends to confront them on highly selected issues.

  • @Ellipser Hmm maybe. The way I see it, humor is accessible. It's about getting the word out there, awareness. And for us who care, it's a tiny balm on our indignations.

  • Rick sucks .... .

  • Next Harper will make it required to call it 'Harper's Canada'.

  • @JaytheOstrich seriously? We'd be lucky if he let us keep "Canada" part of the name... most likely it'll be something along the lines of "Harper's Land."

  • @JaytheOstrich I thought he'd just rename it "Harperland".

  • You guys are assuming that those people who did not vote would have voted against a Conservative government. Fact is by not voting their vote goes to the wining party by default.

Going by the idiotic comments here you would think the whole world would have voted against harper and the "few" people that did vote for him are people on the fringes of society who don't know anything. Use your brain children, that's just not what happend.

  • @TheKevin9000 Harper's a bully. He won by making fun of his opposition, not by putting forward a real platform.

  • @TheKevin9000 Harper was elected by only 24% of Canadians, and now has absolute power over us. You don't think that's a problem?

You don't think it's a problem that Harper is demonstrably corrupt and incompetent, and yet has managed to retain ANY support at all?

  • fuckin rick knows where all the graff spots are eh? what do you think he writes when the camera shuts off?

  • (Continued from the previous comment)

The only PMs that had over 50% of the population vote for them were:

    Mulroney (1984, 50.03%)

    Diefenbaker (1958, 53.66%)

William Lyon Mackenzie King (1940, 51.32%)

    Robert Borden (1917, 56.93%)

    Wilfrid Laurier (1904, 50.88%)

    Wilfrid Laurier (1900, 50.25)

So 3 Tories made it to over 50%, and 2 Liberals, but one of them made it twice.

So remember kids, the last PM to make it to over 50% was in 1984, and before that, it was 1958.

  • I'm not a Harper fan, but I always get really pissed every time I see people saying that Harper doesn't truly have a majority, since he doesn't have over 50% of Canada voting for him. It's strange, because last time I checked, Chrétien didn't have over 50% of the population voting for him, nor Trudeau. The last 2 PMs to have over 50% of the pop. vote for them were Mulroney (50.03%) and Diefenbaker (53.66%), both Tories.

I'm not a Tory, but come on people, don't be like that.

  • The majority of Canadians did not vote for Harpers current majority, in fact not even a majority of voters in the last election voted for him. It is sick that a guy who gets around 40% of the vote gets over 50% of the seats.

  • lol liberals be raging

  • well im not a fan of harper... hes out to make us into a christian america.

    but it doesnt matter imo

these people we vote for dont matter

these people are there just so we feel like we are in control of our lifes.

    democracy doesnt really exist.

its their cabinet that makes the real choices

and those people are placed there by large corporations.

those are the people who really run the world.

    if you dont believe me

    search Youtube for QUIGLEY FORMULA

  • @8Zeitgeist Could you explain to me how Harper is trying to make us a 'Christian America' ?

  • @JutzBuddy just wait he is only getting his gears rolling.

  • he always looks sooo cold lol

  • And now that it *is* actually the Harper Government, it's the Government of Canada again...

  • gilliandawe91 ... If he isn't pro-life why does he refuse to fund any of the aid organizations that support abortion helping out in third world countries (See Planned Parenthood).

  • Gotta LOVE all the whiners,lmao......Canadians spoke loud and clear on May2nd and you can cry in your lattes all you want you leftist crybabies, lol

  • @russfromdodge If by "loud and clear" you mean less than 40% of the voters, sure.

  • @capefeather 78% voted against the Liberals.80% voted against the NDP.Yep,LOUD AND CLEAR!!!

  • @russfromdodge way to miss the point with your fallacious argument

  • @capefeather Go back to your video games son and let the big people talk....How are things in Mom's basement?/

  • Well the election came and went, and it just upped the anti.

  • @canadathestrong And BTW it's "pretty improper" to support someone who hates democracy so much that his party tried to steal a ballot box, and he personally approved of the wrongful arrest/assault of a thousand peaceful protesters.

Yet you're doing that. You've forfeited any moral credibility, here.

  • @canadathestrong Only 24% of the population voted Conservative. Harper only got in because of vote splitting and apathy -- and believe me, his supporters couldn't care less that he's unpopular and corrupt.

  • @canadathestrong Furthermore, why do you think that ANYONE (much less a corrupt, law-breaking and incompetent tyrant like Harper) to have ABSOLUTE POWER OVER US when he was elected by only 24% of Canadians?

  • Comment removed

  • @ajmlkhsa Because the media and opposition don't order anyone to refer to it that way in official documents.

  • @canadathestrong I hate that it happened too; so why is it alright for Harper to do it, you fascist turd?

  • 15 people work for Stephen Harper.

  • @canadathestrong Was I talking to you? I'm not a liberal so the "mine" "yours" is silly. There is no party in Canada that accurately reflects my views on policy. Also the fallacy of it's been "broken for so long there's no need to fix it now" is no reason for me to cry, but it is getting high time to do something about it.

  • No we are safe in spite of harper opposing the bank regulations which softened the blow of the recession. Harper would have screwed us if he were in charge earlier, but that doesn't matter he still has time.

  • @rider4343 Harper is the only Prime Minister anywhere to be found in contempt of Parliament, for repeatedly lying to the country. He's also dug up record debt, on projects that are no good to us at all, is being investigated for war crimes, and oversaw the wrongful arrest of a thousand peaceful protesters.

If you honestly think that he's the best leader we had to pick from, you have no clue what you're talking about.

  • @BoredomCorner I'm actually baffled at how the Harper Cons won a majority government. That they did has me paying more attention to our process. The ability to get a majority government when the majority of Canadians did not vote for you is something that really needs our careful consideration.

  • Support the Anti-Harper Conservative Protests June 10th (Take the Capital; In Ottawa: Meet at Dundonald Park 4:30pm)

  • Mercer probably has blown Harper

  • @briankeitheinarson Leaving aside that Mercer clearly loathes Harper, you're 48 years old and that's the best thing you can come up with?

  • fuck harper. nuff said.

  • Study of fascism (check Mussolini), shows core Harper supporters fit that category. Of the 40%, how many core? We will see. How far will they go? - as far we we let them. 55% of Protestants who voted voted Harper (the Jewish % was a bit lower & Jews are only 1% of pop). So Harper re. Israel is Protestant fundamentalist. Fight racism whenever it puts up its head. neoCons esp. hateful toward Native people and Muslims. One Love!

  • Canadians are officially as stupid as americans. Sorry stupider than americans. We watched what Bush did and enough morons up here decided neo con tactics are the way to go. At least the states got rid of alot of this evangelical bullshit. Way to go dunbasses!

  • @TheBairdo *Dumbasses, Lol

  • Loooooove this. I am an Canadian...not Harperian. lol

  • @nicolebergeron92 LIke very, very many Canadians.....I am a Canadian and a Harperian.

You wish to join the club!

    Just an observation.

  • The Harper Government ... you can't let this crime against The Canadian Government fade. It in itself speaks volumes. Wake up Canadians!!!!! more prisons and harsher laws to ostensibly make cities safe is warning sign in lights!! With lessening crime statistics exactly who is it Harper intends to put IN those jails??? And he needs to define harsher laws ... having a different view and opinion, or questioning the "the Harper Govenrment"???????? Canadians MUST WAKE UP AND GROW BALLS!!!!!!!!

  • @LucasBenge Actually the recession destroyed our economy and Harper ended up helping our economy to be one of the best in the G7 after the recession.

  • @HybridDBela Um, that's why our economy has since sunk to the bottom of that list right? And why Harper denied we were even in a recession? And took credit for the CHRETIEN banking regulations that actually cushioned us?

  • In his novel '1984' George Orwell wrote that "Freedom is the freedom to say that 2+2=4". Harper asserts that it is 5. We are to agree or shut up.

Let no one say s/he wasn't given due warning of what the Conservatives are.

  • @kitabwalli

The problem with Conservative voters is that they vote regardless of what their party does. Harper's government found in contempt of parliament? No problem! Harper's government fucked up the economy to the point where a 13 billion surplus turned into a 40 billion budget deficit? Who cares; it doesn't matter!

Harper could be kicking kittens and raping puppies for all he cares; it'd make no difference. The people who vote for conservative parties don't care what their party does.

  • Perfect Rick! Keep up the good work. Maybe some day the message will get across.

  • FUCK harpers! enough said

    ]

  • Gov of Canada !

  • HAHAHA "..by North Korean standards"

  • FUCK STEPHEN HARPER!

  • So here's the plan, we get Harper the hell out, and give Layton and the NDP's a chance. At this point anyone is better then the Conservatives, but I think the NDP's would do a great job. Harper is beyond ridiculous. There's no way in hell that I'm letting him try and make Gay Marriage illegal again. I'm afraid of what he'll do if he gets a majority!

  • @gilliandawe91 yeah give us a chance can we really do any worst than harper?

  • @gilliandawe91 agreed bro, Harper is losing it. Layton would be one of the best prime ministes ever

  • @Jefkoz8899 : Layton? Are you fucking serious??? You better hope he (Layton) has a money tree because thats the only way he will be able to pay for his election promises.

  • @auggiedoggy It's better than Harper's record.

  • @BoredomCorner : Really? Well fortunately Layton and his kids won't form the government. The NDP would spend, spend, spend and raise taxes to pay for it all. Harper's record? Oh, you mean Harper’s policies got us through the world economic crisis in great shape compared to most other countries in the world (we are the envy of the G20). You Conservative-bashing fucktard parrots don't seem to mention that inconvenient (to you) little fact.

  • @auggiedoggy well so far harper has been spend spend spend bigger government I know he said he wasn't going to do that but .Gas at an all time high, whatever took a surplus and turned in into a 40 billion $ hole for us to dig our way out of.We are not the envy of the G20 cause of a fuck tard like Harper of his "policies"The only reason the leaders of the g20 would envy Harper is the way he controlled protesters like a dictator.you dont mention that inconvenient little fact.

  • @alltiedup217 : Spoken like a true Liberal.

  • @auggiedoggy is that the only come back you conservatrds have?that or call someone a "commie"lol

  • @gilliandawe91 If he even tries to makes gay marriage and abortion illegal, he will be kicked out of office. He knows this. Canadians have spoken.

  • @lightdark99 Kicked him out? Drag him out slowly so everyone can see his reactions when he realizes that he is just a man and nothing more.

  • @gilliandawe91 Actually, give him a majority and he's less likely to be on his guard.

  • @gilliandawe91 Thank goodness we have Mr. Harper in a majority!

Canadians are so proud of Mr. Harper. Jack Laydown of the Nude Democratic Party?

Let him go back to the Velvet Touch.

    Hope I clarified things!

  • @gilliandawe91 " NDP's would do a great job."......at turning a democracy into communism. gay marriage should be illegal too.

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx I'm assuming by communism you mean socialism, they're the complete opposite, but good try though. As for "gay marriage should be illegal too", then why are you watching RMR? He's quite gay you know. Other then that, I'm going to try not to have a discussion with someone who is obviously extremely ignorant.

  • @gilliandawe91 just becuase your gay doesnt mean you cant be funny, socialism breads communism. dont vote for the ndp unless you want 3 quarters of your paycheck taken to help drug attics legally inject drugs in a governemnt funded building and other stupid stuff like that.

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx I'm not gay.. I'm completely straight, I just don't believe in suppressing other people because of who they are. Socialism doesn't breed communism, please give me an example of when this has ever happened. If you've listened to anything the NDP have said, thats not their plan at all. There is a HUGE difference between the legalization of marijuana and injecting drugs. You are truly close-minded, you need to broaden your research big time.

  • @gilliandawe91 communism evolved from socialism, only difference between the two is in communism goods are dirtibuted according to need, and socialsim is based on effort. the ndp want to tax the shit out of everyone so that people who cant help themselves get hard working peoples money, you should get what you earn, not just be able to get a drug addiction and then the gov feels sorry for you, and then they take hard WORKing peoples money so that you can have more drugs, its completley stupid.

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx Jesus was socialist too.

And though I'm not an NDP fan, I am aware -- from this dreadful thing called READING -- that they only want to tax the super rich, who presently pay next to nothing.

Where the hell do you get off accusing every single working-poor person of being a major drug addict?

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx Do some research, not only is it nowhere near that much that the NDP would tax from common Canadians, but those safe injection sites save a lot more lives than Harper's approach has.

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx The NDP isn't communist -- and why should gay marriage be illegal? I know the HarperCons have a hard time grasping this, but we shouldn't be trying to be like Iran.

  • @gilliandawe91

WOW you need help ......The NDP thinks money grows on tree's

  • @Szowski Actually it's the Conservatives who spend like drunken sailors. The NDP are average with finances, and the Libs are the best overall. Look it up, that's historical fact.

  • @gilliandawe91 Look how much changes in 5 months

  • @gilliandawe91 You are really out of touch if you think Harper is going to make Gay Marriage illegal again. I mean do you pay attention to anything? Rick rants about a naming policy and you out of touch morons go beyond and bring gay marriage and abortion into it. BTW I am one of those who voted him into his majority and I know he won't touch those issues. I mean he even said he wouldn't touch them and you still think he will.

  • @TheKevin9000 First of all, I'm not an out of touch moron. I'm full aware of the fact that he won't be able to change those issues because Canadians wouldn't allow that to happen. BUT I don't feel comfortable having a Prime Minister who is against the things that I believe in. When I COMPLETELY disagree with them. But thats only one of dozens of reasons why I think that Harper is a horrible Prime Minister, and he will never have my vote.

  • @gilliandawe91 Your an idiot. First of all Harper is not pro-life and he is not anti-gay. If you think he is then your an out of touch moron. That is his OFFICIAL stance as a politician, its also why he said he wouldn't change those issues, not because the Canadian public wont let him. The Canadian public voted him in to a majority government. Maybe you don't like certain things about him but the MAJORITY of Canada does. So cry more, only the minority is listening.

  • @TheKevin9000 I'm not an idiot, actually. He is pro-life and he is anti-gay. If he didn't feel that way how could he make it is stance as a politician. Plus, even if you are right about that, its yet another reason for me to dislike him; he'd be a hypocrite. Finally, the MAJORITY of the Canadian public did not vote him into a majority government. The majority voted against him. Please do more research before attacking my political views.

  • Awesome again Rick I <3 U

  • @viper10011 How about putting that money to victims and restorative justice along with more preventive measures rather than more prisons which the Americans find they can longer afford. How can we afford to impose such polices and cut more taxes and spend billions we don't have without straining the public purse? And what do you do with those falsely convicted? There's jack squat about what to do with those who are victims of faulty evidence and wrongful convictions.

  • It's the opposition parties that call it the Harper government, not Harper...obviously Rick doesn't pay attention to Canadian politics, but likes to have his opinion on it.

  • @jessiejoyfish That's a reference to the workings of his party, but federal communications are signed as the Gov. of Canada, like commercials and so forth. Google "Tories rebrand ‘Government of Canada’ as ‘Harper Government’"

  • Harper and his entire troop of Cons are a bunch of pricks. My MP can't even be bothered to talk to his constituents.

I hope the religious morons who vote con just because get their heads out of their asses.

  • does that make the armed forces The Harper Army?

  • H.A.R.P O.U.T !!

  • I have no problem with Harper's Government. What he's doing doesn't represent me in the least. It's our Bush Administration. If I were an American I'd be a Democrat, and I wouldn't say what they did then "The American Government's" doing. You know?

Seriously though, I don't understand how people are following this guy when he's so obviously destroying Canada. Ignatieff isn't ideal, but dude, at least he wouldn't be actively destroying the country and its international relations. Seriously.

  • @artemfb but at least he wouldnt be spending 1 billion tax payer dollars in a 72 hour event. And Harper has got us in the biggest debt of our countries history, 13 billion dollars. And Harper wants more harsh laws and regulations, and he wants to build more prisons. He is G.W. Bush of Canada. He has ruined our country and has not helped it in any way. He also says he got us out of a "recession" but Canada never really had that big of a recession to get out of. SO FUCK YOU HARPER YOU SCUMBAG!

  • @LucasBenge This is just an inarticulate ad hominem attack on things you have no understanding of. You must be lucky if you think Canada didn't have an economic recession. I'm sure that same ignorance is what makes you focus more on American politics instead of what goes on in your own country and who your own populations are or what they even support.

  • @artemfb ignatieef would destroy the country, becuase he has no polocies and stands for nnothing, all he wanted is power, and he would of got it, nothing would have got done, and we would of just dug ourselves a deeper hole economically.

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx Harper stands for dismantling this country, destroying the middle class, abandoning the poor, and stomping on anyone who disagrees with him. In case you haven't noticed, Harper's already dug us into record debt, almost entirely on his own.

  • @BoredomCorner I was just using the drug injecion clinic as a example of wasting money, "and stomping on anyone who disagrees with him" < your the one who blocked me from your vid when I questioned you. and you and I both know that if it had been the ndp or liberals in charge during the recession we ould be in triple the deficit becuase they wuldnt have slashed anything and would have taxed, already struggling, Canadians even more, the recession was un avoidable, it was a GLOBAL recession.

  • @zazszdzfzgzhzjzkzlzx You're ignoring the fact that conservatives were originally unwilling to admit that there was a recession and were instead projecting 5 straight years of growth. 2008 leader's debate... wow, people have short memories.

You also seem unwilling to admit (or maybe you were just unaware) that this Conservative government placed us in a structural deficit before the global collapse of the economy. Taxes may suck, but they are necessary, constantly cutting them will not help..

  • FUCK HARPER!!!!!!!!!!!! fuck constervative

  • YOU TELL 'em RICK!!!

  • And I'm left wondering who the halfwits are who disliked this...

  • @andreya133 harper and his 9 trolls

  • @andreya133 it was harper and his 9 trolls

  • better to be called harper land than micheal ignatieff land.

  • @viper10011 Try me again when Ignatieff shows that he'll do that.

I'd rather be a Canadian than a Harperite.

  • @BoredomCorner his coliltion cough cough.

  • @viper10011 Now's who fear-mongering?

  • @3baxcb well it's true.

  • @viper10011 Where is that true? I recall Harper considered such a coalition in all but name with Duceppe and Layton when Paul Martin was Prime Minister. A bit convenient that he now cries that any political agreements with other parties are wrong which frankly isn't true. He makes such fear-mongering so he can get people like you to believe that the nation would collapse if he never gets a majority. I say tough. Our system of government doesn't depend on one man but cooperation with others.

  • @3baxcb well I say they all formed a colilition because they would have never been able to succed in that non-confidence vote it they didn't. And who cares what he did in the past if you don't remember that 100,000,000 dollar stimulus the liberals sent to quebec thats why he tried to take them down because there thieves!

  • @viper10011 Actually I remember the Gomery Inquiry. As for thieves, can you prove it? How about the Action Plan that gives no details about how that money is spent? And what do you say about spending public money on advertising for something that was officially over three months ago? Would that be a bit dishonest or is it ok when Tories do it?

  • @3baxcb actually some things in the action plan are still going on one example is harbor repairs however your right most of the action plan is over. If you wan't to know how your money is being spend to go the website. However apparently the action plan saved 400,000 jobs and created 260,000 pretty dam good I would say. As for the thieves part didn't some liberals get arrested and charged if my memory is correct?

  • @viper10011 Yeah like two, who weren't very big in the gov't. How about the lack of accountability happening now? As for the job numbers, they'll say anything to make up for the biggest deficit in history and over the top spending on fighter jets and prisons when at the same time cutting more taxes. Tax cut and spend and something's gotta give which I doubt Harper will take any responsibility for so he's more of a fraud than ethical and accountable.

  • @3baxcb where not purchusing those fighter jets untill 2016 for starters. And Harper says he has a 5 year plan to pay off the deficiet. Plus canadian prisions are to overcrowded so they need to build new ones hes just building private ones because there cheaper than government ones. The only other way to limit the amount of people in jail would be to legalize marawana which I would actually support however no party will ever do it anyway!

  • @viper10011 Ha ha ha! Five years to buy F-35s? It doesn't take a genius to see that they'll be outdated by then and they already have a lot of problems. Might as well stick with the current crop of fighters we have. Either Harper is dense about military spending or deliberately buying overpriced fighter jets that experts say have a lot of problems. And prisons? Crime rate is down and don't even start on the joke that is unreported crime (like how the hell you know if it's not reported?).

  • @3baxcb uuuuuuuuu if the f-18 was used in the 80's and where still using it today then it's been in service for 30 years and where finally replacing it so your claiming if we wait 5 years it will be outdated thats bullshit. Second yes crime is down in areas of property crime and demestic violence. However gang crime and drug crime is threw the roof so we need more prisions to put those people in so harpers building private prisions because there cheaper!

  • @viper10011 Actually many defence experts point out that the F-35 has many problems along with being overpriced. And private prisons are cheaper? Who will run those private prisons then if not the government? If you mean businesses then all they care about is making money, not justice or rehabilitating those in prison. Americans tried that themselves and it hasn't brought crime down, it's straining their justice system. Do you really want that?

  • @3baxcb it didnt work in america because they brought in the three stricks your out law in california. However if we don't bring that law into effect in canada then by all meens im for it. Eather that or legalize marawana. Second yes defence experts say each plane will cost 200 million instead of 190 million. However the f-35 is the best fighter aircraft in the world thats where it is rated its the best plane we can buy. Plus if you ask me if you buy cheap you buy twice.

  • @viper10011 But the government is buying a very expensive fighter jet which has been criticized for having a lot of problems. Not to mention the costs just to keep them running up to date. Paying a lot for a fighter doesn't mean it's a good fighter. As for prisons, where is the money going to come from when we're in deficit? And what chance do you see Harper legalize such a drug? He'd lock you up for 20 years if he thought it can get your vote beforehand.

  • @3baxcb my point is I know harper won't legalize it but neather will ignatieff so what I am saying is eather fight the drug war or end it but don't dilly dotal around and waist my time and money. Plus there may be problems with that fighter but theres problems with every fighter and we have to replace the ones we have by 2020 there going to be 40 years old they need to be replaced. And according to the experts the f-35 is the best plane to do that with.

  • @viper10011 plus some of our scientists helped design the f-35 so that meens we can build some of the parts in canada and give the canadians the jobs not the americans.

  • @viper10011 Deal with what? Technology has almost made the fighter craft out-of-date. One RPG or surface-to-air missile and that's 148 million dollars falling out of the sky. There's returning injured soldiers who get less attention than the ones killed in action and Pat Stogran was fired by Harper's govt for standing up for them. As for a drug war, is it logical to use policies including more prisons when the Americans have noted it as a major failure?

  • @3baxcb You weren't listening it failed in america because in california they implemented the three stricks your out law. Plus one rpg dude you obviaslty haven't done any research the f-35 can't be detected by head seaking missels or radar and theres no way you could hit it with ground fire when its flying at 10,000 feet.

  • @viper10011 In California they also had more prisons with mandatory sentences, then they put it up another notch and led to the three strikes law. Now their whole justice system is very strained as a result. What assurances are there that it won't escalate to that? As for the F-35, it only has one engine. Two engines are used in case one fails. What happens to the F-35 if that engine fails?

  • @3baxcb if the engine fails I say eject however it's top of the line tecnology it probably won't fail at least if you ask peter mckay plus thats what the canadian forces voted for the army want's that fighter I say give it to them there due for something new. Plus I think harpers a smart man he won't let the three stricks your out law come to canada I hope anyway. But the fact remains we need to build more prisions so we can eather spend more money on government run ones our buy .

  • @viper10011 the cheaper private ones.

  • @viper10011 Smart enough to play on people's fears by exaggerating about crime and such. Too bad we're in deficit so where will that money come from if taxes won't be going up or essential services cut? As for McKay, he lied to Progressive Conservatives that he wouldn't join the Canadian Alliance under Harper, so he supposedly truthful now?

  • @3baxcb your never gunna give up are you like I said before yes crime is down however gang crime and crime that involves locking up people in jail is up! Because of this our prisions are overcrowded and we need more, so harper is building the chepest ones he can to save money get it get it! As for social services I say we need to cut some of them except universal health care and maybe welfare but thats it. I live in the west and I am tired of giving money to quebec and ontario.

  • @viper10011 I don't give up because I don't see things as province against province. You never know much we take social services for granted until you really need them. As for cheapest prisons, that is not in any way rational...or good for public safety. Our crime rates are far lower than the United States, so overspending on unnecessary facilities is less necessary than preventive measures and rehabilitation programs that will stop crime at the roots. Smart on crime is better.

  • @viper10011 About 15 years ago you were BEGGING for Ontario's money so I would keep a lid on it Viper.

  • @redwolf2k you werne't begging for albertas money

  • @viper10011 It's spelled coalition genius.

  • Your fired Mr . Harper . If you would like to submit a resume at tax payers expense please do .

  • What kind of ego? A very big ego and a case of megalomania which should be an issue in this coming election. Otherwise it adds more disillusionment regarding our political system which does not exist just for one man.

Kinda like to wonder what would happen if the head of the Harper Government suddenly dropped dead of a heart attack or got thrown off the all-terrain vehicle and head first into a tree. Would our nation collapse without one leader? I think not.

  • Escort the SOB out!!

  • @Danhra, @Jaziem Want to report Southpark for harassment?

  • @BoredomCorner lol go ahead nigger.

  • @BoredomCorner lol Conservative Majority, u mad?

  • @Southparker100000000 Where did I say I wanted a Conservative majority? In case you haven't noticed, Harper's people want to kill people like me. I'm a lower-case liberal who takes ethics and obeying the law very seriously (plus I'm non-Christian and support gay rights). I'm not exactly on their buddy lists.

  • @BoredomCorner Being a bit dramatic aren't we? Harper likes the gays. And he hasn't once claimed he was going to ethnically cleanse anybody like some kind of Hitler wannabe. You're just being silly. :\

  • Just vote this idiot out on May 2nd 2011.

  • ricks rants need their own channel

  • @Southparker100000000 Oh and BTW I'm white, so calling me "nigger" just makes you look like an idiot -- again.

  • @Southparker100000000 Irish people aren't a race? How the fuck do you figure?

And learn some history: "nigger" is a SLUR used against black people.

  • @BoredomCorner the irish are a nationality, just like canadians and the english... they may like to think otherwise but they're wrong.

  • @fuckqnamenotavail Putting down nationalities is the same thing as racism.
