you need to get fresh, raw milk from local producers that is straight out of the udder to the bottle with nothing done to it, i am lucky enough to have a local farmer that sells "Illegal" raw milk. i drank so much reg milk in my life, after switching to raw milk for a while i tried some reg milk and got soo sick, i got cramps and gas and felt poisoned

Reggieworth, what's more, there's an enzyme lactase, still _alive_ in raw unpasteurized milk, which assists in digestion of lactose; enzymes are generally beneficial for digestion and mineral/vitamin absorption in the first place. Lack thereof (of living ones) can lead to intolerance of milk, indigestion, all that good stuff.

No antibiotic residue is ever allowed in any milk sold for humans in the US. The milk supply is very safe and clean. Milk is checked at the farm, and at the creamery. No antibiotics are ever allowed. If any antibiotic residue is ever found the milk is dumped and the farmer is liable for th cost of the milk. All dairy farmers carry insurance in case there is an accidental milking. NO ANTIBIOTICS are ever allowed into the milk supply EVER

Actually milk straight from the cow has a creamy yellow color due to the carotene content Goats milk is pure white as they utilize all the carotene and don't secrete it into their milk

The reason I ask is, I drank ALOT of milk on a regular basis, practically ALL MY LIFE (just began buying organic about 2 years ago), but gave birth to my ONLY child in '94...btw, THANK GOD, he was born w/lactose intolerance, then later on, ALWAYS refused to drink his milk!!!
