Greg has returned to The Wiggles as of Jan.18th 2012 and has reclaimed HIS yellow skivvy. They will go into the studio next to begin writing new songs and plan new CDS and DVDS. An Australian tour will begin in mid March, with tours in England and the U.S. to follow later this year. sam is no longer with the Wiggles organization in any capacity.

What they have done since is write better songs. Nothing was wrong with Greg, but he simply is not as good as Sam. He is the original voice of the Wiggles and you can not take that away from him.

Well, there was a rumor going around here last year that our Six Flags (in Illinois) was not going to open up this year due to financial issues. Next thing I know, they have pulled the Wiggles, which many kids adored. I did a little research online and found out that it is not just the Wiggles that they pulled, but other liscensed entertainment venues like Thomas the Tank Engine. According to a Six Flags website I found, people were saying that Six Flags no longer could pay lisencing fee.

@4thebeast4 RIDICULOUS! moran is a hack who's full of himself. A Sydney paper recently called Greg "the King of the Kids." With him The Wiggles were the world's #1 children's group & Australia's top earning entertainers. Guess what? That's no longer true. They earned $55 million in 06 & have lost $22 million in revenue over the last 4 years. Disney & 6 Flags dumped them. They play smaller venues & attendance is down. The 3 big yearly U.S. tours are down to 1 a year. YOU need to suck it up.

Greg needed to step back & handed everything over HE had earned to sam - who would never have been heard from if this hadn't happened. If sam's so great, why didn't he try for a successful solo career of his own? I think he preferred to wait as Greg got sicker since he thought he had a chance at his job.

@simmerandburn He did some voice studies, but never completed the program & never sang opera professionally. How does that make him an accomplished opera singer? Did you see Greg's 13 Carols IN The Domain performances? You still haven't explained why he didn't have the guts to go for a solo career. If he's so great it would have been a natural move. Better than being in the background occasionally. You're telling he didn't see Greg getting sicker? Didn't wait for the job? Don't be delusional.

@radiologytechgirl And yet he's STILL better than Greg. You know what I see when I watch Greg?  A guy who has one performance mode: big fake smile. And one type of singing: smooth, phony sweet. Sam has more range and is by far the better performer. Funny thing is, I never had a particular problem with Greg (though I didn't start liking the Wiggles until Sam came along), but now I can't stand Greg, because of all the people like you bashing Sam.

He can sing circles around Greg. SAM IS BETTER!!! Period, but really who cares as long as little kids are happy when they watch the Wiggles.

Greg is a founder & played a significant part in the songwriting. He was their voice for 16 yrs & would still be there as he is SO WELL LOVED & losing him was never a thing they envisioned. Up to 06 they earned 17 gold, 12 platinum, 3 double platinum, & 10 multi platinum records. What have they earned since? Greg has THE voice, charisma & talent.

@radiologytechgirl 6 Flags not only dropped th Wiggles but other acts they could not afford because the theme park was going out of business...not because of Greg or Sam. The Wiggles left Disney because they were not happy with the terms. Also, they are performing less because things change, Jeff is 60 years old, Murray is well in his 50's. None of the issues you bring up are because of Sam. You like Greg that is great but don't bash Sam his fans or the Wiggles because you like Greg.

Screamscape reports that Six Flags will remove the Wiggles World theme added in 2007 & 2008 to five parks: Six Flags Great Adventure (New Jersey), Six Flags Great America (Illinois), Six Flags New England, Great Escape (New York) & Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The Wiggles World theme, based on "The Wiggles" children's television program, has already been stripped from five Fiesta Texas rides, according to the park's website. Also reported on IAAPA website 11/5/10.

This song is soooo good! The Wiggles do not write all of their songs and I am wondering if this one was written by someone else. Whoever wrote it did a fantastic job. It really sounds like a hit from the 1960s or maybe a Blondie song from the early 1970s.

Speaking of who writes their songs, is Greg still writing for them? I know he retired from performing, but maybe a still composes music for them.
