I would guess this is based on Pokemon Dungeon the gameplay, maybe, idk any other games like this style.

There's an entire series of "Mystery Dungeon" games (Shiiren the Wanderer, Chocobo's Dungeon, Izuna, Pokemon MD, Nightmare of Druaga, and many more) that are roguelikes specifically with this style of play and map design, etc etc. This isn't even the first Touhou roguelike (As far as I know, that goes to Momiji's Mysterious Cave or whatever it's called)
