Oh yes... Meezers are crazy nosy! I have a twenty year old applehead siamese and she is insane. I can't sit on the damn toilet without her jumping on my lap and sticking her nose in my face and I can't sleep without her laying on me. Lay BESIDE me? ROFL yeah right. She likes to play with icecubes in her waterbowl, too.

My two cats follow me anytime I go into the bathroom, they're brother and sister, both partially Siamese. Maybe it's a breed thing. My female cat, Precious, also plays in her water dish and spills water everywhere...
my siamese cats do the same thing but recently one of them has tired to get into the water as well so now i lock them out and they sit at the door meowing and scrating the door
once i tried to give my siamese a bath when it fell in the mud after it ran out of the house and i jst put em in the warm water and he made this crazy shriek and made a 5 ft jump out of the bathtub
My Siamese Burmese mix Asami used to do the same thing...with the shower, bath tub and the bathroom sink. Could not turn the water on without her pacing outside the shower door until I opened it, and she would pace the edge of the tub and periodically taste the water. And I had to shave and brush my teeth in the shower, because she would climb into the sink if the water was turned on. Must be a Siamese trait.
My Siamese, Spike, would climb right in with me and cuddle up on my abs. And my black, 1/2 Siamese would sit on the edge and expect to be petted with a wet hand to a full soak.
.....right along with me whenever she has the opportunity! I have always been told that cats hate water! Why is it that every cat that has owned me insists on joining me in every aspect of life, including bathing? First Ladytramp, and now Momo! It does seem rather odd, though I do enjoy having my washing buddy every morning! Momo is so sweet! every time she gazes at me, her eyes shine with so much love. She would follow me to the bus stop, would be there waiting once I returned, would follow me to the mail box, would chase after me on my bike, and had to be wherever I was 24/7. @Camberae Just wait until he learns how to open doors! My current cat and best friend Momo has learned how to open doors in order to accompany me when I am on the toilet while guests are over. I now have to make sure that the door is locked, otherwise she will jiggle the door handle, and then pop goes the door!

She immediately said "that's a sign of diabetes". Sure enough she was right. I hope your kittie isn't diabetic. It is horribly painful for the cat so please, do yourself & your cat a favor & take him/her in to be checked. Proper & timely treatment can save you & the cat a lot of pain & heartache. Good luck!

Oh my Siamese are so paws on, mine does not get near the tub but I have had to put child locks on the cabinets as she does like to get into them. Oh and when she wants to go to bed she has figured out how to turn the tv off!

My other cat behaves just like a siamese cat - she's very affected to me, "talks" a lot and can really express herself. I don't have a bath tub, but everytime when I'm in shover she keeps watching me, and after the shower she meows a LOT! It sound like she'd be worried of me for taking the shower or something XP

Had a bulldog who would sit and "urrrr" at me till I'd give her bath water to drink. Our Siamese, Sadie Sue Hairbeast, hates water, and screams about her rare baths.
Well, my daughter named her "Sadie" to give her an old-fahioned name; I added :"Sue" to make her real old-fashioned, and the "hairbeast" came from her penchant to fight with the Scotty terrior, "Bailey the Brave"; and how evil she was scratching everyone with her claws. She would hang off the bulldogs jowls and claw up her neck, the evil cat!
I love this breed of siamese...I had one for 15 years, and he died last summer. I was heartbroken. CB would stare at the shower and fuss at me until I ran some water onto the shower floor so he could drink lol. Siamese are the best cats in the world.

Siamese cats are so cool! They are each one of a kind each has strange little quirky things it does just like this cutie. One of my two plays fetch with hair ties or those jelly bracelets the other will sit right behind me in my office chair I mean in the seat between me and the back of the chair. And yes they talk ALOT and LOUD, but I love it ;}

My tho siamese cats (thai) are afraid of water ... and if I am in the tub they stay near me as they are afraid I won't survice I guess.
When I get out ot the tub they will leave the bathroom and go their way ... all's well she survived ;)

he is the spitting image of my cat bogart who died about 7 years ago. he was very very old but he always seemed to know what mood i was in and was so so friendly, i love siamese, burmese tonkinese cats.

Had a bulldog who would sit and "urrrr" at me till I'd give her bath water to drink. Our Siamese, Sadie Sue Hairbeast, hates water, and screams about her rare baths.

Well, my daughter named her "Sadie" to give her an old-fahioned name; I added :"Sue" to make her real old-fashioned, and the "hairbeast" came from her penchant to fight with the Scotty terrior, "Bailey the Brave"; and how evil she was scratching everyone with her claws. She would hang off the bulldogs jowls and claw up her neck, the evil cat!

My Tonk would do the same thing! He'd try to walk around the tub on the edge, or even sit on me if my tummy was only partially submerged.

As far as I know, siamese cats are very social and loyal cats to their owner, and they tend to become affected to one person.
So it's no wonder if Chester's curious of your bath, if (s)he has chosen you as companion.

I love this breed of siamese...I had one for 15 years, and he died last summer. I was heartbroken. CB would stare at the shower and fuss at me until I ran some water onto the shower floor so he could drink lol. Siamese are the best cats in the world.

My Siamese gets in the shower with me! He loves water and he doesn't move when I give him a bath. Siamese are so sweet!

my siamese cat freaks at water, if you take her into the bathroom she shrieks her head off! But my burmese cats, one of them GETS IN the bath, one drinks out of it and the toilet.

My siamese hops on top of my 150 gallon fish tank and puts his paw in the water the same exact way. He dosnt like getting wet but he likes playing with it with his paws. Weird ass cat, ha ha

my siamese cat scratched me realy good today={ it hurts it happends twice when i picked him up. i always pick him up i dont know why he fliped out and scrathed me. can any one help? reply if so

Monky1456, dilute some chlorine in water, and wash the wounds while spreading them, and you should be good to go :) Same with bites.
To avoid attacks:
-be calm, make sure the cat is aware of your presence before picking up.
-"don't awake a sleeping cat" is a proverb in french.
-When ears are backward, back off: it's in defense mode.
-It can have an infection or wound from the outdoors, hence the pain and hostility when you pick it up.
-Last and not least, cats use drugs.

Siamese cats are so cool! They are each one of a kind each has strange little quirky things it does just like this cutie. One of my two plays fetch with hair ties or those jelly bracelets the other will sit right behind me in my office chair I mean in the seat between me and the back of the chair. And yes they talk ALOT and LOUD, but I love it ;}

My cat looks just like yours, same coloring but he is a mix. He plays with water in the bathroom bowl. He will also sit outside the shower and chatter until I come out. They are a lot of fun.

That's cute, before he dipped his paws in he just looked at you like "You's can swim in giant water bowl if you wants, I's gonna just get a few sips, k?". I also think it's cute how he stopped to look up at you every once in a while (I guess to make sure you're not drowning or something XD), very smart kitty!

Funny story;
When I was a little kid I got a kitten for my 6th birthday. He was a Siamese and i named him balto. One time I was chasing him around the house and he ran into the bathroom and jumped into the tub..
Little did he know my mom was running the water for a bath!

I have 2 siamese that do that when I take showers. They both sit on either side of the tub and leave when I turn the water off.
