  • I just gotta go see this...when is it coming out?!!

  • @angelzr umm it came out 58 years ago..

  • @Sassy5511 -BUT it's sportin' that new tech 3-D!!!

  • GAGA SUCKS

  • God I love those subtitles

  • i saw this movie as a little kid in the 1970's.i thought the movie was great and fun to watch.i have the whole collection on dvd and it's really cool to watch them over and over again. the creature's theme song always scared me when i was a kid.richard carlson was like the go to guy for all these great sci fi films of the 50's and whit bissell was one of my favorite character actors.he was always good in westerns.

  • Great horror for the day.

  • Love This Trailer!

I just spent a great deal of time with all three of these movies turning them to MULTI-DUO-TONE COLORIZATION.

Plus Remastered sound into Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo sound and LETTERBOX.

But the multi coloring is AMAZING. Universal Horrors are all next. They are now brought to life in an amazing way. I'm loving them, I'll still keep my Black & White but it's great to have both now.

  • Why isn't my Papaw Cliff Poland given any credit for developing the 3-D filming procedures under water for this movie?

  • wow i am not the onlyone that came because of Gaga PAWS UP

  • Thumbs up if you dont give a shit about Gaga, and only want the film.

  • GaGa said it's her fave movie and it's coz she is the monster inside that lagoon!

  • Thumbs up if you came here Before anyone knew who Lady Gaga was.

  • 1:52

They were standing right there and they couldn't see that ??

  • u know eventhough its like a ancient movie its actualy pretty good

  • Where does Gaga say that this is her favorite horror movie?

  • Minor point but I have to say. The fact that the lung fish hasn't changed in millions o years doesn't make it a failure. It makes it an evolutionary success story like the crocodile. It hasn't changed because it is adaptable enough to survive any adversity within its environment.

  • I missed this movie so much. This I when movies where movies.

  • @inyourface48

Back in the day when movies depended on acting and not special effects.

  • its lady gaga's favorite horror movie because she is in it

  • lol he eats women HES A WOMEN EATER LOOKOUT!! GAGA!!

  • what would the creature do to people?

  • 'In Amazing3 Dimension!'

  • now THATS how they should advertise movies today! lol. but this movie truly is a classic. i mean honestly, its what pretty much started the genre of horror in the water for movies. then came jaws.... which made us ALL terrified to even LOOK at water. lol

  • What a great, great movie. Scary and cool at the same time.

  • The Creature is my favorite of the Universal Monsters

  • dun DUN DUUUUUN!!!!!

  • the creature is lovely

  • GO CREATURE!!!!

  • This Is Filmed In 1953

  • Long Live Universal!!!!

  • FTW

  • OMG!

  • LOL

  • BOO!!!!

  • Happy Halloween!!!!

  • Screw all these new vampire books and movies. Give me movies and books on Creature from the Black Lagoon!

  • Classic horror!

  • @TheMoviedude2012 Scary, Huh?

  • FACEPALM OF DOOOOOOM!!!

  • love these types of movies. As we call them in swedish "lökiga filmer" (onionish movies)

  • Comment removed

  • @Cropsy25 same thing I did only it's upside down, when I saw your comment I was like "who the hell is lady gaga?" made me look up the name XD been to detached from the mainstream I don't know who's who!

  • "Even to the man beast, from the dawn of time"

  • avatar sucks !

  • that guy who died at 0:28 looks like the leprechaun from the skittles commercial

  • Wanna See This coz of Gaga <3

  • GaGa Brought Me Here!!

  • If some 3D movies nowadays sucks with the effects, imagine in this period...

  • 3 dimension??????hahahhahahahahahahah xDD

  • i'm gonna watch this movie only because it's gaga fav <3

  • wow it must have been scary first when it came out xD but gaga mmusnt have seen many new horror movies xD

  • Thumbs up if u went to this after gaga said this was her fav horror movie!!

  • ahaha this is lady gaga's favorite horror movie lmfao

  • I gotta watch this movie! I saw Psycho and it was great! :DD

  • GAGA'S favorite horror movie

  • @TheBrightmanFan Gaga can suck a fat dick. She's probably never seen the movie.

  • Wow im scared.....-.-

  • My movie Try To Survive is opening for this film at a upcoming film fest.

The actor who played the creature is also going to be there.

  • LAGOONA'S DADDY!!!!!

  • marylin felt sorry for the creature

  • recently i've watched one old movie from 1937,and my stereotypes about old films were absolutely broken ! :)

  • How is it possible that special effects from the 50's are better than today?

  • this was my resident evil back in the day. rofl

  • there's a remake of this imdb title/tt0436200/

but it's comedy and gay. :(

  • old horror movies are so funny , lol

  • :13 he just wants a hug

  • Even monsters love white women.

  • they should remake this that would e epic

  • @bringjakethehorizon1 THEY R THIS YEAR 2011 :D

  • ok "Deep Deep Deep" doesn't seem right at all

  • people can bag out 50s films all they like but i much prefer seeing the creature created and played by a real actor than some cgi crap

  • hahahahaha "DEEP DEEP DEEP!" :DD

  • the movie is better than the trailer....now days the trailer is always better than the movie :/

  • this is somehow anti-komunist propaganda. i don'tknow how, but it says so in my history book...

  • that was the year godzilla was born o_O

  • you know what i really hate is how theres know one at my school but me who knows a lot about old monster movies, i'm also the only one who talks about them and every time when i would get a book about a classic monster movie kids would point at the book and say thats fake i would say know shit dumb ass and they would also say really id say its what i like not you and i say old movies to me are better than the new movies besides jurassic park and godzilla.

  • It's true when it is said the underwater photography is the greatest. I still find the underwater scenes in this movie to be my favorite. Feels so incredible to just stare at all the features of the underwater world.

  • SO PHONY BUT SO AWESSSOOOMMMMEEEE!!!!!!!!

  • Will the Sea Beast return from his watery grave from chapter 13 of The Maggit Sleeps? Will He make to the Chink take out shop before it closes (and orders his usual #69) melted summons Books on toast. wait and see in the New summer smash of 2011. The Maggit Finds Mott Ave

  • You see the new films like Avatar and Tremors just lack the orginal plot line of monster movies. Good old movies like this, Day of the Triffids and King Kong are the best. Jurassic Park has to be the last of the old-fashioned movies. Same.

  • this movie was the best . grew up watching it all the time

  • Why can't new films be this good? Every film I've seen that, in my opinion, is worth watching is made in the 30's to 90's. Movies aren't good any more.

  • @TheBitchAssMongoose......films started to suck when computers got involved in making movies

  • @inkey2 Indeed.

  • @inkey2 I haven't done the math, but I think that even if things haven't changed, per capita, what we have today are movies that once upon a time, say, in the 70s, would have been ignored and seen later on mst3k... but today you can add cgi and raise the production values just by pointing and clicking, so it gets distributed as something more than it is. Just sayin'.

  • me and my cousin freakinm luved this movie to death! <33

  • Watch as the out going platoon races to the only Living Coffe Shop on Mott ave in an attempt to beat the Maggit to the last box of bagels. See Redfern Ave Decay as the land of the Living dead is swollowed by the beast who would vomit on Chineese food. Free Skate Keys to the first 5 people who can get off the Rock and make it to nassau county.

  • the pinball based on this movie rocks

  • how do people from this year bring themselves to enjoy movies from the 50's? i probly dont understand cuz i am 14

  • See Stymie making his Radio Car do the Charleston, see Jack wreck his taxi cab (ps Dont wake angelo) see the cuckoo drag in skell after skell with 2 minutes left on the3 working clock. See the Maggit swimming under the atlantic Beach and watch as his smelly drawers are able to withstand a harpoon from the shoefly. Smell the Urine in the halls of housing projects see buildings decay before your very eyes till there is nothing standing from 36th street to 57 street. truly amazing

  • See the Maggit taking a shower and before your eyes crumble up like a slug because the water was Clean, See two shoe flies crap their pants when they come face to face with the man who would be cuckoo pulls a 38 from under his gills see See SGT Sidney shake like a leaf on a GUN Run watch scooter Paul turn into a Snake before your very eyes and chase anything in a bikini, See Angelo sleep for 8 hours in the garbage dump all captured on film before your eyes for 10 cents a ticket.

  • See 101 Maggit's brown stain attempt to get away by blending into the wok of the Chinese restaurant on Bch 19th street. Scooter crew ate the rice anyway. See foot man on patrol post 19 witness the Maggot crap his drawers when told the shoe fly was looking to inspect his summer uniform forthwith.

  • See the Maggit Harpooned, see the Maggit feeding the dogs, see the Maggit sleeping and eating at the same time see the maggit with his HAT off Watch the Maggit at a PBA convention a thrill a minute.

  • Watch the amazing Scooter crew of the Boardwalk save the citizens of Far Rockaway from the Smell of the Maggits drawers, watch drag him into court (on overtime of course) and the Judge washes his drawers and throws him back into the sea a thrill a minute see John eat 100 Baby Ruth Bars and wash it down with a pint of Fried Rice as he escapes from the ocean floor and sealts the Captains Radio car

  • There is going to be a re-make the Creature from Beach 12th Street and Seagirt Blvd Far Rockaway NY 11691 starring John Maggot and his fart stained draws backed up by the NYPD retiree's from the 101, along with the Beast that ate 1450 Greenport Road 12 Cartoons, and prize tickets for 3 winners each to get a pair of rollar skates

  • Renato volta, estás perdoado!

  • this movie takes me back....LAMOXD

  • if anyone has seen the movie Land of the Lost the Creature reminds me of the sleeslacks

  • the old films r waaaaay better than the new ones with all the computer graphics

  • a great night club in my home town shows movies like this one in the chill out area. amazing :)

  • does any know where i can see the full movie online please?

  • Scary as hell!

  • As much as I hate to say it, the only way we'd get more of The Gill-Man in movies is either through parodies, monster mashes, cameos, or a remake. Vampires, werewolves, mummies, and Frankenstein's Monster all get tons of movies because they all either come from books, legends, or in the mummy's case it doesn't have to just be one mummy. There's only one Gill-Man though and he should get more credit. I'd like to see more of him. Still there's not really a reason to remake this. It's classic.

  • this was my first horror movie and my dad said this is a good movie you will like it and i was only 4 or 5 and when i watched it i almost shit myself lol

  • i had to laugh at "... of perfected 3 Dimension" :D:D

  • @tommybeyt12345 I actually watched the 3D version with 3D glasses on TV of this horror as a kid, back in the 80s and it scared me to bits. Today I'm playing "Fallout New Vegas" and is equally traumatized having to combat the similar and deadly Larklurks.

  • Comment removed

  • @volunteerz you can actually get this in 3D at SumoGorilla along with Revenge Of The Creature

  • This was my favorite movie as a kid. Scared the hell out of me at some parts, other parts I would rewind just to see again cause it was so cool!! Man I need to watch this movie again. Too bad the 2nd and 3rd ones weren't nearly as good as the original.

  • holy crap, i recently developed a new found love for classics and just finished seeing this for the first time about 30 minutes ago. awesome movie cant wait til hollywood shows it on the big screen

  • my favorite classic by far. <333

  • We didn't come here to fight monsters, we're not equipped for it!

  • i'll shoot somebody if this is remade

  • creature from the black leather lagoon

  • Fuck remakes the original rocks!

  • LOL

  • the trailer gives away too much information

  • The music is cool

  • AMC is getting to soft. I remember they used to show monster movies every Friday.Coming home from school and turning on the tv, ahhh the good old days.

  • @smashhitter2 Yeah, AMC is useless now, and they used to be so good--at least TCM has stayed true to their format. This past June every Thursday they showed a lineup of these classic sci-fi movies. I wish they would set aside a block of programming every Friday or Saturday night where they would show just this stuff.

  • the acting was ehh,the film was so cheap but i love it ..who doesnt

  • i wish i could have watched my teacher that i had a long time ago told me about it and i still remeber

  • best movie ever. classic !!!

  • how is this pro-evolve, it talks about God creating the world at the beginning, and this movie by no means is garbage, its a masterpiece!

  • This is one of my favourite 50s movies. Its a cult classic and I first saw it on an old movie reel. We watched it in an old house and the lights were out. I would loved to have been there in the audience in the 50s weeing that for the first time lol...awsome

  • Best movie monster ever. This made me afraid of swimming in deep water for my entire life. Not kidding at all. Love this movie.

  • Hey! The guy looks that the killer from No Country fon an Old Man LOL

  • Another pro-evolution piece of garbage: "the link between lungfish and man". This marked the beginning of the end for liberal Hollywood.

  • this is a classic title and has given a lot of praise so hollywood please don`t bother make remake because you will cast an young actress or actor who doesn`t know how to act just look what happen to house of wax

  • old movies are swesome ^^ and some people just don't get it

  • Very cool film from my youth. Julia Adams is beautiful and the monster is .... amusing.

  • Classic Gold ****

  • this is phenomenal, especially for the 50's.

3-D AND Julia Adams? oh heck yes.
