  • Also, there is another reason behind such a narrative - it is to acknowledge the distractions that most normal people struggle to cope-up with during meditation and urge them to neverthless persevere and finally conquer these externalities, no matter what. That is the whole purpose of meditation - look inwards inspite of a chaotic world all around you.

  • Namaste, I have been with the mission for almost 25 years now. Sorry that you simply did not get the reason behind his adopting such a style. This talk is supposed to be for a mixed bag of audience of all levels and hence purposely, he tried to come down to their familiar levels to keep it light , interesting just so that people will stay and not give-up ! He is not in need of this talk for himself as he can attain great levels in meditation at his mere whim !! Peace.

  • though you enjoy criticizing big swami (satsang nuggets) thanks for posting

  • I absolutely see no incompletion in this 6:51 min of audio. He starts with how he got impatient during meditation to how his perception of meditation changed. This audio is also pretty old recording. I believe he has pretty good attendance for his talk and also, the audience enjoy his way of speech and the message conveyed.

  • @paramaatma You're certainly entitled to your opinion. He always has a pretty good attendance for his talks because he's been the main talker and translator for the darshan programs, at least here in the US for so many years. These talks are from the public programs, attended by ordinary non-spiritual, non-religious, non-caring folk alike, not just happy go lucky liberals soaking up the love. My explanation is given in the description, you have the right to disagree.
