  • Can't find the footage =that has such a magnificent view- where Jamsei is dumping the (nutty bitch)angry, nice lady - off at the gas station?

    Cheap bastards.

  • James Bond is a fucking idiot.

  • I like the part where he almost murdered her.

  • The first time a mustang was used in a film.

  • DAT CAR ACCIDENT!

  • There are so many damn adds on YouTube, it's pathetic.

  • @Zeemis i know

  • Is this particular Mustang still around?

  • I believe both cars had a straight 6, no?

  • @onlyrock1

Mustang was a cast iron V8, the Aston a straight aluminum 6. The Mustang used the running gear of the Ford Falcon saloon. It was just new on the market in the film.

  • @NearAbbeyRoad Actually...the mustang that year had 2 straight 6 engines, along with a 289 V8 option. What i was saying was I believe I read this particular mustang was actually a 6 cyl.

  • @onlyrock1

I could be. The whereabouts of the car can be tracked on- line on the DVLA's web site. type in the British registration number. The "B" at end means it is 1964.

  • "You know you're lucky to be alive!" - Contrary to popular belief, he wasn't referring to the 'crash' we just witnessed, he was actually referring to the fact that she was driving an American car on a road like that in the first place. It's amazing how she kept it on the tarmac for as long as she did!

  • worst car accident feign ive ever seen

  • Bit of trivia for you: David Brown was a British company that made tractors and gearboxes. I understand they purchased Aston Martin many years ago. Hence the initials DB5.

  • Bit of trivia for you: David Brown was a British organisation that made tractors and gearboxes. I understand they purchased Aston Martin many years ago. Hence the initials DB5.

  • The first time a Mustang was used in a movie.

  • looooooooooool the crash....

  • i love how her head just stops without hitting the windscreen or even the steering wheel LOL

  • The DB5 will always be remembered as THE James Bond car... My father and my uncles had a toy James Bond DB5, it's still at my grandma's house and even though I most of the time prefer the early 70's american muscle car toys they had as well, I would play with it quite often (yes, girl that used to play with toy cars, weird uh?)

But wtf, ruining a mustang to hit on a girl! What an ass!!!!

(XD yeah I know the movie, I was saying this only for kiddin around, no flame pleez)

  • Was the DB5 really a problematic car? I thought it was okay.

  • Gotta love Connery...

  • i bet more people recognize a stang than that pompous problematic car

  • @ninjadance I would rather have the Aston Martin than the Mustang. And no Aston Martins are not any more problematic than any other British car of its time or for that mater than any other 1960s car including American makes. . I have owned and currently still own classic 1960s British cars and drive them on a regular base without issue.

  • The DB5 was beautiful. Heavy as all get out though. Couldn't handle to saves its life. I do love that car. So spot on Aston Martin.

  • An auction, you say? Think they'd accept a postdated check?

  • thats what i do to get my girls..

  • UGH why did Ford have to have only a V6 in the first year of the mustang (1964) if she had a v8 then she wouldent have been over powered.

  • @BeeABaw

actually it was a straight 6

and more power doesn't make a car handle better in curvy alp roads such as these

  • Mustangs came with either a 260 ci straight 6 or a 289 V-8. Ford put the V-6 in later during the 70s in a Mustang.

  • The Mustangs debut movie. Well aside from Bullit anyway.

  • @csihardfan111

Bullit was in 1968, 4 years after this.

  • @McLarenMercedes Yeah but the Mustang was more known in Bullit thanh in James Bond.

  • @csihardfan111 if they were serious about performance(vs an Aston Martin},the Stang would've been a Shelby gt 350 Mustang.....yeah

  • discipline, 007...discipline

  • A very neat way to pull a girl.

Every car should be fitted with Boudicca chariot style shredding wheel hubs.

  • There is some speculation this is why Ralph Nader led the ban against eared knockoffs that came on english and Isports cars of the 1950s and 1960s although I doubt there is any truth to that. I have the three eared ones on my MGC .

  • The Aston Martin DB5 is a "man's car". That turn on the corner took some muscle as these cars had no power steering and were not sports cars as such but Grand Touring cars. the good old days when men were men

  • And women were in the kitchen. I apreciate a cool car but really, I wouldn't go back to the 60's for all the money in the world.

  • The cars today are no doubt more reliable and provide more comfort than anything the 1960s had to offer. I recall riding in my dad's mustang a couple of toys. Now my kids have Ipods, videos and toys they take with them in plenty of comfort. I recall some of the horrible wrecks because of the speed limit and the lack of safety built into the cars. Although I do have an MGC-GT its a tin can compared to my 2008 TT

  • I drive a Zodiac III. Unsafe AND slow, the perfect package. I don't care though, it looks awesome and is probably the most comfortable car I've ever been in.

  • the Mustang I bought new in 1966 was a lot of fun. I had it 2 yrs...I wish i had it now.

  • I like these car scenes

  • DB5 is a very expensive luxury sports car. The cute Mustang was based on the cheap to produce Ford Falcon. There is no comparison between the two. It would be like comparing a 2010 Aston Martin to a 2010 Mustang. Two completely different class of cars.

  • that is the funniest james bond scene i've ever seen, james bond had alot in common with "stuntman mike" in "deathproof" lol

  • british cars always beat american cars

  • @jandj402 Well, if british car where stil british, not german or indian, or geee, american owned...

  • @xavs100 MG Rover is now Chinese alsa

  • @jandj402

    ...to the mechanic's shop.

  • @ApexIXMR jags are the worst ones

  • @jandj402 Nothing wrong with Jaguar

  • @jandj402 100% agree my friend

  • @jandj402 Im British and I would agree with you but the latest Corvettes are good cars that have been engineered very well and look great (Z06 and ZR1) among the best looking cars on the planet

  • Haha yeah I like this part!! Thats one sneaky James!! You gotta love the DB5!! Even if your atracted to the newer Astons!!

  • You gotta love that DB5.

  • all right people said mustang is faster than ASTON MARTIN.....but sorry...DB5 is SEXIER than mustang....no doubt..

  • The Mustang has a lower top speed than the DB5...

Standard Aston Martin DB5 standard coupe used in film: 141 mph

1965(4) Ford Mustang with 289 V8 engine used in film: 117 mph

It accelerates a bit faster though... 7,8 to 8,1.

  • Isn't it ironic that Ford later bought (and sold) Aston Martin? Mustangs were later featured in "Thunderball" and "Diamonds Are Forever".

  • Every H-town slab should have modified 2-prongs 4 road rage purposes...

  • pretty sneaky of james bond

  • Wonderful! The mustang has more power but doesn't go round corners? The ASTON, not austin, was a DB5 Vantage 314 bhp, 3310 lbs, The 'stang was a 65? The largest engine was a 289 hi-po 271 bhp in a 3000lb car. The 305 bhp wasn't available until 1967 model year, one year after the movie was made. Considering the 'stang handles like most American cars it is not suprising it got whipped. By the way I watched GT350's getting whipped by 4 bangers in the sixties so this 6 cylinder.... well.

  • My sources have the mustang used in that movie was a regular 289 (probably an A-code) rather than the Hi-Po 289, the K-code. And as somebody that drove a 1st gen Mustang myself, they are not good cornering cars. Why do 1st gen owners often put Mustang II front suspensions in them? ;-)

But a modded 1st gen mustang still is fun to drive in a straight line. :)

  • true mustangs with the 289 im told tends to rear out, or fish tail and usually spin out,

  • this is a movie

  • loser

  • what??

  • why would i want to learn german?? and why would my next post be about nazis on youtube??

  • because everyone knows you're all about the nazis matt... :P.

  • The Aston is beautiful. The Mustang isn't.

I could beat a 1958 Ferrari 250GTO around a track in my Evo 5. But I'd swap my house for the Ferrari.

  • Poor Mustang...my dear Mustang!
