You have to hit the enemy a few feet away to make it is effective ..... the shotgun in this Doom 3 is the most inefficient in the history of video games

@TheDiamond123123 maybe its just the difficulty, but you can modify the damage system anyway with several cheat codes.. you could even kill cyberdemon (finalboss) with one shot..

I have the game, man and it's not the difficulty level. it's the mod. Normally zombie gets splientered to oblivion with one shotgun round, as does the imp. I think the modder thinks it's better this way, but I don't. The enemys look like red mush after you've killed them, it's stupid.

He should've kept the original damage system and not change it.

@TheDiamond123123 Yeah but you can change it yourself with cheatcodes or you just delete the ... i dont remember the name ... i think it was the weapons-mod, if you delete it, you should be able to kill the enemies as easy as in the original version.. OR you just download the 'perfected doom3 mod' this is the best mod in my oppinion, check it out, maybe you'll like it. :)

@boxterduke to get widescreen in this game u need a 16:9 res for example 1280 by 720 , 1360 by 768 , 1600 by 900 or 1920 and 1080 you can get higher of course just type into the console

@theThrasher51 actually in Doom3 it seems all the monsters except the mancubus and cowheads are quite fragile, when aren't in a pack.

actually angry bees would do the job of the demons much faster, and with mechanical weapons there is no way to fight them.

By example in real world, most dangerous thing in a zombie outbreak would be the uninfected humans that aren't able to produce drinkable water, but man is much more afraid by unknown things rather than dangerous known things.

Nope. The graphics look better but from what I've heard they are filters/fillers to make it look better than the original.
