if you dont get it stay out of the beams its that simple tank gets red beam healer gets green and dps gets blue all give buffs but i think u get a debuff to i dont go into the beam casters usually get it for dps

How are you wiping on maiden? It's purely a dps race. Get yer melee dps on maiden, ranged on adds, and nuke the bugger down. full out dps in evocation phase. Rinse n repeat. My guild got him down in 2minutes 9 seconds the other day :)
we downed her now, really fast, leader was just like F this and kicked everyone out who was causing us to wipe so very often we ended up downing her in 2 minutes

Ok, need some help here. My shaman is 68 atm, (elemental) and i am really looking forward to getting into raiding. I have lots of experience healing Kara as a pally, but i have never dps'd in a raid. So can you tell me what to do as an elemental shaman? like, do i just sit back and spam lightning bolt? and any particular rank of lightning bolt?
If you're a raider there's two main things to keep in mind. First You need to max out consumables (flasks,potions,food). This makes your LBs hit hard. Second thing is using the right spell rotation. On really long encounters if you don't have a shadow priest, you will do long stretches with only LB. Otherwise I open up with LB, CL, then 3LB/CL. If you're bloodlusted then use 5LB/CL rotation. For maximum DPS start with flame shock then do your rotations, and keep flameshock up.
You shouldn't really do shocks though, you'll get more DPS out keeping to CL and LB's. Nice crits though, you hit pretty hard. What was your spell damage and crit in this vid? My own shaman is 68 and looking forward to getting him into raiding. Hunters are fun, but I got sick of mine.
Before this shaman I had 3 paladins. Once you know the paladin class really well you will have extra insight on shamans and how to work with paladins. You can't do this kind of DPS without salv and a paladin to BoP you if you pull aggro.
Elemental damage is really threat capped, so they will often show up at #2 on threat meter and can jump over the tank if not careful. You'll notice on the Nightbane fight, tank goes down and nightbane comes immediately after me. This is with threat reduction talent too. So in endgame, they usually aren't #1 in DPS because the threat holds them down.
Lol. This shaman is overpowered for Kz but gets her butt handed to her in TK. That is pretty normal shammy damage once you get 2 of the tier 4 elemental set.
