The music for this film is amazing, but it's not very historically accurate according to my History teacher (who has a PHD in the subject.) It's based on a poem written about Wallace more than a century after he died. But that poem is our main source of information about his life.

However, that doesn't stop it from being a wonderfully inspiring story. Afterall, all the films and stories about Robin Hood aren't exactly historically accurate. That hasn't stopped him.
