I got spore i installed in once and then i realized i new a new comp cause its not good enough for the game. now its gonna be the SECOND time i install it. once more and im dead
With economic times getting rougher and worldwide collapses inevitable, a lot more people will be concerned with the basic or bare necessities. Such as food, water, and medicines. They will look and enjoy cheap and even free escaspism and entertainments. By both legal and alternate means. Some may wrestle with the moral implications while others get fed up of certain companies sticking it to them. But, a lot of games, movies and music are just over priced and over hyped crap anyway.
the guys who made spore are a bunch of cocksuckers I could have downloaded it illegally easily like a lot of other pc games but i was so excited about it and out of respect I didn't. This is how they repay me fucking scumbags.
nah, chill. the guys who actually made Spore are innocent of all this. Will Wright, creator of Spore (and the Sims) has no power over what EA games does to his creation. the cocksuckers you speak of are the CEOs and power figures of EA, Ubisoft, and Bioware. but werd i feel you though
There should NEVER be any install limits! Computers crash, get upgraded or get reformatted. The way the DRM works is that it generates a key based on your hardware config. Reformat or change too much (or too little) hardware and the key changes, burning up an activation. If you upgrade or wipe your rig often, you'll burn through installs quickly.
games I didnt end up buying because I didnt want to deal with the DRM hassles now or in the future : Bioshock, Mass Effect, Spore, World in Conflict. Sorry, EA. I love playing games but not jumping through your DRM hoops.
Well the funny thing is when you pirate the game it comes with a crack removing the DRM software. So EA has created a situation where I would prefer a pirated copied.

All games in which pirates were enjoying their copies within 7 hours of the games been released.
Go Go DRM....EA really fails.
