There are points in this song that hit target dead center... it's as if the notes Daryl sings and the plaintive poignancy of his pain is translated in music code... especially around the part toward the end where he sings "if you leave me now my heart would not recover" -- all I can say is this: I know the feeling only too well.

These guys are the most soulful singers of many generations. I was lucky enough to get front row tickets for one of their shows here in Biloxi, MS and they were freakin unreal. I would love to see them again and will if they come close, this cd didn't have a sleeper on it. Every song got played, didn't skip a one, tho Getaway Car was my favorite, used it for my car tags. Watching their Behind The Music brought me to tears.
