New Exaust on 08 Silverado and overview

I just bought an 09 Silverado! Pullin up into high school rocks!

I test drove a 2009 6.2 liter 6spd 4wd and it sucked. The dealer tried to rip me off on my trade in.. (a 2004 SS with 30,000 miles) and he tried to gank me for sticker price. F dat!!! I will stay in my 04 SS.

Glass packs suck. Look how small the outside diameter is. That means the inside flow diameter is tiny.... maybe 1.5 inches. I put stainless steel Magna Flows on mine. The inside diameter is about 2 inches.

They are great. Just get the complete system with the resonator or you will get some resonance around 60 mph. My buddy put a dual in dual out Magnaflow on his SS with an x pipe and he had that problem.

ok my dad owns a silvi and he also has the remote start i know how to turn it on but how do you turn it off with the remote start??

Same way you turn it on. But remember, that if you turn it on and then off with the remote, you can not turn it on again with the remote until you put the key into the ignition and then remove it.

the towing package. the 20" rims. the center console, and its sits a little stouter. thats not all but thats all i can remember. ill have to look on the sticker to make sure

vortec 5.3L V8 with active fuel management, 20" rims, mirrors with power fold, heat, and dimming, trailering package, locking rear differential, and the cargo management system. thats it

Nice truck, I just got a 08 Silverado extended cab same color as yours with 5.3L V8. I put aftermarket 20" alloys from Tire Rack. I put a Flowmaster Series 40 with chrome slash cut exhaust tips for ~$400. I put a K&N cold air kit with a Hypertech Max Energy reprogram. I do recommend the K&N and Hypertech. The Hypertech runs around $400 and the K&N costs me about $240. I am getting around 16MPG around town now.

nice truck, i got the black 08 Chevy 1500 Crew Cab Texas Edition and i put a magnaflow cat-back exhuast, k&n cold ait intake, and an edge evolution programmer... you should really look at getting the programmer, i just ran a 15.1 in the 1/4 last week, not bad for our big trucks...
