Is this game coming or not!? Didn't they make it better so that people would buy it. When are they going to stop being lazy and stupid and bring it over to US and Canada already, we already know that people would buy it. Damn Namco Bandai keeping all their games in japan.
I loved part 1 : 'D on the hardest mode u made 1-2 dmg on a stupid plant : 'D and i killed a group of them! FTW! took me like 1h, the baterie went off while i did that, needed to recharge it, in the end i got a stupid item that i can find by searching around in the dugeon; my noob team died, had to finish it by my own >_>
its a good game...fun but no english version YET! and there's so many japanese games that are so much better than what USA companies make sometimes it makes me want to leran japanese so I can just play some of these awesome games
tales of hearts i think is an ok game, is not that intense, and all the fun are sucked out after i finished the main story. i just dont feel like playing it anymore after i saw the ending. because the story is way too long, but it's catching so i played to the end anyway. and the battle system is not very good either, maybe is the NDS limit
the tales games is not that good, and the Final Fantasy frenzy in US had completely overwhelmed the Tales series
@KievenTeo but.....all the good features is in the NDS and the Wii, like a touch screen and motion sensor, PSP and PS1/2/3 dont have that
wit ha flashcart, i can chat in IRC chatrooms right on my NDS, while PSP cant do that because it doesnt have a touch screen, and even if i did it still cant do IRC chat, there is only one screen

@KievenTeo well does your friend have a flashcart like an R4 or a CycloDS Evolution or whatever? because DS's true potential will be unlocked with a flashcart, you can play all of the homebrews made by people, you can even run linux or mac with a keyboard on the touch screen
and look at my video called "Playing MUGEN with my DS" because i have a flashcart, my DS can be used as a controller for my PC to play games, PSP can do the same but its more complicated
you have to look at how you use it, you COULD use it to play illegal roms, but you COULD also use it for homebrew programs, which is free and made by people that dont work at the game making companies
you really dont know how the NDS homebrew scene works dont you. why dont you go google search homebrews for NDS first for a starter, you will find a whole bunch of homebrew websites, if they were ILLEGAL, these website wil be down already and these homebrews hosted on the website will not be updated

the homebrews are made by individuals, by other people that are not associated with those big game companies, and they themselves have the copyright, but usually they release the sourcecode of their homebrews so ppl can modify them

you see, the reason why most of Tales game didn't translate because although there is American people like japanese culture, but not a majorty of American people like them, and Tales game have a lot of Japanese cultures and humor in it that American people will not understand unless they lived in Japan for a while. which the reason why there are some other Japanese game that didn't came to the US
and i do too, but they are alrady translated to chinese by chinese tranlste teams.
just a little fun fect for you guys, in China, there are a lot of people like Korea and Japan culture, even in daily convosations those people using a chinese version of a specific japanese or korean word, and they dress like japanese people and korean ppl too, and they even know almost 98% of either Japan or Korea's culture (means they know more then a real Japanese or Korean.)

umm...from what i see in the description, that game is not as bad as Grand Theft Auto, in GTA, you can use cars to crash into ppl and kill them, you can also use a rocket launcher in GTA to blew ppl's head off, and some people you killed is broken into half.
from what i see, the game you are talking about is about bullies, and bullies is a problem in american schools too so is natural for a game like that to come to the US
actually you dont know most of what americans know(because how many people are you friends with? it's not everybody in US you are friends with right?) so there is a lot of people in US actually know those terms, but you don't even know they existed
i just remembered this: they probebly import games that is only sells well inside Japan, and then they tried to expand the sale by releasing it outside of Japan (because you see every single Japan only game are games that is not very good), and some are for licensing problems, like Jump Ultimate Stars

this is True. if a number one did not sell well in USA. a sequel would not come to amarica because most companies belive if the First one didnt sell well the next will not. Gundam VS Gundam Next did not come to amarica for many reasons. ill say some. some Voice actors did not want to come back. nah translating a game is hard you know. You have to translate the encoding and the dialogues the missions the program has to be adapted and revised in some areas ( not all versions are the same ever notice that?) etc. and they have to make sure hey dont overlook the most minuscule detail and of course they have to record the voices and sync it in so i hope you dont blame them but this kind of work is no joke they cannot make a mistake (although they almost always do) hope this hepled :D

I agree the first game sucked, but this game has much more in terms of nearly everything. Sure it does have it's downsides (damage scaling), but they added a bunch of characters, a brand new story, with slight additions of the previous game. The game is out, but only the JAP version. The ENG released will be announced sooner or later, and I'm definitely buying it.
Let me add on, OL bar depletes more slower, you can even do combos better now. Radiants are easier to get (kill the radiant boss and you get the whole set). Your hi-ougi/mystic arte is better now that you don't need to aim to get hi-ougi, because the skill locks on your target and does the damage. In the previous game, we need to aim for some jobs (ie; warrior, fighter, swordsman).
im still very disappointed that my all time favorite tales character sheena is not included in this game but i'll probably still check for this release when they port it over to the states.
what do you guys think the new classes are. Me and my friend identified what we think some of them are, the skull is obviously a pirate class with a pow hammer set, the two swords are obviously a dual swordsman class, and we think the monster is a beast tamer class. As to the other two we don't know, my suppose is a counterpart to a magic knight and a new caster of some sort.
Now that I think about it, Namco has been on racking out games faster than a monkey on steroids. I mean really, after all of the Soul calibers that came out this year, they also imported ToV, not to mention that ToS2 is on it's way, but now Tales of Hearts is in development (I hope they use the anime cutscenes) and now THIS! Personally, I loved ToW:RM, but this looks ike a major improvement. Hi-Ougi's look the way they should, music sounds great and now more characters! AWESOME!XD

A lot of people probably said that with ToW:RM but with Nanaly, Garr, Harold and Annie. I ony wish they would import ToD2 (the REAL ToD2) and Rebirth. Not to sure about the DS ones, but Tales of hearts looks great.

what do you guys think the new classes are. Me and my friend identified what we think some of them are, the skull is obviously a pirate class with a pow hammer set, the two swords are obviously a dual swordsman class, and we think the monster is a beast tamer class. As to the other two we don't know, my suppose is a counterpart to a magic knight and a new caster of some sort.

Now that I think about it, Namco has been on racking out games faster than a monkey on steroids. I mean really, after all of the Soul calibers that came out this year, they also imported ToV, not to mention that ToS2 is on it's way, but now Tales of Hearts is in development (I hope they use the anime cutscenes) and now THIS! Personally, I loved ToW:RM, but this looks ike a major improvement. Hi-Ougi's look the way they should, music sounds great and now more characters! AWESOME!XD

A lot of people probably said that with ToW:RM but with Nanaly, Garr, Harold and Annie. I ony wish they would import ToD2 (the REAL ToD2) and Rebirth. Not to sure about the DS ones, but Tales of hearts looks great.

Eternal Throw is made for a swarm of enemies, and the attack is only effective in a lineral style, not very suited for a free-roaming LMBS style game
