@myyardycurls Do you use a metal plate under the tajine? if not, that's the reason why your tajines break , the high heat let the food burn inside the tajine.
I just made this tajine couple days ago. My Husband LOVES it so I try to make it for him at least once a week:) I don't usually "charmal" the chicken, but I think it will be tastier if I start doing it like you. Thanks for sharing your version!!

On a flat stove like the one you are using for your tagine what remodeled do you keep it at to cook and not burn? Low, medium , high? Thanks!

@latina212008 Usualy Tagines are cooked on low heat, otherwise they burn.
