  • you own daniel vitalis and david wolf anytime, keep posting these videos

  • Lol Daniel Vitalis does not look healthy at all. He is FAT from all the raw meat, colostrum, and all the other crap.

  • DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS DANIEL VITALIS

  • i watched 2 minutes of this video, and im pretty overwhelmed by the fact that he/you seem to think that you are mentally superior to the rest of us just because you eat vegetables. i refuse to acknowledge or respect the opinion or factual evidence of a narrow minded, condescending, and slightly obnoxious person. Not to say im blind to the truth but by insulting and talking down at the 'heathens' that you think we are, why should any of us take anything you say seriously?

  • Wait, so this gurus entire argument is that cavemen dancing around fires who raped their moms and cannibalized each other ate meat so we should to?

  • @bigritchie - lmao, exactly

  • For being a vegan, you would think that you wouldn't be so pitiful... I have no doubt that vegans get ridiculed, but I believe "to each their own". But, you really need to get off your moral high horse. You claim to be anti violence... That means you would be peaceful... The way you speak about people, is the opposite of peace. Why don't you stay out of people's business, and likely they will stay out of yours.

  • " This is a fact! All tribal cultures used drugs and alcohol" Please explain what specific drugs and alcohol the eskimos had and used durianrider?

  • If they dont do debates, It often means the person they dont "debate" with isnt interested in a conversation where finding truth is the end result, there interested in "being right" & backhanded insults. Mature people dont have time to waste debating with people who change topics when questions are asked, uses irrelevent examples with shock value, calls names, bases every one of there thearys on bashing someone elses, says "there a good guy just" then procedes to use shallow insults.

  • Macbooks, bikes, ect modern tools for relivent tasks like learning information and getting places. Did every culture have tools, yesssss. "go to the pub and drink a homebrew" if you dont see the oxymoron in that sentence then somethings wrong. Orthorexia is when you ban intire food groups that have been used since the begining of time, not when you ban modern frankenfoods. "getting anerexix" Haha ironic coming from the humen twig, whos soo "phat" phobic he calls down anyone with a fraction of fat

  • @durianriders Yes that is very much what your good at durrianrider, making people feel guilty for things that have nothing to do with the topic that was adressed. Bravo, your a very skilled irrelivent guilt tripper. :)

  • and making fun of people isn't a BAD HABIT?

  • another awesome video :):)

  • Team Durianrider all the way :)

  • last thing lol. were not a product of evolution its bs were a creation of god. What did the garden of eden have before we fell into sin madafucking fruits. Its in the bible, first page look And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

  • and if you're going to eat rice. eat black or wild rice, and if ur doing beans cook naval and garbanzo beans, never white rice or any other bean, cuz there high in starch. have you seen old asians and how there always hutched backed its because of the high strach in white rice.

  • so we've been taught to eat blood and starch and that's was killing us. There is only one disease and that is mucus. Clear the mucus and you cure the disease its that simply. Dr Sebi BABY!!!!!!

  • In order to become a doctor you have to take the hypocrites oath. Who was hypocrites you might ask. An ancient Greek who used to cure all disease on a alkalize vegan diet and with herbs of course. This subject is older than the stupid china study my culture knew all this but we were colonized.

  • but we don't know these because the history books have been re written

  • most indigenous cultures were vegan till they got colonized by the Europeans

  • first of all Mayans ,Incas, Aztecs were mostly vegan with the occasional hog. Columbus brought over cows chickens, rice and beans etc,,, to the Americas. Africa was all vegan till the Europeans raped the African culture. What is the body made of 78% water, so I keep hydrated. the rest of the 22% is carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. What is the structure of a carbohydrate? carbon hydrogen and oxygen. Dr Sebi has been curing disease for 40 plus years on a vegan diet look him up Harley.

  • @durianriders Actually, I never drink alcohol, I never do (or have) taken drugs, and I certainly don't eat anything processed. And I have already found peace, I am very happy in my life but thank you for you're concern. Peace from Aus :)

  • What on earth does drugs and alcohol have to to with the vegan generation question??? Again QUESTION AVOIDED! Answer the question "Where are there and generations of 100% vegans with healthy offspring???" Talk about backing out.

  • Comment removed

  • @waynebw :) they ARE (i.e. are living)

  • @waynebw That's not avoiding the question to point out an inherent flaw in the question. If it lacks proper logic, the question is inane. Why debate it? Durian is clearly stating that simply because things were done in the past, doesn't make them right or healthy. PROGRESS?? Has history taught you nothing?DON'T listen to salesman. Veganism is far from an experiment. Case after documented case in the 20th century people lived it successfully and were chided for it because it opposes the system.

  • Harley might win in running against Daniel because 1. He has years of training 2. Fruit carbs are the best for easy energy. This does not mean that exclusively eating fruit is optimal for health. Daniel will always 'win' because he eats the nutrients that are required to produce healhty off spring. I'd like to see a sperm count from Harley. And I'd like to hear honestly, would he put a child on exclusively vegan diet. Please harley, explain rickets in vegan kids.

  • @waynebw But you guys say my diet is deficient but then how the fuck can I be elite level fit with ZERO drugs lol!

Sperm count, bro, I had a vasectomy 6 years ago. Good luck getting a sperm count from phat boy, the dude wont even step up to a fricken live skype debate lol!

Rickets in vegan kids? Hey bro, I know lots of vegan kids and they are the fittest kids I know. If you put your kid indoors all day then yeah, no sun will give ANYONE rickets lol!

PS: I dont JUST eat fruit. :)

  • @durianriders ur funny man, do wut i did find the right diet and lifestyle and LIVE IT who gives a fuq if other ppl agree or not. and for the record u r so fuqing wrong man. im not gana try to change ur opinion but u r wrong... i hate typing but if u wna have a debate ill debate u all day long . and u will be made a fool of

  • @waynebw are you serious

  • This frustrates me. Daniels question was not answered, it was just avoided & distracted. Just because unhealthy people (who also happen to eat meat) are sick doesn't mean that eating a diet high in fruit, veg & some meat is bad. It just means that eating processed food & lots of meat is bad. Is pisses me off how Harley generalises people who have meat in their diet "steak chips n beer" it's ridiculous. Many people eat lots of fruit veg & just some meat & guess what, they look amazing & optimal.

  • Funny as always!

  • very good video!!

  • woo hooo!

  • Harley, I have one word for you: EXPERIMENT. You seem to be evading one of Dan's main points, which is this: There has never been a civilization in history who ate a vegan diet and produced healthy offspring for multiple generations; therefore, we don't know what the long term results of the vegan diet will be. It is a new experiment. Maybe it will turn out to be proved to be healthy, and maybe it will not. You are unwilling to admit that it's an experiment, and this makes you sound arrogant.

  • @MisterLibertarian Thats like saying 'cos there is no cultures without war, rape or murder that we have to have these things for a functional society. Its like saying there has never been a culture. that didnt eat other humans at some part in its history so we should keep eating each other. No cultures were drug free either so lets bong, booze and snort on eh? ;)

Its an experiment to eat fruits and veg as much as it to get lots of sleep, water, activity, fun and love.

  • @durianriders No, not really. History has shown that human beings can thrive and pass on healthy offspring through multiple generations with an omnivorous diet. History has not yet shown that it can be successfully done with a vegan diet—that’s all I am saying. The vegan diet may be the greatest diet ever, but it is premature to declare this right now. As for “war, rape, [and] murder,” we have seen many cultures thrive for a long time without these horrid activities, so those are poor analogies.

  • @durianriders Following my last post, to be clear: We see "war, rape, [and] murder" in most cultures, but the vast majority of the population typically abstain from these activities.

  • @MisterLibertarian When the vast majority of USA citizens supported the invasion of Iraq after 911, a country that had less to do with 911 than most other countries on Earth, I think your point is either entirely fatuous or ignorant in the extreme.

The occupation of Iraq saw over 200,000 deaths as a direct result, immeasurable misery and suffering for millions, rape and sexual molestation, imprisonment and torture of at least hundreds of innocent Iraqis. All in your name, Captain America.

  • @durianriders Thats not like saying that at all. One is a issue of nutrition and what a body needs to function proporly for multiple generations, the other are socail and moral issues of sociaty. I find it funny how every sentence you start off with "Thats like saying" Is really nothing like the example you give at all. Heres a tip, a example has to be of some relevence to the actuall topic at hand. ;)

  • @durianriders - absolutely amazing comment Harley :)

  • in addition, your videos had me laughing non stop as i watched them. you have a fully functioning bullshit detector, my man!!

  • it's obvious to me that you are far from immature. i feel like i really get who you are and what you're trying to do. you are an honest and truthful voice in a world of food gurus that are lost in their addictions. YOU ARE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!!

  • your so mean ahah i love it lol

  • I like your stuff a lot and I became a vegan myself and felling great but I don't agree that cultures would choose fruit if they had it available, usually they go for the calorie dense stuff, meats, bugs, fish etc.. Watch a show on Yotube called Bizarre Foods and you will see.

  • please

  • "humans have been eating animals for millions of years" This is an attempt to use the false induction fallacy - argumentum ad antiquitatem (aka... Appeal to Tradition (see wikipedia "Appeal to tradition") It's kind of like saying, "for millions of years people believed the Sun was God and the Earth was flat so it must be true, and we should follow those people that still believe those ideas." PS: Veg*ns are not immune to also using, 'Appeal to Tradition' in their arguments as well.

  • I've found two fruits that I am able to digest with ease; nectarines (juiced) and peaches (juiced). It mustn't be a coincidence that the first fruit chosen by parents for their babies is often peaches! I juiced about 20 peaches and nectarines yesterday, but am unaware what the caloric content would have been of them, anyone have any idea? If I could juice 40 peaches and nectarines a day, could this form the staple of a diet?

  • @ThePantherVision it's not a good staple because that wouldn't be a whole food. Whole foods should be our staple, with juices being a much smaller percentage. If you are including some of the fruit fiber in the juice, then it's probably ok though :D

  • @ThePantherVision nutritiondata.self.com/facts/fruits-and-fruit-juices/1990/2

  • @1imesub So you see, in order for me to get 2000+ calories, I would be taking in well above the 100% of daily intake of fiber. I know DR and other fruitarians might see this number as been conservative, but if 1 peach has the effect of making me feel nauseous, then juicing is the only alternative that comes to mind. I can drink many times more peaches without all the extraneous fiber... but this conflicts with some people's views, why???

  • I'm in a quandary. I find animal PROTEIN extremely resistant to digestion, yet I find animal FATS -- lard and fish fat, especially -- extremely easy to digest. I believe the Okinawan longevity is due in part to their high consumption of animal fat (lard and pork fat featuring very prominently in their diet) and carbohydrates (sweet potatoes). I do not see, however, any significant portion of fruit coming from their diet.

  • I have decided to buy lard again from a very caring and considerate woman raises hogs (and keeps several as pets!), and has been in business for over a decade. If I am able to digest animal fats with ease and they provide the necessary fats to activate vitamins and minerals in fruits and vegetables, then the only alternative is for me to source it from someone I know is treating their animals with love, dedication and respect. Fortunately, the lard is a byproduct of her business & sold at a loss

  • @ThePantherVision If your going to eat animals then get your tumor marker levels checked reguarly as well as b12, homocysteine, uric acid, amine load, parasite levels and cholesterol. Do a electrocardiogram to see if your heart is strong enough to take that much fat.

Then get your adrenal and hormone system checked to see if you can handle that much adrenaline/hormones/metabolic waste products that is naturally occurring in ORGANIC/WILD/GRASS FED animal products.

  • @durianriders Thank you very much, Harley. I REALLY respect the fruitarian lifestyle and have an enormous amount of respect for you; I visit 30bananasaday everyday, watch your videos, and am a subscriber to your channel. I would love nothing more than to eat a diet that is exclusively fruit with no animal products whatsoever, but the reality is I cannot.

Like I have said before, I am ashamed to eat corpses. I HATE to do it... but if I cannot maintain my weight eating fruit, no alternative.

  • @ThePantherVision I'm curious as to why you "cannot" maintain your weight eating fruit when so many others can (including myself)? I guess if you have already decided there is "no alternative" then you have a struggle on your hands. Don't do things you hate my friend it is a 2nd class way to live :)

  • @durianriders And the day I eat any one of DV's products, is the day I eat my own vomit, drink my own urine and eat my own feces.

  • @ThePantherVision - "in part" What are the other parts and are you following them or in a "quandary" about them as well? Please provide data to back up "their high consumption of animal fat"

  • @ThePantherVision There's a youtube video of a young lady who went a couple months on nothing but orange juice and she said she felt great. Search "Mono Orange Juice Diet - day 55" on youtube.

  • I've been vegan for 11 years and am doing great. DV obviously didn't know what he was doing. He shouldn't go around badmouthing the vegan diet just because he's an idiot... he probably shouldn't be going around giving dietary advice either since he clearly doesn't understand the subject himself. Just because he's not smart enough to eat right doesn't mean we're not.

    GO VEGAN. STAY VEGAN.

  • Someone please tell me why there are no laws mandating some of these corpse haunts (McDonald's, BK, KFC, etc.) stop siphoning off their stink in the public domain. We've done away with big tobacco, why is this any different?

  • DR, according to Dr. McDougall, we naturally produce 6 - 12 times the amylase (starch digesting enzymes) of Chimpanzees. I think that offers a powerful clue as to what we're 'designed' to eat. I'll do all fruit for a few days at a time, but am always drawn back to potatoes, corn, rice, split pea and lentil soups. I'm at a healthy weight and still eat a lot of fruit. I really don't think all raw is necessary for optimum health. Do you believe those foods are a bad choice? If so, why?

  • I dont think cooked starches are a bad choice, I think they are a good choice AND that sweet RIPE fruit is the BEST choice for health and athletic performance and nutrient density per calorie.

  • Hello Harley!Great vid! I think DV knows deep down that he did not have a clue about the real deal vegan lifestyle. Must say I am proud of you to hear your opinion on traditions!! (which I agree with 100%) Traditions can deceive the whole world.

  • So, unless I want to consume less than 200 calories (a laughable amount) of raw fruit a day, I will happily eat 2000+ calories of COOKED fruit a day. It may be less than optimal, but I can eat half the volume of foods that DR eats in a day, for the same access to nutrients made by cooking. I suspect some naive fruitarians out there are consuming fruit haphazardly by not consuming it cooked, and suffering because of it.

  • I was able to achieve a caloric surplus yesterday, when only a week before I had only been able to eat less than 200 calories in bananas/peaches raw.

The reason why I mention this, is because I think many people will look at 30 bananas a day in distaste. Yet, if they were to consume 15 COOKED bananas (such as in baby food), it would be infinitely more approachable. I suspect raw fruits (HCRV style) would work for far less than cooked. The nutrients made available by cooking cannot be overlooked

  • Quite the opposite occurred -- my body seemed to take to my disavowed fruit, the banana, with delicate fondness. Upon 30 minutes of digestion (120 calories per 128 ml bottle, which is almost a whole banana) I noticed something different, my body was fastidiously working away at digesting it. Perhaps the breakdown of residual starch that escapes digestion may have been the cause of consuming ripe bananas, but eating an equal portion cooked? No problem.

  • If an attentive person out there who has seen the DurianRider visit to Thailand, they will remember me decrying fruit as being indigestible. As I recall, I said fruit was COMPLETELY indigestible to me in all forms. I have found a solution, though it is not inline with HCRV. I opted to buy baby food (undergoes rigorous processing, which includes cooking) to transition into the fruitarian lifestyle. I skeptically ate my first container with anticipation of the onslaught of digestive distress.

  • @ThePantherVision Why can't you digest fresh fruit?

  • @1imesub In the case of bananas I think it has to do with any residual resistant starch that is leftover from ripening, which is converted into sugar upon cooking. It could be that my body is intolerant of ALL starch; this could explain why I find potatoes, rice, all starches hard on my digestive system. I can eat a steaming hot potato with less difficulty, in terms of digestion, than I can a cooled potato with higher amounts of resistant starch.

  • @ThePantherVision I've never heard of that, but alright, I'll take your word for it. I can eat 8 bananas for breakfast, no problem. I would imagine you can eat other, less 'starchy' fruits like mangoes, grapes, melons, berries, etc. Amylase is the enzyme that breaks down starches, it should be present in your saliva. Maybe a doctor could run a test to see if you're not producing it for some reason?

  • @1imesub No, that's just it, I cannot digest any fruit in raw form. I do find that SOME baby food is difficult to digest because of added irritants (lemon juice concentrate or ascorbic acid), although it is much easier to digest than anything in its raw form. I tried eating raw cherries several weeks ago, and just today, again I tried them eating them. When eating them raw I could not stomach them, experienced heavy bloating and was able to consume a meager 200 calories worth.

  • @1imesub Today I ate about 400 calories worth; I steamed them until they were slightly mushy, and removed the peels to decrease fiber content. I was able to digest them with ease and no discomfort, so consuming even more than 1000 calories would have been achievable, if I had not decided to refrain myself. Today I consumed about 2300 calories (almost all in baby food) in fruit, all of it being processed, and no resulting bloating/discomfort.

  • @1imesub The only issue I have with consuming baby food longterm is the price. It is not inexpensive in comparison with fresh fruit, but at this pinnacle moment in my life it could provide me with the sustenance for weight gain. I am in throes of a serious, life-altering disease is killing me at a frenzied pace. I tried eating 2000 calories in corpses, but it was NOT achievable. Remitting food is an AUTOMATIC, not manual, response when consuming that much in corpses.

  • @ThePantherVision Definitely stay away from the corpses. If your going to cook everything you eat, might as well eat steamed rice, potatoes and vegetables. That's what I eat, plus a lot of raw fruit. I can't imagine living on baby food and cooked fruit for the rest of my life... Maybe you could try juicing, like the LifeRegenerator does. Have to fork out the cash for a juicer but might be worth it in your case.

  • "Freethought holds that individuals should not accept ideas proposed as truth without recourse to knowledge and reason.Freethinkers build their opinions on the basis of facts, scientific inquiry, and logical principles, independent of any logical fallacies or intellectually limiting effects of authority, confirmation bias, cognitive bias, conventional wisdom, popular culture, prejudice, sectarianism, tradition, urban legend, and all other dogmas"

Why aren't there more freethinkers out there? XD

  • Yes good one Harley....I am a Maori from New Zealand....a few generations ago my ancestors eat one another.....just because our ancestors did it does make it right...mind you would mind a bite of Daniel...he looks tasty

  • @matti7fcb DV is just another one of our friends that says 'but they smoked tabacco and bongs back in the day so thats ok isnt it?' Women were just slaves to men so thats ok isnt it?

  • What brought me to this point? I KID YOU NOT -- this is fair warning to those of you who think there is no danger in consuming animal products -- they (animal products) in your diet WILL kill you. I have seen my health deteriorate to no end from exclusively chowing down on a diet solely consisting of animal products. If it had not been for Harley, 30bananasaday.co... I would be dead. This is not an endorsement. Just evidence-based fact.

  • My health is in disaster, and I am afraid that I will be the next in line to die because of my foolhardy belief that animals are anything but our next of kin. Today I ate more than 1500 calories of baby food (banana, peach, pear, apple & strawberry) and dates, and feel more than sated. I have been constipated for the last month (no alleviation of bowels AT ALL), but feel my first bowel movement coming along after eating NO animal products. Whatsoever.

  • If you will not discontinue consuming animal products on moral grounds, which is NOT my choice whatsoever, I would suggest you do so for your health alone. If animal products were meant to be eaten, as fruits and vegetables are eaten in their raw state, we wouldn't upturn our noses at the rotting flesh (just as we have a "sweet tooth" for our natural food, fruit, carnivores have a "stink tooth" for rotting flesh) in nature or elsewhere.

  • In my ignorance I continued unabated in my consumption of animal products, willing myself to believe that it would progressively become easier to tolerate them. I became more constipated, skinnier and would continually "remit" what I had eaten. It is no surprise that when someone omits carbohydrates in their diet and focuses on animal products solely, the person will "spontaneously" reduce their calories way below optimal. This is the inherent indigestible properties of animal products in play.

  • I would like to take the time to apologize to the vegans and vegetarians who are reading, to say that I am sorry for consuming animal products. They are every bit as indigestible as Harley has described; this is coming from someone who has a compromised digestive system because of bulimia and anorexia, so I should know. It's funny, really, because I was under the impression that eating 2 eggs a day (feeling like crap) and a pat of butter was "normal", and that I could thrive that way.

  • The most tolerable baby food would be bananas (I like banana-mango), peach, and for the less advanced, apple and banana. The banana baby food is good mixed with raisins, and perhaps a sprinkling of sunflower seeds (raw). Do not overdo nuts/seeds because they are not supposed to be consumed, as they are the progeny of the next generation. We do have inbred ways of deactivating some anti-nutrients in nuts/seeds, but they are a challenge if consumed in excess.

  • I would recommend that for people beginning a LFRV diet, they start out with EASY to digest foods such as baby food. If you take the time to look at many of the "starter foods" in the baby food aisle, ALMOST all are fruits. This is coincidence, as the starting (and ending) foods of all humans is fruit. Why do we see all these intolerances to non-human foods, and all of the baby foods are all fruits? Simple: our diet is to consist almost 100% fruit with supplemental nuts and seeds.

  • DR,

    I wuv you

  • DR,

Have you seen the nutritional information on both bananas and sweet potatoes? It's said that the renowned Okinawans of Japan survived on a plentiful surprise of sweet potatoes which, surprisingly, are very similar to bananas in nutrition. Vitamins, minerals and starch are very similar. Take a look for yourself, and please comment!

  • Has anyone ever removed the skins of dried dates? I find all fruits digest better without their peels, which contain the bulk of fiber/anti-nutrients (if present).

  • my comment was omitted because i talked favorably of a certain amazonian plant medicine that durianrider calls a drug.. by the way, love you Durianrider! always awesome info and passion, please keep em comin!

  • @solargazing69 Ethno-botanical. See excellent and fascinating book "Balance Point" by Joseph Jenkins.

  • Brilliant Harley...you omitted a principle reason for corpse eating. When humans crowded themselves out past the subtropics, they simply did not have the food for which their bodies are designed, and with which the bodies evolved. There was no fresh food in winter, and scarcely enough food.

  • that freaking cracked up up lol. *sigh* i find daniel interesting to listen to, but nonetheless..! :)

  • "Just cause someone's out of shape, doesn't make 'em a bad person" Love it Harley, please don't stop..............

  • YOU are hot

  • @Daliah2603 yes he is :)

  • I thought that all that fruit would make me fat and make my insulin sky rocket but it has not,far from it in fact I lost weight(fat)and got healthier. there's something different about the sugars from fruit and vegetables,I think it may be different structurally like makeup of it,like pasta is low GI,the same as some fruit.

me,I keep to low GI fruit cos I'm fat blob, but people like durianrider don't have to watch that at all. I'm sure when i lose more fat I will eat more sweet fruit too!

  • @durianriders I hope you know that your actually saving peoples lives!,you should have a bloody medal mate!.For all you people out there, this guy is actually saving people from miserable sad slow painful deaths. Why not try what he says,I did and now my doctor and the lab are dumbstruck.Just try it,laugh at him whatever but try it,because this guy is a genius!....and entertaining.

  • You remind me of Michael Palin but younger and much much funnier and far more interesting...

  • I went on a diet that you recommended and went for blood tests, guess what?

my doctor thought it was the wrong results!,so he checked the lab results again

complete positive turnaround!,he could not believe it.

    Vegetarian diet works,FACT.

  • @rockcityaudio Thats why 100% of the best health clinics on earth feed their patients a plant based diet. NOBODY is reversing cancer, heart disease etc buy INCREASING intake of animal products. A glaring fact that these rednecks that live in the past to justify today's bad habits are ignoring.

  • I watched this on my MacBook with nothing but my loincloth on!

  • I agree with you about Daniel Vitalis' ridiculous arguement with past cultures. I'd like to point out to him that in many past cultures women were treated horribly and as property. Should that continue just because "our ancestors" did it?

  • @OneSweetWorldLIOG Dont get me started on DV's beliefs about relationships with women.

  • And Harley, well done, this is excellent

  • Aha... you crack me up, DR!! Love your videos and your honesty!! Really want to see you debate some of these health "gurus"!!! Hope you and Freelee are having an amazing time in Thailand. Looking forward to more videos of Thailand and the cheap exotic fruit (jealous, but I'm gonna make it happen for me one day:). Oh and convince Freelee to be in more of the videos... she's so beautiful and inspiring!! xx Liz

  • I LOVE DURIANRIDERS! He makes sense, DV and DW are constantly beating around the bush....so sad that people can't see that DV & DW are truly hucksters (I think that word is very fitting)

  • Good Video Harley. I share your passion in giving people good information. ;-)

  • love the ace ventura hairdoo ;)

  • I think that both side of the chat are valid because people thrive on both diets and they are both better then a SAD... you both have heart and passion and it is good.

We can work out want work for our body.

  • @RawBajan I don't know if DV has a diet to represent? So far, all I have heard him saying is he eats colostrum and steak. A diet that does not make, IMO.

  • And also, maybe you can beat DV on the bike, but look at Dean Karnazes, he eats The PaleoDiet, and he is the most powerfull marathon man in the world, so comparing is not an answer. The answer is TALKING to EACH OTHER, and conclude each ones opinion.

  • @OmegaRiver you should take a look at scott jurek then...

  • @82Bdog I'm just saying, THAT, there is people out there, EATING MEAT, and have an opinion lile Daniel Vitalis, so we just have to share, AND NOTHING IS 100% TRUTH AS some people SAY. I just like talking and sharing, not discussing likie THIS MOVEMENT IS DOING. peace.

  • @OmegaRiver WTF is the paleo diet lol!? For some people its vegan, some vegetarian, some raw, some cooked, some organic, some not, some high calorie, some low fat, some high fat, some no supp, some lots of supp.

FTR I eat the paleo diet too. I can out run Karnazes in a 10k. Gimme 15 cups of coffee a day and I will run as far.

  • @durianriders People use coffee like you use bananas. Whats wrong with that?

  • @wordey123 How long can you live on coffee?

  • @wordey123 How about you spend several months on coffee island, and report back to us with your findings on what exactly is wrong with coffee.

  • @ThePantherVision Haha, Ill stick to my moderation thank you.. Cuppa coffee for a lil kick of energy is fine as is 10 bananas. My health is perfect so I can eat it unlike most of the anorexic ibs inflamed sufferers on here. And no, dont try to call me out for heart disease or overweight cause I'm not.

  • @wordey123 You sound stressed. I would recommend those 10 bananas post-haste! Lol @ a cup of coffee providing the equivalent energy boost of 10 bananas.

  • @wordey123 If you've been eating a diet of dairy, cooked meats, and processed oils, you have atherosclerosis. You may or may not have a heart attack or stroke as a result, but your arteries are currently riddled with plaques. Fact: 80% of Americans have coronary artery disease by age 20.

  • @1imesub I actually dont eat dairy or processed oils.. I've grown up on a traditional Chinese diet. No health problems like you Americans.

  • @wordey123 I see.. you were just talking about coffee.

  • The "traditional Chinese diet" is a stepping stone to LFRV, with fruitarianism overtones. Recently I was in the supermarket and spied on what a Chinese family had in their grocery cart; featured prominently were cherries, mangoes, bananas, papayas, oranges, with a sprinkling of vegetables like cabbage, bok choy and lettuces. It would not come as a surprise if the traditional Chinese diet began substituting starches for fruits, in the very near future, as economic conditions permit.

  • @wordey123 sorry I couldnt help myself and had to reply... but your a fucking idiot.

  • @pac0re ;(

  • @OmegaRiver Put Karnazes up to Scott Jurek any day in an ultra marathon and Jurek wins. Jurek is also a long time vegan.

  • @slater1108 HE is NOT eating this kind of stuff anymore, read newer interviews. I'm WIth DR and DV, but i'm with DV as the kind of disccusion, we have to bring the truth by talking to each other KINDLY, nobody KNOWS the truth, as far as i'm concerned(i've also read a lot of quantum things) and, as DV SAYS, is there any long generation VEGAN? HE JUST WAS ASKING, and right after, PEOPLE ATTAKING HIM.....c'mon guys, i do not know what's wright, but it's a better way of discussing.

  • @OmegaRiver Dean Karnaze's recipe for success: "EAT JUNK – LOTS OF IT". And his diet, " He’ll chase the pizza with cheesecake, cinnamon buns, chocolate éclairs, and all-natural cookies."

How does this play into the definition of the "paleo diet"? Please provide references to his paleo diet in deference to this article, I'd like to see it. For performance he's using high carbohydrate, high fat. But it's not "paleo" by any means.

  • @ThePantherVision Article: proteinpower.co/drmike/fast-food/the-dean-karnazes-diet

  • @ThePantherVision Did you mean Kamikaze, crashing suicide?

  • @nityanandi YouTube capricious. This was reply to OmegaRiver re Dean Kamaze.

  • @nityanandi Precisely :)!

  • The paleo diet is an escapist route for the SADers out there, makes them "believe" they are doing something different, when it's pretty much all the same. High fat, high protein, and intermittent "carb-loading". This is an obvious pathological problem with these dieters, that they are craving our innate food source -- carbohydrates. The more fat and protein you pile on your plate, the greater and more frequent your urges will come. The indefatigable carbohydrate obsession ends when you carb up.

  • Thank you, Harley!!

  • Yesterday I ate nothing but fermented mammalian secretions and menstrual excretions, those are the words used to describe "yogurt and eggs" in the vegan community. I have to say, I do not feel as if I am at a loss for abstaining from meat. I was also able to tolerate more fruit than I expected, however I had to do "wadge" (chew the fruit, spit out the fiber) the watermelon, apples and mango.

  • At first I thought you were a bit of a jerk but then I actually started listening to what you were saying and I think you're my favourite person on Youtube now.

    Love from Canada!

  • I totally agree with you. There's one person in my life who is convinced that fresh fruit and vegetables are bad, and the other day gave me hell for not eating animal fat. Not even the meat, THE FAT. .... ugh...... She says that not eating animal products isn't natural, while she is chain smoking, watching TV, and baking sugary/oily/fatty desserts all day long. I wish I had your kind of reasoning so I could come back at her with some logic. I just sit and smile and go to my happy place lol

  • @kaeli87 Animal fat is less problematic than animal protein. I have wondered myself if this is the reason why certain species of chimpanzees, after stripping down a carcass, will chew the meat down and spit out the tangled masses of protein? This is reminiscent of fruit wadging, where an animal will chew something to release the juices and spit out the fiber.

Fruit bats survive on a nearly 100% liquid diet; they suck the juices from fruit and include some nectar in their diet as well.

  • We are no more civilized than our predecessors. Just because we have macbooks, heating, air conditioning, etc., does not mean we are more adept than our ancestors. We pollute the shit out of our earth. Past good values are dying fast and new bad values are flourishing on the global scale. Might is right is the officially accepted moral value of justice on the global scale.

  • oh come on harley :( i agree with you on many levels, and i respect your point of view.. but i think you're really missing the point...

  • Thank you very much for Sharing!!!!!

What a way of meeting people and get to see their talent. At first was reluctant being on youtube, but getting to do this has brought me into the houses of some very special people. You are one of them. Life; isn't it wonderful!!! Keep up the good work. Have A Splendid Day!!!!

    A New Friend

  • I still think that the classic indian diet of vegetarianism, where they consume, fruits, grains, vegetables and milk from a cow that is well fed, healthy and not treated like crap

i understand that you feel bad about dairy, but i suspect its because of the way that cows are treated in the "dairy business", pumped with antibiotics, hormone enhancements, etc.

but i dont see a problem with eating beans, lentils, rice, some forms of healthy grain. BUT fruits are amazing still, dont get me wrong.

  • @Goujiki it's true modern dairy practices are part of what motivates vegans, plus presence of hormones, etc. But even with these factors aside as you said in the case of the "well fed, healthy and not treated like crap" cows, it's still time to step up and go beyond our ingrained speciesism. would it ever be acceptable to have my baby's breast mlk stolen for someone else? No. So it's not ok to do it to someone else either just because they look and sound different. Animals are not OURS.

  • Durian really does not know how to debate, he just insults. Not willing to listen to anything

  • @Einz2 Have you heard him debate?? Give us one quote where he insults.

  • Apparently Dave Zabriskie is vegan now, and most would say a better than average cyclist.. And I'm rather sure it's fruit where he gets the energy!

  • Comment removed

  • Vitalis is an idiot.. but sometimes u seem a little do or die/edgy to me.. maybe from time to time a little bit of gras vapor would do u good

  • How would I know if someone has blocked me or not? I don't think I've said said anything which would warrant a blocking from DR.

  • be kind to each other, DV is being the most kind person here, he is sharing, not batteling. C'mON guys, wake up. Then vegans say that animal food eaters ARE AGRESSIVE BECAUSE OF ThE MEAT; c'mon, here it's opposite. WE ARE IN THE SAME BOAT GUYS.

  • Harvey, how much Arian energy / Fire element do you have in your birthchart?

[You could PM me your Birth details in private if you're comfortable] I'm just really intrigued by that stuff, tahts all :)

  • @murphalot13 *Harley!

  • This kind of reminds me of people who say slaughtering dolphins is okay because it's a tradition. Cannibalism was a tradition too but we've gotten past that. People need to stop looking to the past for answers and start thinking about what's good for us and the planet NOW and for the future.

  • DV wants human sacrifices?

  • Should post that on his fb wall LOL

  • I don't care who you are, DR or DV, I would never follow any dietary regimen word for word. I'll take small snippets here and there, and parse together what I like and form my own template. 15 bananas to DV's half gallon of colostrum a day, the perfect diet. Blend bananas and colostrum for the perfect primal smoothie. That's my diet.

  • Might want to note that penguins come from Antarctica and the Inuit are from the Arctic.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity Actually, Daniel Vitalis has a new penguin intestine product which he ships all the way up to the inuits. They're huge fans. That's what DR was referring to. :P

  • I am still not sold on fiber and bowel function. I have found on the days that I have eaten high fiber, I will not produce stools and be constipated that day and thereafter until I stop eating high volumes of it. I have found that consuming minimal amounts of fiber, eating a good dose of probiotics from yogurt, that I experience the least complications and produce excellent BMs. In fact, eating nothing but yogurt works best for (my) constipation. Why?

  • dr point at 11:30 is very valid
