Only thing I miss from my N8 is a faster processor, like 1Ghz would be nice. Camera is still the best in the market so it really depends what you need from a phone. N8 is getting a big brother soon, maybe published in Monday, we'll see.

My old point and shoot Sony Cybershot was kinda bad taking images with so I needed a new camera for my trip to Barcelona. I bought N8 because that actually gives me a lot better images than the old Cybershot and it also has free Navigation when abroad :) Great buy!

@Arvydas93 I am not so confident about the WP phones being a success. I can't even get myself to give them the benefit of the doubt. I am Symbian fan boy and i believe in Meego and Maemo. Personally I believe they should have gone with that. Anyway it's too early to tell what will happen with the Nokiasoft phones but I wish them all the best. It will take a whole lot more convincing for me to purchase one though

Ii am one of many people who are currently extremely happy with Symbian. It might not be the most idiot proof(what some people call user friendly) but I feel it gives the user the most freedom and access to the phones content. That, coupled with good hardware and build quality is what I want from a device. On the other hand i know many that are of the same opinion as you.

If camera is important for you the N8 is by far the best, if having a decent mobile os is important for you then windows phone 7 is the way. If you want both, then just wait a couple of months until the new nokia phones with windows phone 7 come out, those will surely be the best.

@cuplajsu 500 new features in the fall. Be sure to check it out then. It'll be on par with iOS5 and probably even Android(not too sure though). The next generation of Windows Phones(none will be dual-core this year) and Nokia W7 will get here probably in October or November.

WP7 is all original with the most powerful phones and is going to have 500 new features so it's more Android or Symbian(Only features not the look) featured than iOS.

@FukingHero Well if you know about camera then you know the N8 has bigger sensor than most (well, almost all) P&S camera out there, just that you gave up optical zoom in this...

That said, my N8 has a stucked ND filter that doesn't always work, so I say Nokia has their QC issues as well.. :/

I like symbian but nokia needed (Symbian) to improve their hardware. Nokia needs to have an aluminum phone because of their bad reputation in the past (selling super cheap phones costing $50 is pathetic). I try really hard to like Nokia. Symbian may have it's flaws, but it marvels in many aspects too. And it is getting better and better. Still 6 years support. And that is more than enough.

Very good, N8 have best camera ever, and it is daily useful, when you have to capture documents, paintings, and ordinary life, of course. But is have focus problem with snowflakes etc scenes, but problem fixed by CameraPro =)

The camera on the N8 is really that good. I had it for a little while and it definitely did come close to my Olympus digicam. Even my old Nokia N82 was a beast. It easily beats the iphone 4 when coming to picture taking.
