WELDONE.. great soldier your job is your reposability but the good things that you did to MAUBERE. MAUBERE never let it down and the estori will spread like the sun rise of Timor Leste in the life of MAUBERE people...
Thanks for the photos, I know it well, in 1975 exist one militery general quarter of MAUBERE call FERALAFAHEK......
I worked in these villages of Railako Kraik and Seloi, and know all the faces in this video. Each of the people in this lovely slideshow holds a special place for me, and many awesome memories of life with such strong faith and values.
Thank you for letting me see my friends and family in such a lovely slideshow.
Life is precious I know when I get to deal the cards for real these children mean everything to me. I felt we were protecting them from harm-nothing can replace that my feeling is of life its self the soldier cant be measured in actions alone but within her/his self!
Watching this again now I feel so happy inside all that needs to be said 1 RAR op TANAGER 2000 - 2001 barts those special people who read this will know me as barts or begsy. no ass.
thanks for video. the slides are awesum and so does the background tune. I'm an east Timorese going to school in the States. I'm always proud of the country thou the fact that it's going thru lots of difficulties these days.
Beautiful. Nothing more precious in life than the future of children. I love the song too....can you please tell me who it is and the name of the song...the singer sounds familiar but I can't think who.
I was sent to East Timor to do the job of a soldier. I didnt know what to expect with the local population but I came back with two huge memories that will live with me till the day I die. Seeing other human beings on this dear planet waiting for our rubbish to get droped off so they can feed their families. The other the Fantastic sight of over 50 children chasing after our trucks at DILI AIRSTRIP? calling us AUSSY! AUSSY! AUSSY! BON BON MISTA! AQUA MISTA! UNFORGETABLE
I can very much relate to that. I went over to East Timor a few years back now and leaving Ossu a place in the mountains 3 hourse from Baucau, we had 50 odd kids running after us, thanksing us. I took a few photos. This slide has inspired me to make one of my own.
Beautiful country. Hopefully going back soon to teach. Thanks

Thanks in advance.

response to "beautifulpurity" post: I am a big fan of LIVE and this sounds very much like Edward Joel Kowalczyk, the lead vocal of LIVE.
Hope this helps.
merci beaucoup ;-)
