This really brings out the side of Micheal Scott often not seen. He is really just a lonely guy who is socially awkward and often misunderstood. Sure, Micheal is annoying at times, but, at the end of the day he's a good person, and my heart always goes out to him, it's part of the reason The Office is so great.

I think you misunderstand the video. Its not about portraying Michael's lonely/awkward life as humorous (like in the show). Its meant to show just how truly sad of a person he is. He never grew up to have 100 kids or 100 friends. He is terribly, terribly, terribly alone...

In seperate episodes this all seems funny, but when you put it all together you really realize that all he is looking for is love and on this search his is actually unintentionally pushing it all away. He has character flaws that us viewers see but he can't and that makes it all the more tragic when they continue to ruin his life. I just hope that Jan can appreciate him for the social skills-less guy that he is. =] Great video.
