I'm going on my first cruise this June (first time seeing the ocean as well) and your videos are really nice. Curious, though, when are you filming? I notice many times it doesn't seem like anyone is around. Are you at port somewhere or just up early?

@DuskbatRabbit the fantasy seems so much colorful on commercials and stuff...sorry to say this but your vid made me alittle dizzy...its not ur fault..what camcorder did you use on your carnival dream...where did you go on the fantasy wat port did u leave out of...im goin to bermuda from charleston
@cruisesstar22 Sorry i move the camera to fast. when i go on epic my friend says he will help me take better vids. the camcorder is a sony HDR-cx7. On the fantasy the 2nd time i cruised on her left from Mobile AL to cozumel and playa del carmen. will upload the vids after the dream set
@DuskbatRabbit It's not a problem. I like the Carnival Dream vids they are amazing and in good definition. Mine arn't if you see the Sensation videos. When I go on the Carnival Fantasy and Navigator of the Seas I know I will have a new camra by then. It's a Canon SD1100...I used it on my last trip to Flordia =) Watch the vids if you want

You're right that people think of Holiday as tiny and Titanic as huge, and there are real problems with that logic. But, Holiday isn't 2-3x as large as Titanic. Titanic was around 150 feet longer than Holiday and displaced about 52k tons. Holiday is around 46k tons. So they are roughly the same size. The new Oasis of the Seas is a 225 ton ship. (!!!) Btw, Holiday has now been transferred to Iberocruceros to begin service in Europe. You can see the new Holiday on their website.

If you look at the entire island of Cozumel on Google Earth, most of it is undeveloped. There is one main highway that crosses the island east / west....I think it is called Benito Juaraz in the city. If you take it out to the east side of the island, the beaches and water are amazing. Very few people around, too. There are quite a few places in the city where you can rent a car or jeep and navigating is pretty easy.
It is so cool to see the newly rennovated Fantasy, I go every june but every since they Dry Docked her in October I havent been on it to see the changes. Was Big Tex still there?
This ship is very large, (roughly 2 or 3 times the size of the titanic), but is actually one of the smallest ships left in Carnival's fleet! (about half the tonnage of the newest ships!) It only seems empty because it's the morning of a "port day". All guests (roughly 2,000) are either still asleep or visiting Cozumel.
im going on this ship in august of 2012 i cant wait. it will be my 5th cruise but im just excited as if it was my first.

the fantasy looks very different from the time I sailed, I sailed on Fantasy when they
were doing the Bahamas route, Freeport & Nassau, sailing from Port Canaveral (2003), ship looks nice though, THANKS for the tour !
