turkeys cant kill you but you ever have one of them spurs it ha you will know it just like on a rooster lol i would love to have been there tho grab it and run with it lol maybe both lol
crazy bastards, wtf are they attacking you for, just standing there looking at them, what ass holes. I wouldn't want to be living in that house, the people inside have probably been trapped inside for days, maybe they were trying to communicate to you but you didn't see as you rode off. Armed only with a water noodle they reflect on how what seemed at first to be a nice gathering of cute turkeys ends more like a bad zombie movie.
Spiders, robots, zombies, ghosts, swamp beasts, plants, snakes... We have alot of horror movies but the greatest one is still to be properly caught on tape... The Turkeynators!
I used to have several Turkeys and they are the most loving pet I ever had. They really loved me. The wild ones just have to be careful because they know people are after them.
Thank heaven you were able to escape! My word, what monstrous beings! To say this could happen to anyone where there be huge turkeys invading a quiet neighborhood! Indeed, do not, I repeat, do not carry turkey lunch meat with you!!
must be BIRD FLU laced Turkeys....that's why no one hunting them....or just some PETA LOVER family members gone array hanging outside their home...LOL!
I"m not a vegetarian, I actually eat more meat than anyone I know (as a % of my diet). I don't mind if someone else kills the turkey for me. And as for the vegetables with emotions, cut the crap. Any type of thinking requires nerve cells, which arose in chnidarians (jellyfish). Emotion only exists in mammals, since their evolution added another huge layer to the brain. this layer has the structures that create "feelings." Anger and fear are more primitive though.
Haha that was hilarious. Serves you right for eating them. I loved the line about how your mom has plastic flamingoes in her yard, not real live turkeys.
The flash of bicycle wheel at the end is priceless.
I'm so glad you posted this video. Three tom turkeys frightened me one morning at the bus stop. A week or so later a group of over 20 started approaching me while waiting for my bus. I ran down the road to get away from them. My boyfriend thought I was a wimp. I showed him your video. He agrees that they are a bit intimidating, but he thinks he'd just stand there. Wish I could find them on weekends to call him on it.
That was way cool! I could hold the video for you next time so you could observe and narrate the whole thing complete with an Australian accent - in homage to Steve Irwin :)))
I captured their attack and my harrowing escape on video, while I was on my bike, so I could really move as they came after me... very frightening, lol.
You can see them begin to stalk me early, and they scope out and begin to stalk down their prey. They slowly inch closer and closer, trying to remain casual before they strike.
Also, I just realized that I packed my lunch today, and it was no other than..... a TURKEY sandwich.
@OS253 yeah man they can fly up about twenty feet. they do that because they sleep in high trees. i love hunting them, but i love just watching them as well, def my favorite animal.
@74bowhunter: What part of the country do wild turkeys live? In the southern USA? I don't want to hunt them. I just want to see them in real life. I'm a photographer. I love taking pictures of birds.
@OS253 they live everywhere. i live in georgia and we have them here. i know that theyre in every state in the southeast and i know that they have them up north. I aint too sure about the west coast though
@OS253 Wild turkeys live all over my area. Moms with babies come into my yard now and then. They can fly extremely well even as very young chicks!. :)
@thefreaknj you were freakin lucky... they do that tippie toe thing right before they peck the snot balls out of you. i have always believed that the reason we eat them was someone got pissed at one of them attacking them so they killed and ate it.
Awww...they're so cute and yummy. I wish they try to attack me so I can have a turkey buffet dinner.

I wrote my original comment last February. It is interesting to see the "-2".
I am supposing the people who clicked the thumbs down eat....SOMETHING in order to exist - probably "vegetarians".
Scientists have known for many years that vegetables PROBABLY have feelings. emotions.
What is going to happen when this becomes common knowledge & vegitarians have nothing to eat?
Eating is nature. We need it to live. Without death there would be no life - at all.
t4705mb6 2 years ago
I"m not a vegetarian, I actually eat more meat than anyone I know (as a % of my diet). I don't mind if someone else kills the turkey for me. And as for the vegetables with emotions, cut the crap. Any type of thinking requires nerve cells, which arose in chnidarians (jellyfish). Emotion only exists in mammals, since their evolution added another huge layer to the brain. this layer has the structures that create "feelings." Anger and fear are more primitive though.
