  • I wish so much that i could play this game :(

  • this music must be in last light :)

  • 1/ Search "rainymood" on Google.

2/ Click on the first link.

    3/ Play the music.

    4/ Enjoy it.

  • I remember you, you're. Best.

  • is that link save????

  • I never knew you were exposed to run from the librarians... lol.... I killed them all and they were a pain.

  • @tacoman2244 same xD but i was screamin the whooole time

  • @tacoman2244 supposed?

  • Now That's What i Proudly Call a Game !

  • Awesome track :) btw purchased metro 2033 on steam now ^^ :)

  • Those damn librarians. First time in the library and i forgot what to do when encountering them :D. ran like a maniac forward and backwards and ended up hiding in a bathroom

  • I try finding this one that link and it doesnt take me to it and when i put in the search, nothing comes up

  • Reminds me quite a lot of the Half-Life 2 soundtrack. Which is awesome.

  • why do I like this game? Because I always wanted to start writting a book wich it's action set in a post apocaliptyc world in the subways here in my country hahahahahahaha

  • I am looking forward to the next game. Metro is a Gem that i think was one of the truly great SINGLE player games out there, dare i say better than Half Life

  • Is it me, or the picture's quality really changes?

  • @WarHammer3451 yeah it does

  • 7 people should SHUT THE FUCK UP with those '7 people' comments

  • which moment in the game it was?

  • i love the dark ones

  • Tout a fait théo c'est une merveille

  • Book-Hunter gave Artyom a Cartridge with sealed top

game-Hunter gave him dog tag??...either way, game is cool.

  • I WANT A GAME SOMEWHERE BETWEEN STALKER AND METRO 2033. SOMEONE DO IT.

  • 7 people saw a Kremlin star...

  • 7 people try to kill the gost in the metro.

  • "No more gas masks

    No more exit paths

    Only you and me, Artyom"

    -Deadly Gas

  • i have a poster of this in my room except his gun is down

  • But I am just saying it is old because it has been out for a while, I have nothing against it, I love these types of games and this music. :D

  • 7 people stared down a librarian...and lost

  • @lordmasterization I did too once and she stared at me back, so I stared harder ad she said "detention". I walked away and said to myself closely, "fucking staring contests, I win but I get a punishment in the end". Like if you have done this before

  • @SuperLycan24 I'm not sure whether you don't quite understand the meaning of "librarian" in this context or whether you did it on purpose ;p

  • @lordmasterization Librarian + Volt Driver = dead librarian

  • metal gear solid is old, but it is awesome still. Just like this game. Just like the old Metro book.

  • such an old game

  • @SuperLycan24

Not even three years... Half-Life is still epic, and it's 15.

  • @AmfleetII Too bad Half-life 2 hasn't aged as well. Well, neither has HL1 for that matter. Both have great integration of cinematics into interactivity and clever little puzzles, but the gunplay always felt weak, especially in the second. That's always been my gripe with the HL series; the guns feel ineffectual, regardless of their application and actual effectiveness. Metro, however, nailed "meaty" guns for me.

  • can't wait for the new metro game comes out

  • I like the background picture where do you find it i can't find a good 1 on bing nor google

  • @Arcticalreconwolf gamesrocket(dot)com/download/Metro-2033(dot)html

  • I play CoD, yea. But this game reigns above it!

  • i was waiting for games like stalker and metro since years...

    now we have them...

indeed...they have all kind of downsides...

    but let's face it...

would you prefer call of duty or medal of honor instead of post apocalyptic games made in russia...?

the russians maybe are not so versed in ai implementation...

but...brothers...they can implement YOU in the game...

the russians still have soul for gaming...

in our beloved west...soul is gone...

    all is for the money...

  • @aeschmann What do you think about RAGE, Bioshock, Fallout and Bulletstorm?

  • @Dererer008 first...shame on me...i didn't played rage ...nor bulletstorm...

fallout and bioshock are distopias too...but in a very our western style...

    somehow...they lack in feeling...in soul...

russians captured the nostalgia...the regret...the memory of another world...maybe not better...but the world we all know...

    here ...i guess...is the difference...

    or...more honestly...i just don't know...

  • I like this. It's got that 'alone' feel, and then it's like.......... or NOT?

  • TcherNoBile left traces in Ukraine

  • Metro gets 10/10 on atmosphere, but the humanoid vs humanoid combat could do with a massive improvement.

fighting beasts is fun, but humans are just tactically inept aimbot drones with night vision sitting there. You might as well replace them with automatic turrets.

  • wI want them to still keep the clean rounds as money, that was fun.

  • Any one here who has dis'd S.T

A.L.K.E.R, the Devil is waiting for you.

  • i almost came when they announced Metro: Last Light, because i knew we'd get more amazing soundtrack goodness.

  • your all a bunch of JACKASS's becuase how can you call Half life 2 bad........i bet you never played it

  • @pagerage64 you cant compare metro 2033 with half life 2, i mean they are diferent one each other but half life kinda bores me because you have to pass trough large parts of driving vehicles and so it makes the game itself long and boring.

  • @pagerage64 HL2 is good, it's just that you don't really form a connection between yourself and Gordon Freeman, he's just another character to me, personally. :L

  • I hate Gordon Freeman. Unlike other faceless protagonists (say, Artyom, who narrates his own story), Gordon is literally a walking gun turret to me. Since Valve doesn't like true cutscenes in Half-life, they have no chance to really give Gordon any characterization. Artyom may only say one word in-game (fuck), but he narrates his own story, and you get a feel for his character through that.

  • Fckin perfect story, postapocaliptyc after nuclear war is best type of books/movies/games

  • steam is great yeh

  • When does this play in the game? Seriously. D:

  • @SinicBackUp none of the ost play in the game

  • @jeefry778 there just bad ass

  • @BladeLigerV they are

  • @jeefry778 like 3 of them do but this and others that are really good arent in the game but they were made for it

  • Amazing game.

  • love metro 2033

  • if only there were more games like metro...... cod and all those other games are ruining the shooter type games because all you do is run in and shoot there is no kind of choice

  • @Darkreconisence Why does everyone keep raging on CoD all the time?

Yes, metro is better, but Call of Duty has decent graphics, good gameplay, the animations are good, the gun sounds are a bit shit to be honest, but it's not a tactical war simulation, it's a fucking GAME.

you want a shit shooter to compare things to, try Haze, Soldier of Fortune, Timeshift, Jericho.

THEY are truly shit games. Not games people say are bad just to look cool.

  • @IonizedRasputin i was not saying that to sound cool dont get me wrong i dont mind call of duty but it doesn't have as much of a story as metro and when i play games i prefer to have a balence of actoin and story so i am sorry if what i said was a repeted comment worded diferently and i did not want to sound like an ass so again i am sorry

  • @Darkreconisence I know, don't worry, I wasn't attacking you. It's just every single video game video on here has some sort of call of duty hate comment.

It's not like the video equivalent of justin bieber. Call of Duty has redeeming features. Bieber has none.

  • @IonizedRasputin lol true enough

  • @IonizedRasputin

A truly shitty game, is Half life 2. My friend's a fag for liking it. It's probably worse than those games.

  • @ChimeraKing555 i wasn't talking about half life 2. but it is kinda crap.

  • @IonizedRasputin

I know right? Who wants to play as some gay ass scientist solving puzzles. Puzzles are for faggots, and Valve is terrible. Shit's almost as bad as Stalker.

  • @Darkreconisence Call of Duty does have an average campaign mostly, the Multiplayer is a complete letdown, ever since MW2 it has ruined the franchise completely, Since i've played Metro and know it to be an awesome game, I can't wait for Metro: Last Night.

  • @Darkreconisence S.T.A.L.K.E.R - similer to Metro 2033

  • @Darkreconisence I both agree and disagree with you. I like CoD, I think it's fun. Dumb fun with no real thought provocation, but fun. CoD has it's place but it's place needs to be a smaller place, while masterpieces like Metro need more publicity. Especially Metro, it's a bloody work of art!

  • @Darkreconisence o and i this game you dont run and shoot a ?

  • @TheDaryusx did u even play ?

  • @Darkreconisence metro was epic , is , and will be

  • @Darkreconisence Well, there IS Bioshock, which builds upon this. I.E. why you, in the game, obey without question. 'Would you kindly' & all that.

  • This song is beautiful as it shows the serenity within the Metro and the loneliness that haunts it.

  • @TheMasterMedic1

tats what i love about the music it reflects the desolate sights of the game that is what makes it such a masterpiece

  • Love this game and the music, everything is beautiful about it.... I hope the next metro game doesn't leave its roots!

  • I can understand the dislikes. Not everybody survived the Metro...

  • @puredemoniczick Fuck, I know that style. Bandits.

    Gah, fuck it! Lets go!

    *moves finger to like button*

    *accidentally clicks dislike*

    *hears knock at the door*

    *opens door to find librarian*

"Yo, I heard about your dislike. Stare me down. I dare you, I double dare you motherfucker."

  • This game, this book (2033, 2034, and i thing that Piter), i FUCKIN great. This postapocaliptyc view of world, sparta base, lol, i like how programmers in game make stations. Some wooden "houses", shops, etc.

BEST BOOK EVER!!! GLUKSHOVSKY U RE GOD OF BOOK'S WRITER!

  • Story, Graphic and homemade weapons that is why i love this game. S.T.A.L.K.E.R series are great too but Metro 2033 is my fav. Russian Apocaliptic game.

  • @TheRudyCz STALKER is Ukraine post apocaliptic game :D That's all most the same :D But Metro is better!

  • @SeRgA123456789 You compared a non-linear RPG+FPS game to an extremely linear pure FPS game. That is just...nonsense, isn't it? I believe each game has its good things, and bad things as well.

  • @Forte2610 Yes... each game got good and bad things.... That is what I'm saying since I was like 9 or 10 :D And, I didn't compare them.... I was just saying.... Don't take me wrong....

  • @SeRgA123456789 Sorry for taking you wrong then. Apparently you prefer Metro 2033 to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. :D I personally enjoy S.T.A.L.K.E.R. more.

  • @Forte2610 U'r choice.... U play what u like more :D

  • @TheRudyCz Silly you, STALKER is based in Ukraine, Metro is the only Russian based apocalyptic game i know, shame it couldn't keep more to the book, but they had a good transition from book to game.

  • in soviet russia!!!! umm, something you would do will uh happen to you instead, yeah, thats right, in soviet russia only!!!

  • I have never heard of this game and really don't know what it is. Then why am I here?

It's because I heard this masterpiece of a song and just had to look it up so I could play it again and again and again and again and again and again...

  • @TurtleShroom You should get this game. Oh and try the STALKER series. I recommend them friend ^_^

  • @megamanangel

Meh. I've never been a fan of shooting and warefare games like that. Call me old-fashioned, but I get my kicks out of things like Mario, Pokemon, SimCity, and Tropico. Also, if Metro 2033 is rated M, I won't buy it for personal religious/moral reasons of my own choosing.

-but that doesn't mean I can't play this on loop all day.

  • @megamanangel

  • @TurtleShroom Aww thats too bad... Metro is more of a tunnel cruising so yeah its not so open up game like Fallout or STALKER. But you can choose not to shoot at all during the games. It just makes it harder and olmost impossible. STALKER you can choose not to fire at all and just run. But if you dont want warfare or games with shooting guns. Try The Elder Scrolls. It goes back to the medieval ages.

  • @megamanangel

Well, it's not really the guns or the shooting that bothers me. It's just the fact that it's (possibly) a M-rated game, and the entire object is to gun down people. I have no objection to the usage of weaponry in video games, I just prefer games that don't require me as the main player to go out on a rampage and gun down my foes.

  • @TurtleShroom

if you like you could try to stroke your foes softly but quite frankyl i dont think this game has that option and i dont think the enemies would be too keen on it

  • @TurtleShroom Well.. In Metro you dont go just blindly firing in. You have the options to choose how you move. You can go the whole game without shooting anyone. Olmost. You can sneak by or then just rush in like a maniac. In STALKER. You have the same options like in Fallout. Choose your own way of playing it. You can use the gun when you are attacked and need it. Otherwise you can just pretty much run trough it.

  • @megamanangel

There are sequences in the game that require you to handle mass enemy attacks (primarily when you're with other npcs), but you're right; and this is definitely not a typical fps. You don't just blindly annihilate anything that comes into your path. It's strategic and beautiful, and focuses on basic survival needs, unlike those other shit fps clones I see major companies pumping out.

  • @AyaTeien You are indeed right. There are about only four games that I prefer. Well 5 when Metro Last Light comes out as a game. Fallout series, Elder scrolls series, Metro, STALKER. Actually that makes 4 from Fallout. 4-5 from Elder scrolls and 2 from Metro + Board game and 3 from STALKER 4 when and if it releases one more game.

  • @megamanangel

I just downloaded the first Stalker. Hoping it's going to be good.

  • @AyaTeien The first STALKER is somewhat different to the two after it. I can tell that Call of Pripyat is far different than Shadow of chernobyl.

  • @megamanangel

I chose the first one primarily because it looked more disturbing, but that might be due to the trailer. I did look at all three of the games, and the first seemed to have the best atmosphere (correct me if I'm wrong).

  • @AyaTeien Best atmosphere eh? Well I'd have to say that Pripyat has it. Oh and I highly suggest getting the Stalker complete 2009 mod. It raises the graphs a bit, adds better effects to overall make the game look better and a bit easier to use. It also fixes AI bugs and that and adds a special 'Comet' look it up on youtube.

  • @megamanangel

    I wish I would have known that before I bought just the first game. ; n;

  • @AyaTeien PSSST! I never buy them lol. Totally a pirater XP If I like them then I may buy them. Test then best.

  • @megamanangel

I really should. It's all Steam's fault. I just fucking impulse buy on that site. ;p

  • @AyaTeien Don't buy from steam silly~~ Buy them from the store not from steam haha!

  • @megamanangel

Why not? ;____; Steam is good for co-op / multiplayer shit, for noobs like me who have issues setting all that up. Yeah, sometimes I can't help but feel like I'm being ripped off. Don't get me wrong, Steam has epic sales, but for some of these solo games, I should just buy them from a game store, because they're just as fucking expensive online without the casing and booklets, etc.

  • @AyaTeien Not really. From what I have noticed I get the games cheaper when I buy them from stores and not from STEAM. For instance If I buy from TILT I can get (Lets say metro just came out ) Metro cheaper than from steam if it would come out. Besides STEAM is failing right now badly and crashing.

  • @megamanangel

That's what I'm saying. Aside from their great sales, Steam is expensive for what you get. Bear in mind, they did just have Metro 2033 for 75% off, so it ended up being like $5, but who is going to wait for games to go on sale? And they seem to prompt sales fucking DIRECTLY after I buy the damn games. What is TILT? o: Imma see.

  • @AyaTeien TILT is a game store here in the north,

  • this game WAS, IS and will EVER BE, totally and completly AWESOMEEEEEEE!

  • @Thyunda I already read both books... 2 times .... they are awsome *-*

  • i hear most of those ost's and don't remember actually hearing them in the game... Guess they just fit so well you don't notice them...

  • @mkzhero they didnt put on the game

    dont ask me why

  • All Soldiers die alone.........

  • all the saddness and heroism in the face of impossibility drew me to the metro game. going to deffinately get the books once theyre translated or learn to read russian. by the gods i love this game

  • @tony19893994 Metro 2033 has been translated. I'm reading it now. And even though it's not in its original language - it's still pretty damn scary.

  • So far, the only thing i've seen that sucks in M2033 is the FoV, which is 40, crazy, i set it to 70 and it's WAY better.

  • this is one of my favorite games of all time!

  • i cant stop hitting replay, is that good or bad?

  • viva la revution - да здравствует революция - long live the revolution

  • BEST OST

  • my favorite part 2:30

  • amazing songgggggggg

  • In soviet Russia you use nukes to fix nukes.

  • I cream'd a little when the bass cut in

  • seenging paipz

  • @LeviRHogan

    XDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • I never heard this music in the game..

  • flood wuz here

  • Never forget your fallen comrades. fight til everyone of you die!!

  • if the world ends I wanna be in Russia not in Usa like in Fallout. It's more fun in Russia even if you die.

  • @Raddin619 Nah, fallout is kinda happy, metro is kinda depressing... wanna live in a happy devasted world

  • @UnknownJIMMY96 Yeah, but you have to find water purification chips and GECK's. :))

  • @Raddin619

If Fallout had Metro's graphical style, but it kept Fallout's wacky and visceral gameplay, it would be one of the best games of all time.

  • @WooopDaShooop I'd pay just to see the trailer of that game

  • @WooopDaShooop You're right. I can't wait for TES: Skyrim. It has to be something revolutionary in gameplay and graphics. Bethesda Game Studios makes open-world games awesome. I wish Bethesda Game Studios and Crytek should make a game together.

  • @Raddin619 What does Skyrim have to do with Metro 2033?

  • @n00bAnkka234 Nothing. But it has to be a great game.

  • @Raddin619 Aside from the fact that Bethesda is developing it mainly for the consoles.

  • @n00bAnkka234 Hows that a down side.

  • @robloxREAL Crappy interface and controls.

  • @n00bAnkka234 It's not crappy it's different...

  • Am I missing something? I don't remember this from the game at all.

  • @Gharren yes i am, but the way you worded it made you sound like you were going to physically "throw" the missiles. My mistake, i didnt know that throw also meant drop. geez.

  • re-isntalling the game just for the memories the soundtrack gave me

  • si es hostil, matalo

  • Some people call them bitches. I call them dislikers.

  • i really enjoyed this game it was fun to play and makes you imagine the possibility of a future like this (which makes sense) sad that it was not famous but surely deserved to be .Make a movie of it damn it !

i dont know how to write his name but i can still remember their shouting ....

    artiom look out !

  • @shadowfax1903 Its Artyom, and Metro 2033 is famous, the game is after the book, which was translated to English, and then made into the game. You should get the book, its a 100x better then the game.

  • @XxXsantajewXxX i get your point and thx for the name but i have meant that the game didnt make it too far which is truly shame it surely deserves more .and thx for the book advice will look for it .

  • @XxXsantajewXxX I'm reading it right now, but as I absolutely loved the book, I can't wait to see how similar and different they are.

  • @RC1312Kad good luck :p

  • In Poland, Dark Ones not will exist.

We drink too much alcohol for this creatures.
