  • Is the 100% toner in a glass bottle?

  • So if you weren't going to actually show your routine or put on any of the products you didn't need to be makeup free (although you have amazing skin!). Do any of your videos show how you actually put on the products? I'd love to see that.

  • @ll42863 The idea was never to apply the products. Applying skincare in a video is pointless. It doesn't show anything & if someone doesn't know how to apply moisturizer, they're beyond my help. *lol* The reason I wasn't wearing any makeup was I had just washed my face and in having just washed my face, I figured it was as good a time as any to do this video, as well as to show the difference between my skin with & without makeup . I didn't think a reason beyond that was necessary.

  • @pinkiecharm Well ok then I guess "I" made a pointless video because I recently did one where I was wearing no makeup and applied my serum and moisturizer just to show how I did it. Some of my favorite videos to watch are those where people show how to apply the makeup. I was just saying how I would love to see you apply some of the makeup you review and are wearing. Do you have any videos like that? I haven't seen any or maybe I'm missing them

  • @ll42863 I think applying skincare products in a video is pointless but that doesn't mean everyone thinks the same way. I don't think doing so teaches anyone anything so I don't plan to do a video like that. Again, this is just my own opinion. I don't normally post application videos. My channel is about reviews, and application videos and tutorials aren't something I'm interested in doing what with the 7217608547593759 others already on YouTube. :D

  • @pinkiecharm Ha ha you are funny 7217608547593759...I like your sense of humor. Ok well I still enjoy your videos very much and like the reviews and I always know if there is something I need to see a review for you probably have it since it seems you have pretty much everything LOL. I just love the way you did your eyeshadow in a few vids so I was hoping to see a tutorial but I get it...that's not your thing

  • @pinkiecharm So technically you don't really need to film yourself at all, why not just film the products via zooming in and swatching them? I've don't watch your Review videos unless I know I'm specifically looking for a product like that because I actually find watching people apply makeup (including skin care) quite informative. Sorry to be a negative nelly, but as one of your subbies, I thought you should know we'd like to see you actually apply the products you review. Thanks.

  • @mermerbee I wasn't reviewing anything. This was not even titled "review." And while I appreciate your input, I feel there's no point in my applying skincare products and so I won't be doing these kinds of videos. There's nothing to be seen or taught by my doing so. Also, I don't feel as if application is part of what I do. I post reviews-not applications/tutorials/how-to/etc.

  • I agree with you 100% about using a toner - couldn't live without it. Have you tried the Lumene toners? They are amazing!

  • At 15:29 I think you said honey from a hunny bear LOL. That really make me giggle :-)

  • would you wear the cucumber eye cream before going to bed?

  • @fairylove2007 I apply eye cream each time I wash my face.

  • i can see how purity would be loved by people with your skintype..i almost loved it but eventually it just exasterbated acne..it did not give it any terrible reactions though..i might try the gel one they have but..i don't know prob. close to the same thing

  • btw...I cant find the night calming wipes but all the other neutrogena wipes I have tried by this brand turned out evil and broke me out bad! So i won't be trying that one..I would like to say LOVE the ponds wipes all of them..love the citrus ones and sooo good and gentle for your skin!

  • HI..i have been having problems recently with the clinique balm and keep in mind I have very oily skin: I have lately been wearing eye makeup and thus have something to use it for (I can only use this oil prod to take off my eye makeup)..i have been using it consistently..but my eyes have been getting very dry..mind you it could be from another product I have been using on my eyes..have you had this prob?

  • I think you look great without makeup! It's not something many of us can pull off!

  • you know there are ppl (us) spend lots of money just the way you look with out make up . your skin is amazing and you have the personality which makes immposible to hate you . i am full of jealousy ... love you xoxo

  • Are you planning on trying the 100% Pure Jasmine Green Tea facial cleanser and moisturizer? I would love to hear your opinions on the whole green tea line! Thanks!

  • Thanks for the video. I'm always interested in hearing about others skincare routine. I do have a question for you - what ever happened to the tarte serum/oil you talked about a couple months back? I've been waiting for you to do a follow up review and thought for sure I'd see it in here. Did you not care for it? I would love to hear your thoughts on the product. Thanks!

  • I have to tell you I can always tell you are wearing makeup, and it is always beautifully and tastefully done. So many times when I'm watching your videos I notice how pretty your skin is or how your eyeshadow simply makes your eyes stand out. I think the people who make those comments watch too many of those tutorial videos that I stopped watching a long time ago, since I'm 36 and would never be seen in public like that anyways.

  • have you ever tried the Target brand of the Neutrogena eye makeup remover? the only reason I ask is because I tried it and it broke my skin out to no end. It was awful and was curious if its just the target brand thats too harsh for my dry skin ?

  • oh thank you so so so much irene. My skin has been so dry lately. Thank you for showing this!!!!

  • I am obsessed with skin care too! Are skintype is polar opposite.. But purity is good product for you cuz you are not oily acne prone... I use the clinique balm to remove eye makeup only ( don't put it on my face or it is a disaster)

  • You look better than me without makeup and I'm 23 x___x

  • pinkie! please do a review on the bath and body works red white and blue pocket bac hand gels!! pleasseee!

  • when you said mia, i had a spaz attack because my name is mia... haha <3

  • @pinkiecharm

Haha I Think That Purity Smells Like A Lemon Cleaning Product!

  • @TheAnila54321 It sucks, and it burns your skin, and it smells terrible.

  • Could you do a review of the Olay Pro RX cleansing system thingie?

I know you have a clarisonic but could you possibly compare them, since Olay seems to be comparing it's system to the clarisonic.

    Thank you Miss Irene!

  • your skin is gorgeous

  • you look great with or without make up :)

  • your face is flawless without makeup!!

  • Can you review tarte's true blood palette and lip tint??? And mac's semiprecious :)

  • I love how creamy your skin is I'm jealous I have acne scars and stubborn freckles from sun damage.

  • You have gorgeous skin!

  • you're so beautiful! your skin is flawless!! very pretty without makeup, stunnnnninggg !

  • You are so beautiful without makeup!

and wow I love all the products that you use :]

  • I really like your videos. Thanks for being so clear and detailed :)

  • lol. "it made me feel like a piece of chicken"

  • didnt know that they have "water boof"! lol!! that was funny!!

  • When do you recommend starting a "skincare regimen" to be preventative about aging? If you're in your teens (19) like I am. Or am I way too young to worry now?

  • @youaremyhopexox I don't think it's really ever too early to start adding at least one preventative aging product to your routine. It's much "easier to prevent than to repair", as someone famous (I don't remember who) once said. I should look seriously into something else for my own routine but have put it off for what reason I don't know. *lol* Looking younger than we are is something that runs in my family so I guess I haven't thought too seriously about it.

  • Could you please do a review on the Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Correcting Concealer Trio? (longest name EVER lol) thanks in advance!

  • The Korres mask SAVED my skin a few years ago. I had a horrible drying reaction to something and the only thing that was able to rehydrate it and bring it back to life was this mask. Great products in your routine :)

  • how old are you.

  • i'd like a more in depth review on those 100% pure products, sounds like they have some good stuff but i've never heard of the brand before i saw this video, don't even know where I would find them. But if you have any more skincare products from that brand please do share :)

  • @TheLolgirl25 I'm sure you can as it's pretty gentle but I don't use it everyday because over-exfoliation makes my skin more dry.

  • I have combo.oily skin and am using 100% Pure's purity toner, but I can't stand the smell ><, otherwise their skincare has been working really well for me. I love their coffee bean eye cream, I can smell it all day lol

  • Ive used plain rosewater as a toner for years and I love it! It's cheap and soothing and gentle love it!

  • The hope in a jar...I love the texture but I just could not get over the smell. it's noxious to me

  • Hi Irene! I was wondering if you could review waterproof mascara's and say which ones are the best in your opinion. Cause summer is coming up, and I have never used a water proof mascara before and I want to get one but I need to know what is recommended. thanks!

  • @IndieDream231 Any drugstore brand waterproof mascara is good, at least all the ones I've tried have been good.

  • @pinkiecharm Thank you!

  • I wish I even knew what serum I should be using... or how to use it and not go overboard? It confuses me. I don't even know what 'ph level means...! Argh! I'm so ditzy!

  • I wish I looked as nice as you do, without makeup! :)

  • Can u review the clarasonic?

  • Thanks for doing this video - VERY helpful! I have tried every serum under the sun - high end and low - and I keep going back to Loreal Youth Code serum...I just love it! It's about $22 and lasts a month or so. With my dry skin, it's the one that feels the best and I've had the best results with. I'm going to try the cucumber eye gel for sure and possibly a few of your other favorites. Oh I forgot to ask, can you do a review on oxygen masks like the one from Bliss or Philosophy? Thanks!

  • I love how you put a disclaimer at the beginning of each of your videos!

Question tho, have you ever used Cold Cream to remove make up?

  • @PezzQT Sometimes the disclaimers are necessary so as not to confuse anyone. And yes, I have used cold cream to remove my makeup. I like Ponds but it tends to leave my face feeling a little slick so I don't use it often.

  • I think it's good because it goes to show you have fantastic skin and so much natural beauty, makeup is just a bettering option for you rather than a necessity! This was very interesting for me to watch, because my skin is becoming more dry lately (it used to be normal). Thanks for another great video! (:

  • you have amazing skin lucky girl!

  • Gorgeous skin! Makeup just enhances it.

  • I love Hope in Jar! I have really dry skin too, and I made the mistake of buying the heavier one. It did indeed make my skin oily. I just use it at night now because it doesn't combine well with my make up. Ahh well. Great skin care routine, thank for sharing!

  • the only thing that i can see a difference in is your eyes haha. your face looks exactly the same, you're lucky.

  • you look so good without makeup! i wish i was like that.

  • you should do a house door or OOTD!:)

  • you still look great with out make up! :)

  • hello i was wondering if you could do a review on bobbi brown's pot rouge and too faced chocolate soleil bronzer and too faced aqua cream splash proof bronzer? i know you included it in an overview but it'd be nice to see a full video on it . thanks (:

  • you're gorgeous

  • Goodness! Quit being so hard on yourself. When I clicked on this video I actually said dang she has nice skin etc,,. I had no idea you had no make-up on, I thought you just didn't have eyemake up on, I didn't know you didn't HAVE ANYTHING ON. Girlfriend you look good.

    Regards,

    Tasha

  • You look the same without makeup. That is a compliment! No need to justify wearing makeup...we just can't tell, because your skin looks flawless regardless.

  • I cannot find the Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover. I looked for it at two stores today, one of them being Walgreens, and couldn't find it. Erg.

  • @meadowfrance try Target! :)

  • You look beautiful without make up :).

  • have you tried bioderma? its amazing!

    love your videos!

  • MAKEUP COLLECTIONNN

  • you have an amazing skin !!!

  • well the reason the Mac serum isn't clear is because it protects the ingredients in the container from dissolving, So it works out better for you and your skin! ;] xxxx

  • You look so good without makeup! :)

  • i have an idea! to review other skin type products (such as oily)...get some guinea pigs...like us to do it. i volunteer! :) thumbs up if you like this idea!

  • I have the neutrogena night calmin makeup removin wipes! I love them so much & use them every night! (:

  • Have you noticed whether the eye cream has actually soothed your eyes after being on the computer or watching on the TV for long periods of time?

  • @xcgurl08 Yes it does! It feels very refreshing and slightly cooling on the skin plus moisturizes and smooths the area.

  • you should try origins a perfect world serum! it has anti-oxidants that is great for anti-aging and overall skin health! even they're eye cream is awesome!! its great for dry-er skin types! Also their Dr. Weil Megamushroom moisturizers are Uh-mazing! I have combination skin type and they have a lotion for those, but for dryer skin types they have a cream version which I think you'll enjoy! :) You should look into it :) my skin has improved so much and its not as sensitive thnx to their products

  • I bought the clarisonic mia to treat myself... mine is pink and I love it!!!

  • You are so naturally beautiful!

  • I got the Clarosonic Plus brush back in April and I feel the same way about it! How did I ever survive without it? I have combination skin and acne-prone skin and the brush has changed my skin for the better. I still get the occasional breakout but they heal faster now. If I couldn't use my brush I would never feel like my face is clean.

It is an investment for sure, but it is totally worthwhile!

  • I am envious of ur skin!!

  • can you do a comparison/ review on both the philosophy made simple and cetephil please? :)

  • You don't look so much different without makeup, which is great! :) I wish I had as clear skin as you (I get really bad red splotches probably 4/7 days a week, so just a little redness would be a godsend ;D)

Aaaalso I love hearing your skincare overviews :) I feel like a lot of gurus have oily skin and mine's a desert so it's great to hear some more recommendations :)

  • I see the difference. I get comments like this all the time. I feel like I wear a ton but honestly nobody realizes I wear it until they see me without it.

  • The mile-long disclaimer at the beginning should not be necessary... But I know it is.. people ask things they should ask their dermatologist! BUT kuddos to you for taking the time to say it :) xoxo Daniela

  • You look lovely without makeup. Truly, I don't see what you see. Your makeup enhances your lovely skin.

  • no makeup?! my gosh, look how pretty you are!

  • Irene, don't worry about proving to anyone that you do or don't wear makeup. People just shoot their mouths off online because there's no accountability. I bet you they wouldn't have the guts to say shit to you in person. Anyway, great video!! :)

  • Hydrating* not hurrahing...sorry

  • Have you ever tried Thayer's witch hazel the rose one is awesome for hurrahing skin, with rose water the have many different "flavors" and they are all natural!! Love your videos they are what I look forward to most on my subscriptions!

  • I think without makeup, your still bad as hell :)

*bad as hell means your awesome*

  • your sooo pretty with and without makeup! :)

  • try hope in a jar for dry skin by phillosiphy

  • u look nice without makeup 2

  • great video thanks!!!

  • i have dry skin as well, you have no idea how much i appriciate your opinion on these products. Thanks, love your vids

  • I have very oily skin, and I use the Clinique cleansing balm too. It's absolutely amazing, and I have found that my breakouts have reduced since I started using it. (Obviously I wash my face afterwards as well.)

  • You have flawless skin!

  • you should try philosophy keep the peace it is awesome!

  • so pretty even without makeup :) and its a good thing

  • I have acne pron oily skin and I use a witch hazel and tea tree toner, I love it and it is very necessary to my skin! :)

  • I love that eye makeup remover!!!

  • are you kidding me? you look just as stunning as always! crazy woman :)

  • can you do a review on the yes tu cucumbers line?

  • If you like the thicker toners, I would suggest looking into Asian beauty products. Especially Japanese ones. Lotions are a huge part of their skincare regimen. They are definitely thicker than the usual toners, don't contain alcohol and they have an almost gel-like consistency. I highly recommend Hada Labo's Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion. It makes the skin instantly soft! :D

  • @alterna I've heard that about Asian brand toners. I remember Shiseido having one, which I think is how I found the thicker toners. Thanks!

  • I sell Avon, and they have 4 skin care lines directed to your age. 30+, 40+, 50+, and 60+. They also have a hugge range of all age skin care! I haven't tried them yet, but I am excited to! Finding good skin care products really is a life long journey.

  • Can you do a review on the Laura mercier oil cleanser :)

  • do you think the clarisonic is worth it? im afraid it will be too harsh on my skin and wash away my natural oil and make me wrinkly over time.

  • Also, what about sunscreen? That's probably the biggest source of damage that harms your skin

  • @MrsWeena I agree, sun damage is definitely something to consciously prevent. I don't know why I didn't think to mention sunscreen and now that you've mentioned it, I wish I had.

  • my skin is too sensitive for the Philosophy Purity Made Simple ... SIGH

  • @pochaccorulz same :( I just use products like cetaphil which are very basic and organic products

  • I couldn't even tell you weren't wearing makeup, until you said it. You have a beautiful complexion!

  • Very helpful I'm def going to try some of these products! I favorite you videos to save them and watch them in the mornings while I'm getting ready, I could watch your videos forever! Ps the Lancome toner is pretty good too if u were looking for something different! :)

  • LOL it's funny how people think they are so flawed without makeup... Before you said you were not wearing any makeup I couldn't even tell you weren't. Trust me, it's a good thing.

  • Thank you for this! You are so pretty and nice

  • U are not getting old. Check into Estee Lauder serums

  • ur skin is awesome! u dont even need make up : )

  • I should look into some of these things, my face is so damn dry you could rub a stick on it and start a fire! :( thanks for the info

  • its actually a good thing that the mac serum has dark packaging- it protects the vitamins from sunlight which can destroy them. :) your skin looks lovely, i can tell a difference but you look beautiful both ways! lucky

  • Its only awkward when you say it is.

  • @bluebell707 Actually no. It IS awkward, whether or not I say it is. :)

  • @pinkiecharm haha true...but it's more awkward when people say..it's awkward...

  • @anneh08 True, that's a good point. I don't know, when it sounds awkward to me, I assume it sounds awkward to everyone. *lol*

  • You are beautiful with and without makeup! Thanks for the skincare video!

  • I recently found out that toner is actually the most important step of your skincare! You should always apply the item with the lightest consistency first; which is usually a toner. When you directly apply a cream on the top layer of your skin it takes a while before it sinks down to the pores, therefore you should 'feed' your pores with something that absorbs immediately before applying a cream. Otherwise the pores will think theres nothing to absorb and starts to produce more oil!

  • i can see the difference in regards to eyeshadow and gloss, but otherwise i think your skin is just so amazing that even w/o foundation it still looks as good as w/ foundation (or your camera's being funky lol) thanks for the video btw :)

  • i cant tell the difference, maybe a tiiiiny bit around your eyes, but your skin looks lovely! and I love your skintone :)

  • there really is very little difference!

  • omg your skin is absolutely gorgeous! I'm jealous

  • You should try Mario Badescu products! My skin is a lot like yours- fair, dry, sensitive, etc. I used to have flawless skin and NEVER got breakouts/zits up until about a year ago. I guess it is considered "adult acne" since I'm now 20 and it started when I was 19. Now, most people would not consider what I had acne at all but going from flawless to a constant pimple or 2 (or 3!) was extremely frustrating. I started using MB products a few weeks ago and I am in LOVE!! Holy Grail all the way.

  • @welldressed91 Thank you for the suggestion but Mario Badescu products aren't for my skin.

  • I don't think honey bear smell like honey lol XD

  • I have a clarsonic and I love it! I was skeptical at first, but my skin has never looked better!

  • @SC4TT3R3DW1NDM1LLS Is that good or bad? *lol*

  • @pinkiecharm it's good!

  • Your skin looks so great. I'm jealous! :D

  • I agree, Purity is awesome, but it does smell a little funky sometimes

  • I saw that mac lip conditioner! lol.. I am addicted to it too! "and wrinkly and decrepit ,,, from a honey bear.. LOL Thanks for this! I've found some new must try's! You look beautiful with or without makeup! Hugs, Summer :)

  • Biore P.M moisturizer is amazing!!!!!!!!!1

I use to have FLAKEY dry skin, and when I used that product it's now normal!

  • some toners help absorb the moisturizer that you apply better

  • Yes! You fulfilled my request that I posted in a comment on your other video for a skin care video! Well, actually I posted that comment after I read on Twitter that you were going to be posting skin care videos today because I was afraid that you wouldn't post this one. =)

  • I just searched to see if you had tried out Kate Somerville's Oil-free moisturizer....and I think that if you ever get a chance to sample it, you should! It's a product that has fixed my dry skin problems....and it's like a slice of heaven, a breath of fresh air, a sigh of relief whenever I apply it. =) (it's sickingly expensive though...at least for me...$65 for 1.7 fl)

  • @BooksAndRaspberries I just had to say i LOVE kate somerville's skin care products! ouchie on the price but its so worth it! :)

  • i still cant tell the difference between you wearing makeup and no makeup

  • @coffeeprincess709 Is that good or bad? *lol* I can definitely see the difference.

  • you have beautiful skin

  • natural beauty

  • envious. if i had your skin i would not wear makeup.

  • purity made simple broke me out :(

  • My gosh you're even prettier without makeup. How is this possible?! lol

  • Do you ever drink soda? I heard it makes you break out as opposed to just water!

  • @sammykayyx I do enjoy a diet soda pop often but I try my best not to drink too much. Green tea is my love. :)

  • You have lovely skin!

  • yay! no subs in my box for a whole day! :( glad u were there! haha!
