you cant catch a boo in the dark but you can damage it but cannot catch it in the dark you have to be in a lighted room to catch a boo

the reason why it won't work is that ghosts are powerful in the dark. It works only on the light.

Okay, that's kinda creepy. I've had a boo at 0 HP before, but I just aimed the Poltergust 3000 at him and I got him. Creepy.

you kept missing him and he's almost invincible in the dark u need really good aim and fast movements to catch him in the dark, he's really really hard to get in the darkness. it drains 1 hp every 3-4 seconds if i remember right. i'm playing it this days and it's this way

I don't think this is a glitch. It seems like it is not being played right. The Granny is still there with the boo. That isn't right. It may be a glitch but on Nintendo.com, it says it has something to do with your Gamecube/Wii if you play it on the wii

I guess you've never chased a Boo into a dark room.

This was on a Gamecube, and nothing's wrong with it.

You can chase Boos into dark rooms. Including dark rooms with boss ghosts inside them. The 0 HP glitch is a programming error that Nintendo made whils producing the game that I am demonstrating.

when a Boo appears in a dark room because it ran off, or into a hallway, it cannot have its health drained fast or be sucked up, only during lit up rooms and halls

Uhhmmm..... Boos shouldn't even appear in dark rooms O_________o And if they escape to a dark room from a lit up room they should hide until the room has been lit. I had 5 boos in the same room =P

Hmm... I had the same glitch happen with me, and just like yours it was in the regular mansion. However, I highly doubt it is invincible, as I killed the one in my vid right away when I first tried to suck him up. Also, My Boo started in the armory, which I believe has no tablecloths. Sure, it has the cloth on the mirror, but it exited into the hall, nowhere near the mirror.

Like I said, it's not invincible but it only reacted to the vacuum in lit up rooms.

Dunno about yours not having a tablecloth, but that was the only thing that made it stay alive for me.
