@04svtlightning1 kind of depends on how much money you want to spend. I'd recommend a whipple over a kennebell because of whipple's outstanding customer service. A 2.3L whipple will give you a pretty good bang for your buck and plenty of power on the street.
@04svtlightning1 Whipple only makes 2.3 and 3.4 for Lightnings. 3.4 is a little big in my opinion, but from what I've seen, the 2.6 KB is a money maker. KB has very shitty customer service from what I've been told, and whipple's customer service has gotten nothing but rave reviews. That seems to be a big decision maker for alot of people.
If you listen at the 5 second mark you'll hear it shift because I wasn't in it all the way, only about 3/4 throttle until the top of second gear. It sounds like it hesitates, but it actually shifts right there. I have a 3k stall torque converter so the way it shifts won't be the same as yours, but to answer your question it has 3.73 gears. Its weird, I know. Check out my vid from a year or two ago and you'll see how it shifts with a stock torque converter. Night and Day difference.
what sc is better for a lightning a whipple or kenne bell and what size?

Any idea what the hesitation is before you shift? My Lightning is doing the same thing and I can't figure out where to start?
