  • Are you sure this is from 02/10/88? Back of his shirt at 2:25 says 2000.

  • @SilverWeb43 he was being hopeful

  • Yeah, I almost forget: The drummer is a king.... ;)

  • I saw Cheap Trick 2 years ago in The Woodlands, Houston. It was awsome! Still like little boys, music is excelent, great group!!!

  • Wow, this is seriously good. Cheap Trick was/is a band of REAL rock musicians.

  • They Kick ass,, be it Major or Minor

  • 1 person had their Debbie Gibson CD turned up too loud while this video was playing.

  • Got the same guitar

  • super drummer

  • bun was great Hate to say it.....not. they were my first concert.....

lie to me...tell me the bands are better today

  • BRING BACK ROCK & ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome drum solo in the beginning!!

  • Bun E is a great drummer, nice sounding drums, he uses Ludwig heads as well

  • fucking awesome!

  • Go Bunny, Go (sic)

  • Brilliant drummer, wonderfully talented and flamboyant lead guitar and the right pretty front man - all wrapped up in Chicago cool. How could Cheap Trick miss? This is a rock-n-roll band!

  • great band

  • Rick Neilson the guitarist wearing the hat wrote all the old cheap trick songs. Now I think the band gets credit for writing. But Fats Domino wrote this song.

  • what a down home original style! Fabulous!..Yes..I would go to their concert!..wonder who writes the songs? I guess it looks like the lead singer may?..

  • Looks like an 8string EADG bass isnt it? Tuned in diffrnt octaves, that's nice!

  • GREAT!!! ALL about fun with these guys.. The only non boring drum sosl in rock & Roll... Nice hat Tom... Dr. Suess needs it back...

  • Robin is uber hot in this clip. He always looks great though -- continues to adapt with the changing times and thus is always 'current' - kind of like the band's music actually. Nice!

  • ludwig drums and bun e carlos !!monsterous combo !!

  • Hey I'm a Bun E. fan, I can't help it! lol!! He's the perfect rock drummer!

  • @SodCorley Never a truer word said, the drums make the song

  • Awesum solo part from Bun E. !! Go Bun E Go!! ;-p

  • Awesome drum solo Bun E. I remember listening to the Live At Budokan album and just loving this track. I have a question though. I know Tom, Pete and John were the bassists but when did Slash become a bassist for Cheap Trick? LOL. (Just kidding Tom.)

  • Pete and John ?

  • Yes. Tom Peterson left in 1981 and Pete Comita joined them as their new bassist for a short time. He was replaced by Jon Brant who recorded four albums with them and then Tom came back in 1988.

  • Wow...did not know that. Thank you for the ducation!

    :>)

  • Your welcome =D.

  • @zacandtaylorrule what's the bass?

I have a Hamer 8-string and a 8-string Hagstrom; this has 12 it looks like...

  • Not sure what make of bass it is but I think Tom Peterson and Tom Hamilton from Aerosmith both used 12 string basses.

  • Hamer makes one, tuned in octaves, about $2-3 K; i love the sound of my 8 string, but it's not everyone's choice

The red one I have w/ explorer body is like Tom P played in the early 80s which inspired me to get one

  • I am not sure which one invented the 12 string guitar but it was either Tom Peterson or Hamilton.

  • LMAO

  • their drummer looks like a fatter version of my dad.lol, very good version of this song.

  • Damn...they rocked it...

  • I think I saw this tour, they opened up for Robert Plant.

  • excellent drum solo in the beginning

  • YES! Thanks for posting!!!
