i found this music band in this week from europe... I' ve never heard them before... But I can say, this is the music, this is the rock 'n' roll. I join to you, they are legend! Max respect!!!!
Got say it , Hes awesome on the DRUMS , What a great song ,Funny my teacher always said AINT is not a word. And yet...........................................Aint that a Shame.
The word is alive and well. Rock on, Cheap Trick . Maybe Ill see you again ,in Peoria Il. one day. I ain't loosing hope.
Brilliant drummer, wonderfully talented and flamboyant lead guitar and the right pretty front man - all wrapped up in Chicago cool. How could Cheap Trick miss? This is a rock-n-roll band!
Rick Neilson the guitarist wearing the hat wrote all the old cheap trick songs. Now I think the band gets credit for writing. But Fats Domino wrote this song.
what a down home original style! Fabulous!..Yes..I would go to their concert!..wonder who writes the songs? I guess it looks like the lead singer may?..
Robin is uber hot in this clip. He always looks great though -- continues to adapt with the changing times and thus is always 'current' - kind of like the band's music actually. Nice!
Awesome drum solo Bun E. I remember listening to the Live At Budokan album and just loving this track. I have a question though. I know Tom, Pete and John were the bassists but when did Slash become a bassist for Cheap Trick? LOL. (Just kidding Tom.)
Yes. Tom Peterson left in 1981 and Pete Comita joined them as their new bassist for a short time. He was replaced by Jon Brant who recorded four albums with them and then Tom came back in 1988.
looks like he has some nice sticky gloves very important if u wanna hold onto ur sticks

@zacandtaylorrule what's the bass?
I have a Hamer 8-string and a 8-string Hagstrom; this has 12 it looks like...
irvnz 2 years ago
Not sure what make of bass it is but I think Tom Peterson and Tom Hamilton from Aerosmith both used 12 string basses.
zacandtaylorrule 2 years ago
Hamer makes one, tuned in octaves, about $2-3 K; i love the sound of my 8 string, but it's not everyone's choice
The red one I have w/ explorer body is like Tom P played in the early 80s which inspired me to get one
irvnz 2 years ago
I am not sure which one invented the 12 string guitar but it was either Tom Peterson or Hamilton.
