You can only download Wii Save Games the Virtual Console Game Saves won't work because theres a code that Nintendo puts on them so they only work on the if you pay for them

Im not a Wii professional but i've heard that the nintendo wii just accepts 2gb sd cards.. :S

There is a special software that allows you to use the 4gb sd card but im not sure about 8gb ones....

I use a 2gb one and it works fine ;)

@SargentAveryJohnson Game saves for games like Brawl can't be copied. You must download Homebrew Channel, then install Priiloader. If you are on 4.3u (or 4.3e) you can use Smash Stack to get the Homebrew Channel. There are some videos on that, you should watch them, because they work, and I use HBC to play GBA games, and- *shotgunned*

Wait wait WAIT. How is this supposed to work for those save files that can't be copied? I tried copying a Samurai Warriors 3 save from the SD card, it said it can't be copied.

In fact, come to think of it, how were you able to make that save in the first place? IIRC, Wii games that connect to Wi-Fi can't have their save files copied.

FOUND THE BIG PROBLEM THAT EVERYONE WAS HAVING NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE THE FILE SHOW UP ON THEIR SD CARD VIA THEIR WII!!!

Okay, so I erased those files I put on my SD card coz they didn't work. The file now shows up. When I downloaded the file, the file name wasn't a data.bin filename. It was something like data_2.bin or something like that and that's why my Wii didn't recognise it. Make sure when you download a file it's named .data.

Trial and error got me the right answers.

I already have an SD card with Virtual Console saves on it and the Private/ Wii/ Title folders.
