Sucks for domestic animators but alas, such is way of the industry atm I guess...

@XxxDemiGodxxX1 I'm SURE they did. In fact, Dante Basco twittered last summer about how surprised he was over the fact he was called back to voice someone RELATED to Zuko - and I doubt Azula found anyone. (Most likely died in the mental hospital - only the comics will tell.)

Although I'm a big fan of avatar, I doubt that Korra will capture the spiritual and philosophic concept of the original Avatar. Meanly because of Korra's personality. I hope that the creators of the show prove me wrong :)

@darevil009 According to what I've read, it's expected to come out somewhere around the middle of 2012. As for how long it will be, As I understand it, it won't be a full length series like the original, but rather a mini-series. According to the Avatar Wiki, they plan to make around 26 episodes, but that number might change.

I think it all depends on the the type of reception it receives once it comes out though.

They don't have all the dialog(hearing how a piece of information is said can make worlds of difference when interpreting it), they don't post all the concept art that was shown, and they never put down the funny stories that are told.
