im not sure which one i had. it was a "sampler disk" that had crash bandicoot 1 and footage of twisted metal 1. it came in a cardboard sleeve and was a weird tye dye color. also,im not sure of which error sign u are talking about but im prolly gonna look for it now out of curiousity.lol

this scared the fuck outta me as a kid in 96, my mother bought me one for christmas instead of a saturn and i cried saying nobody loved me. lol then came the horror when this sound hit my eardrums. i never played it alone or at night cause my dumbass was creeped out by the start up. i only had battle arena toshinden and a demo disk.

this start up used to scare me shittless when i was 5 years old, i would close my eyes, cover my ears and shout "lalalalalalalala" when i turned it on to play pacman world 3D and all of the classics. For some strange reason i have always been scared of huge synth sounds like the THX logo and viacom tv logo etc. Anyway, that 21 seconds summed up my childhood. When i look back now, theres no console start up that i would rather listen to now... XBOX 360?... HAHAHA pathetic!

I remember doing babysitting back in the mid 2000's and taking care of a little girl named Zahra when her father was away and i always bought my PSX with me to keep me and Zahra entertained. We played a lot of Crash team racing, Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Pocket Fighter, Just to name a few.

Bet intro to a game console ever. Goes to prove maybe I shouldn't have talked so much shit about Gateway and/or thought so highly of Alienware. Actually it probably has to do with the limit pushing setup in a Alienware and the mildness of the two gateways. ... makes me wonder did the PS2 push a little too far for its day?

I was creeped out by it too. I think it depended on the disc and how well it could read it. For me, sometimes it started right away, sometimes it paused, sometimes it'd go to the BIOS and I'd have to reset.
