no i never played wow so i dont get it. How does it take one month to get 1 melee mastery and sharpshooter > 100. My friend did that in like 2days prepatch and i did it casually in like 1 week. Hardly one month AND its hardly a grind. Its called skilling but if you cant be bothered putting effort into your char then you will be bad and stay bad. Its like that in every game.

Skill in DF = aim, movement, dodging, tactics etc

Skill in othergames = mashing buttons 1-5

@DFrysk if you put time/effort into any game (or anything in life) you get better at it. In every game there is the "hardcore niche" or fat nolifers/livesinmumsbasement types that are the best because they dedicate their life to it. You dont have to be able to compete with them to compete in darkfall^^

Hate to say it but if you want classes, go back to WoW. In darkfall you can do anything and everything. If you specialise - obviously you get a big damage increase in that area. If you dont like it GTFO and stop flaming people that are making good movies.

stats dont really make much of a difference to damage (only to maximum stam/mana) he doesnt use ANY offensive magic.

The recent expansion just lowered the bar greatly for "pvp readiness". Dont blame the game because your too lazy to spend a few hours getting some skills. Name me some other good pvp MMOs that you can be pvp viable on day one?

2 things - i didnt say it would take a few hours to be able to do what hes doing/beat him, i said to be pvp ready. (Like in EVE i was able to go out with a group pvp but i would have no chance solo.

- Second - you expect to be able to beat a veteran on day one? mmmmmmmmmmm ok then retard. Name some other MMORPGs where someone on day one can even remotely touch a vet.

So? You think the most developed characters in this game have no skill? There are leagues in Darkfall, and to be in top you have to have competitive stats to even be considered there, to succeed you need to be a good player. Sorry my typing might confuse you cause I'm drunk lol

Of course it is, but in darkfall you must specialize in all of the skillbuilds like this guy, ranged, melee, healing spells. And that takes time. The issue simply is skillcap and how it ruins economy of the game.

I don't have a single elemental school at 100. The healing spells are lesser magic with possibly witchcraft for witches brew. Getting the spells to use for a melee/archer build takes no time at all.

if u dont want to work to be good then why dont u go play call of duty. this isnt ur standard OMG GO ON WOW PVP SERVERS AND WRECK KIDS MY LEVEL ONLY. working for things is something new that this game provides. i have played for a few months and i roll plenty of kids that have much higher end characters than i do. its not hard, u just need to be better player skill wise.

Dude, ignorancy is stupidity stop playing with it. I never said I couldn't work for my skills, but in DFO you must work endlessly... Which is the issue, do you understand? No skill-cap... There isn't a point when you can stop grinding. I have played Aoc got lvl 80 tempest of set, I got 80 warrior in wow and 2 lvl 70's and 68 rogue, 32 engineer in warhammer. Those were theme park games, and I still did it mostly by grinding as they didn't have quests at start... Do you understand now?

Yes, I understand your an mmo fagget that doesnt understand the basic concept of pew pew. u dont need an end game character to beat end game characters. player skill is a much heavier factor than character skill. sure, u need mana 2 stamina and maybe confusion, but other than that you can have a pvp ready character in 2-3 weeks

Haha 2-3 weeks, nah m8.. I've been playing for 2 months soon and I get killed after 5 hits. I'm quite a good player, but character still sucks. I'm not saying you need an end game character to be able to beat an end game character.. but you need a few months
