I did a tiny bit of a season with the Astros. Berkman, and Lee are the best home run hitters. I get alot of runs with them and I'm undefeated, but I've been playing a long time, so your pretty good for your first game. Cuz like, I lost 31-0 in my first few games.

this game is good. but, doesn't it seem like the hitting is harder than it needs to be?

i think only 2 things should matter: timing of the swing and where the ball hits the bat. the batter should not have to mess with location. they could have made it so the batter swings and misses at balls too far outside of the strike zone. there would still be strikeouts. but, the pitcher would have to be careful about walks. there are almost never walks in baseball video games.

@lookadrunk If you're basing this game off of graphics alone, then you're severely immature. This game is the most statistically deep and pleasing baseball simulations available right now. The graphics are stylized, Konami obviously wasn't going for realism. However, the gameplay is extremely realistic and, as I mentioned, the stats are crazy deep.

Go back and get it again.

I like playing this. I play as the cards in season mode because of carpenter/ wainright in the rotation and pujhols for the offense.

No. I don't know Japanese and I enjoyed watching videos of the Japanese version.

Besides, a lot of words are actually the same apparently. You'll hear what sounds like "outo" which is obviously "out". The term "foul ball" is the same. I've even heard "pitcher."

Sure, knowing Japanese would help, but the videos are still fun to watch. You can at least get a gist of what's going on without understanding any Japanese.
