wrong. The neck will only bow if you take forever to change your strings. Just do it quick. and apply some lemon oil to the fingerboard to preserve it and restore it. If the neck does bow a little. just take it to a reputable guitar store (Like Guitar Center) and they usually will make a quick truss rod adjustment for free. A lot of things can cause your neck to bow, you shouldn't worry about it with strings!
+1, it doesn't matter if you remove all the strings I do it all the time with no problem. How do you think the manufacturers ship? All the tension is gone which is essentially the same thing
Nope, not true at all, I do it all the time, and have had ZERO problems with multiple guitars. In fact I've left the guitar with strings off for over 24 hours, and have had no problems. There are several different ideas on this, some people say yes, some people say no, I say no because I've had no problems with it. I take them all off to clean and polish...done this with acoustic, classical, and electric, and travel, ZERO problems...EVER
the gear under my tuning peg for the a string is missing its teeth is there any other way i can tune the guitar without replacing the peg?

Never remove all the strings, it can cause the neck to bow. change one string at a time.

@jhempel24 no, you need to do one string at a time or your guitar is going to end up worse than a fender starter o:
