  • The first 7 years you could only hear French and Dutch :P I don't mind, cause I speak both (and I was really surprised The Netherlands won that many times XD) but it must have been boring for the rest of Europe :P

    Example: Both UK and Spain were winners 1969

  • @mjloover1 Actually there were 4 winners in 1969 - UK, Spain, Netherlands and France.

    They all got the same amount of points and there was no tiebreaker-rule, so they had to announce all four as winners. Which lead many countries protesting next year, 1970, and only 10 or 11 countries participated that year.
