This whole album, and this piece in particular, sounds like a still, snow-covered night on a farm somewhere, maybe in Iceland or even the North Pole. I can imagine shadows being cast against the snow, which itself has a blueish tint to it.
Amazing video! Congratulations! The music is awesome and very relaxing! I will watch your other videos!!! And thank you for invite me as a friend!!! =)
I think that's the point...which is why tjomc82 is still alive. Because they listened to the music when suicidal, it repressed the urges, thus keeping them alive.
I watched this with my toddler on my lap. Throughout the song, she kept saying "whoa" and "ooooh" and gasping. When it finished, she looked at me and said "that tickle" and pointed to her head. I think she got it right.
God I love this CD. I'll never forget the first time I heard "First Light". I used to listen to this all the time during late nights when the air was quiet; listen to it during winter months when it's really cold out.
@TheReapersSon It's one of Eno's most sentient tunes....I slept like a baby to it on some occasions, it's also beautiful to play under the stars.................
...this particular track is timeless! I believe it to be one of the most beautiful pieces of electronic music available, I've known this piece for a long, long time.....oh, it's just awesome! Sublime!
At one time, this was my favorite album of all time. It still ranks in my top 3 desert island must-haves. This and "Over Chiangmai" are my favorite cuts from this album.
why on earth did you end it early??? have some respect for the music!
