  • why on earth did you end it early??? have some respect for the music!

  • exquisitely lovely music..... moonlight in the forest in the arms of your lover........

  • No words for this track... out of this world

  • I will never cease to be in awe at this man's creative genius.

  • @moeran1944 Harold Budd is awesome.

  • Love any of Eno's Ambients, heck, he's the forefather as far as I'm concerned.....

  • @Thejbirdy *Harold Budd is the lead composer on this album.

  • @mutualxslump O...kay.

  • This whole album, and this piece in particular, sounds like a still, snow-covered night on a farm somewhere, maybe in Iceland or even the North Pole. I can imagine shadows being cast against the snow, which itself has a blueish tint to it.

  • Amazing video! Congratulations! The music is awesome and very relaxing! I will watch your other videos!!! And thank you for invite me as a friend!!! =)

    Best wishes! =)

  • One of my favorite albums all time

  • Great Video. On my blog already!

  • good opera

  • Great music for people who think...

  • @GreekGeorge1 Amen, it conquers the moronic car stereo thump any day.....I love this piece.

  • I have this sweet Cassette still --LOvely!...

  • i used to listen to this music when i was suicidal

  • @tjomc82

I listen to this music... and I can't think of anybody wanting to kill them self...

  • I think that's the point...which is why tjomc82 is still alive. Because they listened to the music when suicidal, it repressed the urges, thus keeping them alive.

    Love this music.

  • lol

  • @tjomc82 It brought me to my peaceful place, I understand completely....

  • I watched this with my toddler on my lap. Throughout the song, she kept saying "whoa" and "ooooh" and gasping. When it finished, she looked at me and said "that tickle" and pointed to her head. I think she got it right.

  • Very auspicious. Smart baby!

  • This cd and The Pearl are a reason to be here...

  • @lfck116 I LOVE tHE pEARL.....Good call.

  • WIN!

  • Nice video, man. I quite like it.

  • Classic cut from an absolute work of art - one of the greatest albums ever made.

  • God I love this CD. I'll never forget the first time I heard "First Light". I used to listen to this all the time during late nights when the air was quiet; listen to it during winter months when it's really cold out.

  • @TheReapersSon It's one of Eno's most sentient tunes....I slept like a baby to it on some occasions, it's also beautiful to play under the stars.................

  • @Thejbirdy Do you mean Harold Budd?

  • Eno and Budd really did do a masterpeice with this album.

  • I agree....as the genre goes, it's one of the best....along with Fripp's Let the Power Fall.

  • i love harold budd, his music seems to explore the most hidden dreamy part of my mind

  • ...this particular track is timeless! I believe it to be one of the most beautiful pieces of electronic music available, I've known this piece for a long, long time.....oh, it's just awesome! Sublime!

  • I agree. Ambient 2: Plateaux of Mirror is like liquid light converted to sound.

  • Budd & Eno, what a fantastic combination. Been listening to this album for some years now and it still amazes me.

  • Tranquil, subtle and intoxicating....

  • At one time, this was my favorite album of all time. It still ranks in my top 3 desert island must-haves. This and "Over Chiangmai" are my favorite cuts from this album.

  • nice to see and hear music video's like this

  • really very nice!

  • Thank you.
