Most of the same singers who go solo, take another musical direction. Mostly rock! But Jenny stays pop/dance. And that's a good thing. She does what she really likes. This song is okay, but not very strong. She won't get a top 10 hit in europ with this one. Although I hope she does. Cause this is so much better than all those rock and r&b shit.

Phenomenal, significant and meaningful song for Jenny as a solo artist... but (sorry!) horrible videoclip. Back in the days of Ace Of Base and Mega Records, the video team would have been fired and a totally new clip done. I'd see a stark video featuring a band, everyone in black and no fancy dresses at all, no fashion show. Jenny's face along with a band athmosphere is all that's needed to adequately present "Here I Am" as a calling card signalling "now I'm a solo artist".

@ClaesCornelius I never though Ace Of Base had particularly amazing video's to be honest. Today we have higher expectations for Video's. I wouldn't imagine Jenny had a big budget for this video either....It could have had some extra's, proper choreography &more stage props included to make it more professional
