if this was a tornado warning you would have all this put into an emergency kit (box) with: lights, bottled water, food, an NOAA radio battries for the radio, a change of clothes, and if you have time a few things you like.

i remember the storm, i was 9 cause if im 12 now and it was three years ago. I was freakin out.

In April 2011, we actually saw a tornado coming our way. It touched down behind Kroger Marketplace and was haeding straight for Chenal Lakes. All in Little Rock, anyways, I lived in Chenal Lakes and we could see the debris cloud so it was scary, but it subcided like half a mile away

we live in Indiana,and my aunt came in from Florida.

We had a HUGE storm yesterday and the sky was BLACK and had little...like...swirly things XD

My aunt was worried (like NON-STOP) and I couldn't tell if I should be worried or start laughing like crazy :P

Luckily I can just stay in my bedroom (I live in a basement). Last Summer (2009) when tornadoes threatened I was at work and they moved us into shelter areas.

well that sorta sucks. a basement comes in handy. especially if you're moving to Kansas. if you're on top of the weather than you'd know to get the hell over to the shelter, but most often you wouldn't have time. i want to know if your house is newly built or old. because if its old then you'd know that you shouldn't worry about getting many tornado's.
